I used the parcel collection service…
I used the parcel collection service all I can say is my post lady Ann is amazing she’s such a positive lady always helpful and cares about her deliveries she is an asset to the company.
Absolutely rubbish lying company
Absolutely rubbish lying company, live tracking says less than 3 stops away, that was 3 hours ago. Not delivered today as said. Useless!!
Cowboys
Well if I had a choice in business I…
Well if I had a choice in business I would avoid using these for any service. They leave things on your doorstep to be stolen, other times they just leave them in the depot, they are near on impossible to communicate with and their website is just extortionary to navigate.
Ghost Delivery
I'm sat in my open door waiting for an important delivery when I get a message stating they were unable to deliver my parcel. It says they tried but couldn't get access!
Complete and total rubbish. The online help is useless, you can not contact the depot and you cannot telephone them. Royal Mail should have the "Royal" removed. They are the worst service available.
Bad delivery
Royal Mail is so bad the delivery tracking is terrible no update keep getting delayed and delayed choose Evri or Inpost instead
Royal ‘Snail’
What is happening with Royal ‘Snail’? I sent a card to my daughter first class signed for on 1 September for her birthday today (6 September) she still hasn’t got it.
Also I ordered a card for my Gt Niece on 24 August from Amazon and the company used Royal ‘Snail’. I didn’t get the card until 4 September!!!!
Royal ‘Snail’s service is absolutely shocking!! What is going on?? I try to avoid using Royal ‘Snail’ now as nothing gets delovered or doesn’t get delivered on time!!
I would give them a zero
I would give them a zero. The most useless delivery company known to man and that’s saying something as Evri still exist! My parcel was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago. Nothing. The tracking hasn’t updated. You can’t get in touch with them. Just nothing. Actual POS company. I hope it goes into administration.
Nightmare service
Have paid extra for specific named delivery and not received mail for over 1 week later. I am currently waiting for 2 cards from Etsy who posted them the same day as I ordered. One was for an anniversary - last week and one is for my son in laws birthday. Still waiting. It’s so embarrassing. Only use Royal mail if there is no other option. They are not the same as they used to be.
My heart always sinks when someone is…
My heart always sinks when someone is stupid enough to use Royal Fail’s ‘services’. Been expecting a parcel that was sent via 48-hr delivery early last week. RF may or may not have tried to deliver it on Saturday, when we were out. They are now saying it will come on Sunday, when we are out. Have filled out multiple ‘please leave with my neighbour’ forms, which they clearly ignore. Their tracking is rubbish. It’s also not possible to amend today’s delivery to ask them to deliver to a neighbour. I don’t know how Royal Fail are still in business, frankly.
we are waiting for very important letters. what we should do???????????????????
I have only put one star as you cannot…
I have only put one star as you cannot put none. Royal mail has to be the worst delivery service in the country. Next day delivery apparently means the parcel you sent sits in the depot down the road for 5 days as it stands at the moment. I am sure it will be longer. Customer services are a joke two hours on hold to be told they cannot tell you more than you can see on the tracking. Not able to contact the depot and were no help whatsoever. Ludicrous claim system that makes you wait and hopefully give up. Why do we allow such a shambles company to keep taking our money and not providing the service we pay for?
Utterly useless company
Utterly useless company. So many bad experiences but these are the most recent…
Paid for 48h delivery, it took them a week just to pick the item up from the post office.
Next, waiting for a package, tracking says my parcel is out for delivery, it’s 11:30pm so I highly doubt it! So guess I’m waiting until Monday now.
Let’s bear in mind that the boss of Royal Mail is paid £7m per year!
Amazon can get my items here the same day, what’s your excuse Royal Mail?
Such a shame that a prestigious company like Royal Mail can let their standards slip so far.
The most unreliable company, I’ll never use them again.
GDPR breach by mail redirection service
I have a mail redirection applied to my previous address. Recently I received two parking penalty notifications via this service for someone I don't know who uses/used an address nearby.
I have tried phoning Royal Mail which was not helpful. They provided an e mail for complaints which was even worse saying that the e mail wasn't monitored.
How on earth are we meant to contact them to inform them of a serious GDPR breach? Utterly useless and trying to avoid any customer experience
Totally gone down the pan.
Totally gone down the pan.
The last 3 items I’ve used Royal Mail (or been forced to use by retailers) have all had issues
1. Few weeks ago - parcel didn’t get delivered when tracking said it was on the way, never got told why, never got told where parcel was. So went to local delivery office 2 days later in the hope it was there. Turned out it was there but they couldn’t find it as they had a backlog and “hadn’t sorted the parcels yet”. Apparently I was supposed to go back to the delivery office 3 days later to collect it. Complained and they did deliver it later that day. What’s the point in paying for delivery if I have to collect it myself?!
2. Last week - parcel not delivered. Unsure why other than it said “unable to deliver”. Apparently they would attempt to redeliver the next working day but never have tried. It’s now 4 days later so will have to pay another trip to the local delivery office therefore again doing their job for them. “Local” office is not all that local and there’s nowhere to park except paid parking so actually COSTS money to visit!!
3. Today - worst of the lot. Expensive parcel with tracked delivery. Got notification saying it was delivered, which was weird as I was home at that exact time and nobody rung the bell. Went outside immediately to collect parcel, no delivery driver at the scene.. and it’s not my parcel. It is a parcel of a random person with a completely different address from another street. Even shown on the tracking photo it’s clearly not the right parcel. Has a totally different label. I got notification from the retailer saying item delivered, so I am suspicious this parcel was stolen by the courier (it was valuable). They must’ve scanned my actual parcel and then left a different one (someone else’s!) at my front door, never bothering to actually knock.
Will be raising a formal complaint in the morning and reporting to police as a theft if RM don’t resolve it or find my actual parcel.
A posted card took over a week to get delivered to a local address last week as well. RM have totally lost the plot. I’ll do all I possibly can to never use RM again - please retailers pick literally any other courier service!! Would suggest avoiding if you can! But you don’t need me to tell you that :)
Had to rearrange date for parcel…
Had to rearrange date for parcel collection. It's supposed to be picked up on the 4th September they did not turn up. Rearranged it to be picked up on the 5th September. Not the first time this has happened.
Scam company
4 deliveries I booked as redelivery for today because this week I had a delivery everyday and they have said "delivery attempted " and nothing delivered. Relay, Dpd and even Evri were able to deliver on the same days, while Royal mail just put excuses. I organised a redelivery for today and after sending the email of the parcels being out for delivery, it is 10pm and the parcels haven't been delivered. Royal mail is a massive scam.
Absolutely useless
Well according to their tracking, my parcel was out for delivery, but then I get a message at 19:38 apologiing ans saying they wil try the next working day. Dear Royal Mail you broke your contract, bloody useless.
Last time I bought something delivered from an online order, they delivered it to the wrong shop.
And then there was the time they put my order half way through the letterbox -form their photo, but when I got home, it was missing. Roral Mail's response, we delivered it hard luck contact the seller.
So now, dear useless Royal Mail, I am not going to order from any company which chose Royal Mail as their courier because you are f'ing USELESS.

Not sure why I'm writing this as it's a fart in the wind amongst the 130,000 reviews and 1.3 star rating.
Another Saturday delivery claiming my parcel is out for delivery that's never even attempted and a customer service team trained at the "computer says no" academy.
BAD Company
Very good company, they gave me a delivery time between 1.30-19.30 and they didn't come. I stayed at home all Saturday waiting for the packages to arrive. DO NOT CALL THEIR SERVICES.
Worst service
Worst service. I have paid for next day guaranteed delivery by 1:00am. But didn’t deliver till now. It’s 7:20 pm now. I have called the customer care centre and asked about the update but it was worst too. They can’t provide when the delivery will arrive. Simply said it’s delayed. So what’s the point of taking our money when they couldn’t deliver it.
