Policy is not clearly mentioned about self driving car. additional documents have been demanded... REVV demanded a rent agreement saying that some one has taken their car and person car yet not getting back...pathetic answer..... On 1st Sep 2026, I have visited pune at my cousins house and she is living single and when I required 7 seater car. I have visited near REVV centre for good condition car for inspection , I thought if condition is good then I will book it as per company policy (Online / offline), but they refused to inspect (as on sights there was no any photographs of car that other company has provided) and said you have to first book through application after paying around 20% amount then we will deliver at your location after 3 hours without any location specific...then you inspect it and if you have any listed issue then and then you can refused and amount will be refunded and then you have to book another car for 3 hours of waiting period. So at first car booking, person who came to deliver the car has demanded for rent agreement saying that some gujarati person has taken the car and till time the car has not yet recovered....this type of situation arises only to REVV and this type of pathetic rules is not mentioned for documents required list in their sight.... So my 1 day got spoiled as my cousin was not available at the time of delivery and the person has refused to deliver without rent agreement and REVV has demanded her photo along with car saying that car will be delivered to her name only..even we have provided our original as well as duplicate aadhar card and driving licence....also they have demanded all male person aadhar card and driving licence even I have said that only one person will drive a car....also they said that my cousin has to travel with us.... However I have to cancelled the car and entire amount got received after 48 hours of cancellation (car booking cancelled on 01Sep @4pm and refund received on 4 Sep @7pm) Bad experience..... However pricing is competitive and we have no option to book car on my cousin name and booked again and they deliver a car ar 10PM and right now we have return car ....car condition was good....only above policy should be specified or should be altered as company person and customer care person has said that they deliver car on railway ticket also...but for that you have to take delivery at railway station only...(Also same for airport/ bus stand) If they deliver at any location they will demand for rent agreement of person staying at location and have to travel with car and also demanded driving licence of all male person.

I had hired vans from this company on several previous occasions, including multiple-day hires and, more recently, through their Bridlington branch, without any issues until this week. I returned the van at around 9:00 a.m. on Friday, 4 September 2026, approximately 30 minutes later than expected due to a misunderstanding over the return time. The vehicle was a fairly scruffy, dark-grey Transit which I had hired for three days. On its return, the company identified a long but extremely fine grey scratch along the side. There was no dent or indentation, and the mark was barely thicker than a human hair. Although it stood out against the darker paintwork once pointed out, I had not noticed it during the hire. Given the amount of driving I had done on narrow country lanes, I can only assume it occurred during the rental period. I was charged the entire £500 deposit plus VAT, making a total of £600, for this cosmetic damage. I have been driving and owning vans for more than 30 years and, in my view, a £600 charge for a very fine surface scratch with no dent or indentation was grossly disproportionate to the apparent nature and extent of the damage. What particularly surprised me was that the full deposit was taken rather than a more modest amount reflecting what appeared to be a limited cosmetic repair. I paid the charge because, at the time, I did not feel I was being offered any meaningful alternative. Ironically, I had intended to hire a Luton van from them for four days the following weekend and to discuss a longer-term rental of six to twelve months while my own van was off the road. That business will now go elsewhere. Based on this experience, I will not use the company again. I would strongly advise anyone hiring from them to photograph the vehicle very thoroughly before leaving the premises and again when returning it, paying particular attention to even the smallest cosmetic marks. The company may have had its own contractual basis for applying the charge, but from what I personally observed, £600 for a hairline cosmetic scratch on an already well-used hire van appeared excessive and wholly disproportionate. I run my own five-star-rated business dealing with the public for many years. I understand that businesses need to protect their property and recover genuine damage costs. What disappointed me was the apparent lack of proportionality or reasonable discretion in how this was handled. After several previous hires without incident, this experience has ensured I will not be returning.
