Geblokkeerd om niets
I have been a seller on Vinted for 5 years and, until recently, I was generally satisfied with the platform. However, things have become an absolute mess lately.
Sellers are being blocked, restricted, or even permanently removed for the slightest reasons. In my case, and for many people I know, this concerns the sale of Diddl items. Vinted keeps labeling these listings as "commercial sales," even though these are simply second-hand items being sold by collectors and private individuals.
It is incredibly frustrating to see a platform that constantly promotes selling your second-hand belongings suddenly punish loyal users for doing exactly that. At this point, I strongly suspect there is a serious flaw or bug in your AI moderation system, because the number of false flags and wrongful account actions is absurd.
Vinted needs to investigate and fix this immediately. Many long-term users have invested years into building their accounts and have generated significant revenue for the platform. Treating loyal sellers this way is unacceptable.
If this continues, Vinted risks losing the trust of the very community that helped make it successful in the first place. Do something about it before more users are unfairly penalized and driven away
Excellent selling platform with great service
Selling platform works excellent. Great support. Excellent service when one time a package arrived severely damaged. Allthough I still have my doubts about the honesty of the buyer, Vinted handled everything with care and professional attitude.
The platform is good, customer service is terrible
The platform is good, no complaints there, however, customer service is literally non-existent. First of all, it is very difficult to get through to a human being (the chatbot keeps interfering) and when you get in touch with a human being, you still get automated responses and no reply to your questions.
So when selling and there is no problem, the platform is super, but when a problem arises, it is the worst of its kind.
no customer support
I followed the steps and sent the order. For some reason the shipping status got stuck and the buyer was refunded and I have no goods. Its impossible to get in touch with their customer support
Until I bought an item with no doubt I…
Until I bought an item with no doubt I was an authentic Apple product I was satisfied with the platform, I had to pay to return a fake. My advice is check it well first before you buy anything.
A complete disregard for Professional Sellers
We are a small registered fashion business with more than 20 years of experience in second hand luxury fashion. We have sold more than 1,100 items on Vinted, maintain a 5 star rating, and have built a community of more than 3,400 followers.
In all these years, we have never had a single authenticity issue.
Yet, in recent weeks, our Professional Account has been blocked three separate times for publishing 100% authentic products.
Each time, the restrictions appeared to be triggered by an automated system. Each time, our business operations were interrupted. And each time, support responses consisted mainly of generic templates and requests to “please wait.”
The most concerning part is not the mistake itself. Technology can fail. The problem is the complete lack of urgency and understanding of the consequences for small businesses that rely on the platform and have spent years building trust and reputation.
A professional seller with a spotless history should not be repeatedly treated as collateral damage by an automated moderation system.
We fully support the fight against counterfeit goods. But repeatedly blocking legitimate businesses over authentic products, without timely and meaningful human review, is simply unacceptable.
Vinted needs to seriously reconsider how it treats its long standing professional sellers.

This is one of the worst customer…
This is one of the worst customer experiences I've had in recent times.
I have contacted them five times through different methods via their "Contact Us" page, and each time I receive an automated message that doesn't lead to anything. I've been trying to get in contact for weeks now.
Due to this, I've missed some sales.
Vinted is forcing me to commit an illegal act (returning/shipping a counterfeit product) to get my money back
I am dealing with an incredibly frustrating and illegal situation on Vinted, and human support is completely unresponsive.
I purchased a Pokémon HeartGold game that turned out to be a counterfeit reproduction. I immediately reported it to support with conclusive photographic evidence.
Instead of receiving human assistance, I am trapped in an automated loop. The bot is demanding that I ship the fake item back to the scammer by June 22nd in order to receive my refund.
This is completely unacceptable for two reasons:
1) Transporting and mailing counterfeit goods across borders is strictly illegal under Dutch, French, and EU law. I refuse to commit a postal crime to satisfy a flawed automated system.
2) Vinted’s own Anti-Counterfeit Policy explicitly states that if an item is a counterfeit, the buyer will NOT be required to return the item to the seller.
I have repeatedly explained this in the support chat, but I am being completely ignored while the automated clock runs out. I urgently need a human support manager to step in, freeze this June 22nd deadline, review my evidence, and process my refund without forcing me to break the law.

Vinted marked my order as delivered, but I never received it
I purchased an item on March 5, 2026.
The package never reached its destination.
For weeks, both the seller and I were in contact with Vinted Support. We were repeatedly told that we had to wait until a specific date before opening a claim or requesting an investigation.
When that date finally arrived, the order was automatically marked as delivered, and Vinted refused to investigate, stating that the deadline for reporting the issue had already passed.
I am not requesting a refund. I simply want to know where the package is, as neither the buyer nor the seller has received it.
At one point, the carrier stated that they were unable to locate the package, while Vinted continued to claim that it was still in transit.
After multiple contacts with both Vinted and the carrier, nobody has been able to explain what happened to the item.
What is most frustrating is that we were instructed to wait before taking any action, only to be told later that it was too late to investigate. We are simply asking for transparency and for someone to determine what happened to the package.

Automated bots ignore GDPR and protect counterfeit sellers
I bought an item on Vinted that turned out to be counterfeit. When I requested a standard return, the seller (tjawd) retaliated by leaving a verifiably false and defamatory review on my profile. The seller completely fabricated a story to damage my reputation.
I contacted Vinted support to remove this slander. Instead of reading the chat history, which proves my request was just a standard return, they rely entirely on automated bots and copy, pasted responses. They refuse to enforce their own policies regarding harassment and fake items.
They force users to resolve issues with scammers directly while ignoring official GDPR Article 16 and 17 requests to remove false personal data. Vinted clearly prioritizes protecting malicious sellers over honest buyers.

Selling and buying items went smoothly, but ....
Selling and buying items went smoothly. The removal of one of my very first offers (a leather coat) with a supposedly "suspicious" brandname, was strange to me. I bought this coat years ago, mentioned and showed the brandname in the advert without any awareness whatsoever of any wrongdoing. I get "disciplined" by removing the advert, and NOT DELETING that removal for 1/2 year. I find this absurd, particularly because I am absolutely unaware of any wrong doing. A strange "experience" to say the least.
Great platform
Great platform, nice experience so far. Due to my location I have to limit the shipping options which is unfortunate, but I'm happy that the buyer can opt out of providers that are too far away. It makes it easier!

Unfair case resolution and support bot…
Unfair case resolution and support bot loop!
Vinted support is about to cancel my transaction for t-shirt from 10 years ago based strictly on the buyer's unverified claim that it's "counterfeit". I provided clear evidence: the photo of the tag from my listing and the buyer's photo are identical, proving they received exactly what they bought. Front-line support ignores this, sending automated replies (48-hour ultimatum). I have already filed a formal legal complaint and will escalate to ODR/VVTAT if my funds are stolen and given to the buyer for free.
