Well, where I do begin.....
Well, where I do begin.....I guess at the start of this exhausting journey.
I had come across this organisation on Facebook. With the start of the year, the planners they offered looked enticing.
Having done some due diligence, as one may be sceptical buying from random sponsored Facebook ads, I checked out the reviews they offered along with visiting Trustpilot.
I felt convinced they were the real stuff and my order would be ok.
Jan 5th, the nightmare was only starting.
I placed an order on their site. It assured me it would be with me in 7 days or I could opt for the 48 hours delivery, with extra. Well, I'm glad I didn't opt for the 2 days because it took my planner 22 days to arrive.
Upon ordering the calendar, I was never sent a confirmation email on purchase. This was slightly concerning and thought it was odd. A couple of days later, I phoned up the organisation and asked why I didn't receive an email confirmation on my order.
I was told there were glitches with their system, yet assured my order was on its way.
10 days in and no planner.
I called up the organisation to find out where my order was to be told they had run out of the cardboard boxes to ship items out. Bad planning of a business especially when this sort of planner was going to be a big winner in the New Year. They should have had backup suppliers or ordered in October a bigger bulk of boxes to cater to Jan.
Now, why did I have to chase up my order?
An update email would have given me an understanding after the 7 days where my calendar was. I don't think it was fair as a customer that I have to chase. In addition, they had no problems with taking my money within a day of the order.
Now, look we are only human, I get it.
After my conversation, they apologise and said the calendar would be out shortly. I did make mentioned, it is important to keep your customer updated with any changes or delays.
I think my feedback simply fell on deaf ears.
15 days in and no planner.
Again, no updated email. So I contact the company again asking them where my order was. I was told the machinery broke down this time. Furious at point WHY no update AGAIN after clearly stating this in my last phone call.
Keep your customers updated and everything will be cheery. We just want to be kept in the loop!
I requested an email to have proof when this planner would come now as my trust with this organisation was well gone. I received the email telling me my planner would be with by Wednesday however by Friday nothing again. On Friday, a screenshot from Hermes came with no link to track.
On Monday, the planner finally arrived.
Excited as I had been waiting so long, only to open the box and be presented with the incorrect coloured planner. The joy I had when I saw this.
I proceed to call up the organisation, speak to the owner and vent my frustration.
This organisation has no method of structure to it. It is completely unorganised and if you order from them be prepared to get the brunt of it.
Over the phone, the owner did apologize and offered to send the new planner without cost. Strangely enough, the new planner appeared on my doorstep the very next day. Why didn't I receive this upon my first order is beyond me.
Well, it was missing the pens to write on the planner, so again I had to pick up the phone and request the pen.
Its seem like there is a lack of quality control of this organisation as well.
While I give the credit they have tried to amend this situation and not hide away from it, the journey itself is not one I would take again.
And they have unfortunately lost a customer for life and word of mouth spreads like a forest fire.
With the economy, we are in, and the variety of online shops out there, you have up to your customer experience because with a click they can go someone else and without customers you have no business.
