Ben in the shop was incredibly helpful. Had a slightly complicated situation with getting broadband installed in our property and Ben managed it very easily & offered a great Broadband/ SIM deal. Went back when we needed another phone SIM sorted and were in & out in no time. Very knowledgeable and great team in store. Will be back!

I recently moved to Dublin from outside the country and he was super patient and kind, explaining everything in detail and answering my various questions with expertise. I’ve come in multiple times to chat with him specifically again after his amazing initial help he gave when I first came in. I recommended this store because of Bren to my other friends as well.

Very disappointing experience at Vodafone Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork

I have been a Vodafone customer for nearly two years, but unfortunately my experience has become increasingly disappointing.

During this time, I have had ongoing problems with network coverage and internet speed. Despite these issues, I have remained a customer and continued to pay for the service.

Yesterday, I visited the Vodafone shop on Oliver Plunkett Street after Vodafone customer service specifically advised me to go to the shop for help.

I currently cannot access my Vodafone account, so I am unable to check my bills, data usage, call charges and other important account information. I have also tried to reset my password, but the verification code is not arriving.

Unfortunately, the customer service I received in the shop was extremely poor. The staff member who dealt with me came across as dismissive and uninterested in helping. She remained seated while dealing with me and made no real effort to find a solution.

What disappointed me most was that she simply told me she couldn't help me. She didn't try to contact customer service or look for another way to resolve the problem. I was basically sent away without any meaningful assistance.

I understand that shop staff may not be able to solve every technical or account problem, but I would expect them to at least make an effort to help, contact the appropriate department, or explain what I should do next. Unfortunately, none of this happened.

At this stage, this is no longer just about one disappointing visit to a Vodafone shop. After nearly two years of network and internet-speed problems, difficulty accessing my account, and now being unable to get meaningful assistance when Vodafone itself directed me to the shop, I have lost confidence in the service.

I am now seriously considering cancelling my contract and moving to another provider.

I have been a loyal customer for almost two years and believe I deserve better service and support.

Very disappointing overall. Vodafone needs to improve both its network service and the way customers are treated when they need help.

Themba from Vodafone Dundrum is really helpful and has provided us a good service in buying a phone.

We Went to Vodafone in Athlone today to enquire about my Husband getting an upgrade. We were met by the Assistant Manager Gaurav who was amazing to deal with. Not only did my Husband renew his contract with Vodafone for another 2 years and get his new phone he also renewed our broadband. Gaurav was so knowledgeable and nothing was a problem. He also sorted my Mams phone as she mistakenly went with Sky Mobile a year ago and it was nothing short of a disaster… no coverage and charges above the agreed amount every month. She is delighted to be back with Vodafone again. Gaurav gave a 5 star service and I would highly recommend people to just go into the shop as dealing with a person face to face is what we should be doing to keep job in our community’s and shops on our high streets open.
Well done Gaurav and Ollie ye are a super team. These guys remind me of the super service we received over the years from Sheila Reilly

Staff and service were excellent in Vodafone Limerick on OConnell Street. I was there for a while as I traded in my old phone and I could see how great all the staff were with customers. So patient, friendly, welcoming and helpful. They had kind words and a joke for everyone. Joe was particularly helpful to me. He helped set me up on my phone and talked me through everything. Thank you for everything.

My Father was in the store for an upgrade. He was told to move to sky and top up by a fiver and then to move back.. he was very confused and upset by this. He was dealing with Guarav. Why was he told to do this when he has been with Vodafone for years. This does not sound right and actually sounds like the sales person is doing something dodgy. My sister sent a mail asking about this but did not get a reply.

The app didn't work for upgrading my phone. I went into the store in Dundalk where it was listed online that the phone I wanted was in stock in the store. When I got to the store 10 minutes later the clerk was just trying to upsell me to a higher spec phone which was much more expensive and then trying to convince me to give my old phone as a trade in, even after I told him no multiple times. Then told me they didn't have the phone in stock I wanted. He seemed more concerned about making a commission than actually listening to what I wanted.

The online web chat was helpful, I spoke to Muhammad and Lawrence both of whom were helpful. But the in person experience was dreadful.
