I've come back to as.net.uk twice from other providers and appreciate the efficient, simple nature of their line. I started with VDSL and have moved onto FTTP, both have been excellent services for my household. A clean connection and low latency. I appreciated static IP and IPV6 address allocations and highly technical information on their portal. information about underlying carrier outages and latency monitoring are a few of the great services provided. thank you AA.

Very satisfied long-term customer

I've been a customer for over 15 years and been very satisfied with the service over that period.

Problems and issues crop up as they do for any ISP, but the way A&A investigate, communicate and keep track of fault resolution is nothing short of excellent. Few ISPs can consistently offer this level of technical competence and transparency, which is something I need given my reliance on Internet connectivity.

Whilst they are not the cheapest, you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a little more for competence and peace of mind than a cheap-as-chips deal with a lesser provider who immediately try to palm off any issues as "it must be your router".

Superb VOIP telephone system over…

Superb VOIP telephone system over Starlink. I would recommend Andrews and Arnold to anyone living in a rural area with a degraded landline.
We were cut off by BT in error when we requested removal of our poor broadband, they disconnected our landline by mistake.
The company were very helpful, configuring our new phone system for us pre-delivery. Their tech support have been great and we now have a phone system spanning the House, Annex and workshop.
The line is perfectly clear and only costs £1 a month for the number usage (No line Rental).
Our Bill this month was £2, beat that BT!
Wish we'd done it sooner.

Refreshing to speak to actual people

I've been with A&A for a little while now and have had zero problems. Switch over went well and I doubt I'll switch back to anyone else in a hurry. I've had a few techy questions while setting up extra IP addresses for web hosting and instantly got to speak to tech support...no long phone queues and questions answered straight away. Refreshing to speak to actual people. A BIG 10/10 from me !!!

We have broadband, domain hosting and SIP telephones and it all works very smoothly- if there is ever a problem then the support service is superb: they answer you quickly and sort out the problem keeping you up to date throughout the process.

They provide excellent service…

They provide excellent communication and service, every step of the way. From when I first called to asked questions, I got straight to an engineer who advised me on the best solution for our needs. They are slightly more expensive than their competitors, but don't let this put you off. They offer the best service and support in the industry. I am using them now for home, work, and recommend them to friends.

How to fix a difficult line problem? Move to A&A!

Superb. I dumped my existing ISP (Zen Internet) after they couldn't/wouldn't sort what was clearly an Openreach-induced cabinet fault resulting in a completely dead copper pair. Migrated to A&A advising them that the line wasn't working - they got it sorted within 72 hours of the transfer. They have the right sort of relationship with Openreach to get stuff done, and also don't patronise their more technically aware customers or insist on reading from a call centre script (or insist you plug in some dreadful piece of crud plastic childrens' router to test the line). Was particularly helpful to have a single, named contact who dealt with the whole thing from start to finish.

The service itself is excellent, with almost no down time and consistent speeds. I like it so much that I stayed with A&A after moving to the Highlands where mobile internet would probably be faster.

Excellent Service from Andrews & Arnold – Worth Every Penny

I’d been keeping an eye on Andrews & Arnold for a while, and when my previous ISP contract ended, I decided it was time to make the switch. I’m glad I did.

The switching process was smooth and impressively fast. One standout feature is the ability to view detailed logs during the transition, which gave me full visibility into what was happening—something I really appreciate.

Performance-wise, the connection speed is exactly what I expected, and latency has been excellent. As a techie, I particularly value the control panel, which offers a high level of customisation and insight into connection details.

I’ve contacted support twice—not for issues, but to configure additional services—and both times the response was quick, friendly, and clear. Thanks to Tobias and David for their help!

Yes, Andrews & Arnold may be a bit more expensive than some of the larger providers, but the transparency, control, and quality of service make it well worth the extra cost. I feel confident and content with my decision to switch.

I can't say enough good things about this company. The quality of service, the communication, the support, the reliability. I've spent a lot of time waxing lyrical to every neighbour, college, friend and family member who will listen, as to why they need to switch and leave the pain of the bigger ISPs they all suffer from behind. We are a UK telephone company and the number in question IS one allocated to us by ofcom. However is not allocated to or in use by any of our customers.
Our logs show NO SMS as having been sent from this number from our systems.

Is there even another ISP that comes close?

At this point I'm basically not considering any other ISPs, if I couldn't get A&A direct then I'd still go through them with L2TP or something. Absolutely top-notch, fantastic customer service and product that does what it needs to, makes you feel you're in control and that your ISP knows more about networking than you do -- as they should!
I've been an A&A customer since 2018, not planning on changing that any time soon. They're not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, as the saying goes.
