I purchased a ZIMO sound decoder and Breeze speaker for my Dapol Manor, and the finished result is beyond superb. The sound quality is absolutely fantastic — it’s so rich, clear and incredibly effective in the locomotive. I love blowing the whistle and hearing it reverberate around the room! Once installed and running, it completely transformed the model.

What I think really sets YouChoos apart, though, is the customer service. John was incredibly helpful throughout the installation, taking the time to offer advice, answer questions and help me work through the setup properly. I’m relatively new to fitting sound decoders and speakers myself, and at no point did I feel like I was being rushed or that my questions were a nuisance. The level of knowledge, patience and personal support was exceptional.

It’s increasingly rare to get this kind of service from a specialist retailer. You’re not simply buying a decoder and sound project; you’re buying from someone who clearly knows the products inside out, enjoys using them and genuinely wants to make sure you get the best result from them.

The Manor is now running beautifully and sounds amazing. I’ll absolutely be using YouChoos again when the opportunity arises.

Easiest website by far for finding the right blind to fit a Velux. Easy to understand, clear and intuitive. The instructions to find the required information and no need for a tape measure either!

Fast delivery and the install took minutes. Great instructions and a very sturdy, great looking window blind to the Velux was fitted.

Beautiful light fitting that elevates a room on or off! It’s huge, you can’t miss it and the orbs with the LED lights give off a great glow.

At night, when the lights are off the orbs catch any light there is and sit above you like little planets.

Note on the install: The electrician who fitted wasn’t overly keen on the connecting blocks pre-installed and used his own (wagos?) in the end to install back to the various feeds.

Good on the day comms, plenty of advance comms as well with delivery date, time window and then narrowing down on the day.

Guys were polite on the day.
