The manager in Liffey Valley
was so rude and obnoxious. He wasnt listening to me as he was taking a private call and laughing throughout my request. I then called customer service and they hung up on me twice during my conversation. I was only trying to update a old sim(never again)
The two people i spoke with on the phone where non nationals and their English was very poor. Going back to Vodafone as id rather pay the extra €5 a month than use Three service.
Never again.

Avoid three. Visited the Limerick store today. Explained my situation, discussed what I was trying to achieve and why, gave him my phone to look at, he took it away connected it to instore wifi was told that I needed a €20 esim as my solution.
Paid my €20 euro. After I paid he tells me my phone doesn't support an esim and that I can't have a refund. Ask the manager she will not help, won't call customer care or try in anyway to help. Just reiterates no possibility of getting a refund, Absolutely atrocious levels of accountability and service. Do not get similarly caught out by their appalling policies and lack of customer care. Avoid three store Limerick and their network.

I cancelled my three WiFi and was told to go back to the shop which I did
I paid for a month of WiFi after threats from 3 that did not work - the mast was down and they never bothered to tell me of course
I then spent 1hr trying to tell customer service that I had allready gone through cancellation with another agent to no avail, eventually after they tried to get me to go to the store (again) I got it cancelled and Zero compensation was given a total waste of time
Unbelievable incompetence and lack of Internal communication
I asked for credit to be applied and I was told no so go on off with your request for more information you had a chance to improve and failed miserably

My mother 86yrs had a problem with her bill.
Alison in the Tralee Shop in Co Kerry was extremely good in helping her deal with customer service team and went through all the issues until she got it all sorted. She made the experience stress free by just going the extra mile in helping my mother sort the situation. It was very satisfying to be able to deal with someone as professional as Alison and her respect for my mother as a Three customer.

I had a wonderful experience at the Three store thanks to Mags and the manager, Cat.
I wasn't planning to buy a new phone at all. But after talking to Mags, I completely changed my mind! She explained the different contract options, the terms, and the services available. She was so friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful that I came back the very next day to sign a contract.
I am Ukrainian and I am deaf, but that didn't stop Mags for a second. She happily communicated with me using Google Translate, took her time to explain everything, and made sure I understood every detail. Her kindness and patience meant a lot to me.
When the phone I wanted wasn't available in the store, the manager, Cat, immediately stepped in and arranged for it to be ordered from the warehouse. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently, and my phone will be delivered to my home in just three days.
The atmosphere in the store was welcoming, friendly, and made shopping a pleasure. I will happily return to see Mags again, and I will confidently recommend Mags and Cat to everyone, especially people who have communication difficulties. I know they will always do their best to help.
Thank you, Mags and Cat, for your outstanding customer service!

I've been trying to stop the line for at least one year cause I move from Ireland long time ago. Everytime I call they don't answer and if they do they don't help you at all. Not to speak about the fact that I've been charge twice in the same month for no reason, I call and they put the fault on me when I paid the 1st and the 20th of that month a total of 124€, (again totally unnecessary). They didn't solve anything, despite it was their mistake. Is being a nightmare to stop the line and I'm already tired of paying for something I'm not using. My expierence wasn't good and I'm still trying to find support from Three to fix this problem without any solutions.

Would give 0 if possible of course. Horrific. Zero customer service. Even the 'humans' are trained robots. Left without roaming on multiple occaions. Zero accountability. Impossible to find support or how to cancel online. Just as bad as Virgin and they both seem to be owned by 'Liberty Global' (clearly a joke of a name and deserve their own bad review).

Squeeze you for every penny
I was a broadband customer on a 2 year contract. After 25 months I noticed that the contract was finished and I was free to leave.
Important context, this was a SIM card modem. So no fibre cables, no installation required. A very simple, plug in the modem and insert the SIM card.
Upon ringing to cancel my now finished contract, I was advised I had to provide them with 30 days notice.
30 days notice for what exactly? Having worked in broadband for 2 years I was mindful not to take out my frustration on the woman I was speaking with (not her fault). No one could explain to me why despite being out of contract and under no obligation, I had to give more than 4 weeks notice. No technicians required, no contact to OpenEir or SIRO to change ownership of the fibre lines, nothing.
I asked if there was anyone I could raise this issue with, any email I could contact and was politely told nope, it’s our policy.
The only thing I can think of that makes any sense is that the 30 days notice period is just to make sure than they get one more bill from you as a parting gift.
This is something that I tried a week ago on the app and on the website which unsurprisingly, it’s impossible to do.
For people that work, you have to take 45 minutes out of your lunch, or go to a store on the weekend for something that should take 30 seconds to do on your phone.
I can sign up, I can enter a contract, I can pay them money easily, 2 clicks on a website, but cancellation? They’ve made it intentionally as inconvenient as possible and place you on hold during business hours to get as much money from you as possible.
So cheers lads, rant over, I’m sure Vodafone want to say thanks for the new customer.

The worst internet service I’ve ever had! It’s completely unstable and doesn’t even work properly to watch a video on Instagram. The monthly fee is far from cheap, yet the service is terrible. The customer service is awful as well. I’m just waiting for my contract to end so I can cancel it once and for all!

Tried to cancel bill( do to move to different country) but was told I have to pay 1000 for it i have 9 months left at 47.50 left. There just scam artist.

This is the second time Three has cancelled an order of mine with no notice and no explanation, despite my account always being in good standing and in credit. I completed the online order in full; the cancellation came afterwards with no reason given. When I called customer care the agent could only confirm it was cancelled and couldn't say why, directing me to the privacy team.
I've completed the same bill pay process with another Irish operator without issue, which points to the problem being on Three's side. I've had to escalate this as a formal complaint and a GDPR request just to find out the basis for the decision. Cancelling a paying, in-credit customer twice with zero explanation is a poor way to treat people. Order: 258335105A
Awful, just an awful company. Avoid at all costs. They’ll deliberately overcharge you, lock your device. Terrible experience, with them for years.
taking online orders for a phone that isn't in stock is a time waste for everyone. I cancelled my upgrade and it takes 3 days for some reason to cancel, so I'm in no man's land and can't even go in store to get a device. Never ever order online with three it's always a ordeal just go in store.
I have the WiFi since 2025 and was the worse experience ever. I bought it to play online and watch online live shows but it only stresses me. It keeps loading every time, you can’t play online games cause the internet is too slow and when you see you failed the game. I’m truly disappointed.
My screen crashed on my phone and i dreaded getting it sorted out as I'm not very techie. Natalie in the Three Store in Tullamore was just brilliant. She sorted it all out for me in about 10 mins. Super efficient girl, lovely, smily and so so helpful. She was a joy to deal with and i couldn't complimemt her enough. Thank you Natalie.
This is the worst network ever, i can’t even change to a new broadband plan on the same network. Now i have to wait for a year using a slow internet connection like what the hell.
After 3 phone calls and emails sent, the only description I can use, it was like speaking to a wall. I have an extremely serious issue which has not been responded to and no action taken to rectify it. The consumer service operators have not sufficient language skills to communicate with.
After 14 years as a customer.
Three lied to me about my bill, overcharged me and then said like it lump it.
Three truly are a terrible company and their employees are shameless.
Don't give Three your business!
DO NOT GET THEIR 5G BROADBAND. The signal is terrible. We live in a small house beside a train track and every time a train passes the WiFi drops. They have us locked into a 2 year contract also and doubled the monthly charge in May so we are stuck paying more for the worst WiFi in Ireland. Avoid at all costs!!! They told us on the phone the only people who can get out of their contracts are dead ones...... so there ya have it
Poor Customer Service,Can’t even port a number,I am already waiting 12 days and they only know send port request, even I explain to them.I wasted my 20 euro on them
