I've always found them to be…
I've always found them to be straightforward, transparent and easy to deal with. Their pricing is fair and they have good support and products for people withore technical experience.
Amazing value-added ISPs
This is my second connection with Andrews & Arnold. They use OpenReach for backbone and provide value added/flexible packages and excellent, accommodative customer support.
Can recommend them wholeheartedly.
AA are the best!
AA are the best ISP I I have dealt with. You get sensible tech support no nonsense or time wasting. Installations and upgrades are fast and efficient and you are kept informed of progress - unlike some national vendors.
I have used them both personally and professionally over the last 25 years and thy have just completed by upgrade to Fibre to the premises and VoIP to retain the landline number. Completely function free!

An ISP that enjoys solving problems
Been with AAISP for a while now, but thought I should add to the list of glowing reviews. If you are in any way techy, this is the ISP for you. Every interaction with them feels like you have skipped the first several levels of tech support and got straight through to someone who know exactly how to get your issue sorted. When we first switched, some slightly obscure part of the Cityfibre config was preventing the connection being established. One phone call, all sorted via some commands their end to reset/reconfigure something.
I also wanted to get my partner's name added to the account to have another piece of paperwork for a future visa application, and they got that sorted quickly even though the online system doesn't support it by default.
That flexibility and willingness to work to solve a problem, rather than the usual "computer says no" approach is so, so refreshing to deal with. It's 100% worth the slight premium you pay for this service.

Excellent service
We have used Andrews & Arnold for our home and office for many years and always have excellent service. We have just upgraded from VDSL to FTTP and Openreach were not very communicative about when they were going to do their bit of the work: it took a lot longer than we expected, but A&A kept up the pressure and we could follow everything in the control system log. On the day of switchover we just moved the plug from the old VDSL box to the new FTTP box and everything worked straight away.
1Gb Fibre that works
Been with AAISP since ADSL (512k) days, then moved to VDSL(80Mbit) , and now onto FTTP (1Gb).
Performance always top notch, can use my own equipment, and there are humans to deal with on end of phone. Priceless has been able to keep the same IP address since the early days despite moving between various services.
In the recent FTTP install they contacted me to arrange a date and time, and the engineer arrived to that time, installed where I wanted, and delivered the new Fibre service working same day. My FTTC service was switched across, so all I had to do was update the login credentials to the new ones that were provided by email a week ahead of time in the router, and plugin the new connection. Speedtests instantly went from 80Mbit (before) to 1G (after).
Speedtests and Reliability have both been top notch over the period -> which is what I'm after.
Yes, there are cheaper ISP's out there, but when you've had no reason to complain at service in near 20 years why would I move?

Mobile Sip2Sim Service
I used to use A&A's Sip2Sim for several years until they phased it out. Then, for no other reason of having to find an alternative provider I went with 1p-mobile - what a massive mistake as a terrible company.
So, when I learnt that A&A had re-instated their Sip2Sim service, I rejoined and very happy so far.
Unlike the likes of 1p-mobile, Lebara, Smarty, ... if I have a problem I can pick up the phone and speak to a human being who is based in the UK, speaks English and is a technical expert. This is worth a lot of money.
I have also used A&A's broadband service for probably over 20 years and have left a review about that on TrustPilot previously, and again would recommend them.
But in this review I wanted to take the time to say I rate very highly A&A and their Sip2Sim service.
Near-Enterprise ISP
Near-Enterprise ISP
AAISP are much closer to an enterprise-grade ISP than the more common domestic-grade ISPs, giving you many more services (including static IPv4 addresses and IPv6 ranges, allowing you to run your own servers, and, most of all, giving you an unfiltered experience of the Internet). This means that while their services are more expensive than the domestic ISPs, you get what you pay for.
The service has been utterly reliable with the exception of the copper line that I was using until my recent upgrade to FTTP. I haven't needed to use support much, but they have been very helpful in getting my VOIP phone service running, and making sure the FTTP upgrade went smoothly.
On the day the FTTP upgrade was as smooth as silk, with less than 5 minutes of downtime through the whole process. I'm more than happy with the performance of the FTTP service.
Reliable, transparent, fair
I've used this provider for my internet in two cities and both times the experience has been excellent. I struggle to see how anyone had issues with setup (as some reviewers did) because the instructions were clear and simple. Even though they're user friendly, AAISP do a great job of being transparent with the service they provide. I have access to detailed service data and I am genuinely blown away that I get a text alert within 30 seconds when they detect that my service is down. A true gem in a world where most ISPs' customer service is intended to keep people from complaining.
So nice to talk to a real human
So nice to talk to a real human who knows what their talking about. Despite the obstacles raised by my previous ISP A & A sorted everything and the transfer of broadband and phone went without a hitch and has worked well since.
Great Tech support and great product
Tech support at A&A was great when I needed help with my fibre connection. E-mails were answered quickly by people who actually understood the technology. This is in marked contrast to other ISPs that I have used.
I've had the A&A broadband service for a month now and can't fault it. It's good to know that if I do have problems, I'll be able to get through to knowledgeable support people in the UK.
Simply Amazing.
If I was to summarise, I would say simply Andrews & Arnold, just works - no marketing buzz words, what they say, is exactly what you get.
Broadband: The broadband is second to none, when it comes consumer (or even some business packages), for context I came from Virgin Media Business package; and AA excels in every category.
On the technical side, AA obviously invests a lot into there core network, not only is latency superb, but peer-to-peer communications with third party networks has higher link capacity (for example, to my own network located within a datacenter, throughput increased by 2x) - with same underlying advertised link capacity. (and not to mention, true routed IP space, IPv6 support, SWIPing, reverse DNS, BGP peering - honestly, if you like network engineering, this is a dream!)
Customer Support: Instantly able to talk to a human, no AI, no robots, just knowledgeable humans who do not read from a script.
Further, AA go a step further, again you can see they truly care about the customer, and will do anything within there power to ensure the customer has a good experience, even as far to point out issues with the line, then ensure OpenReach fix.
In addition, if you're a technical person like myself you can instantly speak to an engineer about any complex issues, or even requirements; honestly the service here is better than some tier 1 providers I have dealt with commercially, and given the price - honestly it's amazing.
TL,DR - what are you waiting for.
Successful house move and upgrade
A&A have just helped me through a second house-move, this time upgrading to FTTP and porting a number to VOIP. Very good service, they have actual people available on the other end of a phone who answer your questions! Glad to be staying with them.
Clarity on the mess of a Skype/MS transfer
I had a Skype number that needed to be ported over. I thought it best to call them to discuss - Skype/MS provided little clarity. A&A were very helpful in setting out the steps.
I set it up, got an email asking for a little more info, a second one saying it was in process and a third a couple of days later saying it was all sorted. Their comms are excellent
On the transfer date, I just logged in to my account and redirected the number to my mobile. This activated immediately.
These guys just do what they say they will do and get on with it. No fuss and very helpful. Really impressed so far
Excellent service
Great experience throughout, when we had questions A&A was very responsive and helpful.
Performance and throughput are top notch, no connection issues of any kind, and consistently testing >950 Mbit speeds despite our own setup adding 20m of cable and 2 switches.
Monthly cost was obviously higher than other providers on offer, we picked based on reviews and experiences and A&A certainly delivered.
First class service!
A new FTTP installation and then porting of our landline number went very smoothly. Their support site gave all the instructions needed for setting up my VOIP DECT phone. I found A&A very knowledgeable and helpful.
Extremely pleased with the outcome!
Great communication
Ran in to a few issues while switching over, but these were dealt with. If, like me, you are sick of dealing with companies that take days to reply to your enquiries and sort out your issues, I'd recommend A&A - you can speak to someone within a minute most times in my experience and the communication is great. Highly recommended.

I’ve used A&A for over six years across three different addresses - they’re my go-to every time. The speed, service, and support are exceptional. No other ISP even comes close, regardless of the speeds they claim to offer.
