We paid for our old washing machine to be disconnected and taken away, and the new one to be installed. Upon delivery, the delivery guys weren't able to remove the old washing machine - not their fault, it was completely jammed under the counter.

AO customer service phoned us to help. They first refunded the disconnection and installation fees and then arranged collection of the old machine a few days later, after we'd been able to extract it ourselves (we had to dismantle the kitchen cabinet to get it out).

When shopping around, we found another supplier who was a little cheaper than AO but I stuck with AO because I knew their reputation for service. I'm so glad I did.

It really works. Choose from a range of providers and types - signed for / not signed for, next day / 2+ days, drop off your parcel locally or have it picked up at home. Timed delivery slots if needed. Etc.

Additionally, the company I work for (a large mail order business) uses DPD - they are extremely reliable and we encounter very few problems.

Many negative reviews here because, I suppose, this is where people to go vent their anger when a parcel goes astray but I've never had a problem.
