I bought a 'merino' sweater. It arrived without any sizing label, care label or any identifying information...all breaches of ACCC guidelines. I chose the size from the sizing guidelines which were ri... See more

Tessa Bayside is NOW called RIRI…
Tessa Bayside is NOW called RIRI Boutique so whatever you do DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM AS THEY ARE SCAMMERS!
Scam company
Scam company! This is a cheap Chinese dropshipping business masquerading as a real store in Melbourne. They’re constantly having a “retirement sale” and apparently the owner, Tessa, recently changed her name to Riri - as you do - because it’s now called Riri’s Bayside. I assume the name change happened because they’re being reported. The bag I bought was advertised as leather but definitely wasn’t and it came from China, not Melbourne. They refused to honour the “easy returns” plastered all over the site and instead kept offering ever increasing amounts of store credit. I got my money back through VISA and reported them to Scam Watch, but nothing can be done because they’re an offshore business.
Scam. Cheap rip-off clothes that have no resemblance to the images on the site. Tessabayside.com is now using Ririboutique.com
I purchased a Women's Autumn Button-down Short Warm Vest Brown / 3XL for $84.95. What I received was absolutely nothing like the picture advertised. No replies to emails. They claimed to be based in Torquay, Victoria but the company was actually registered in Ireland. Tessabayside is now using Ririboutique.com as an online storefront with exactly the same products. I will review the vest I purchased separately.
TOTAL SCAM
TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT PURCHASE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
How they are allowed to trade is beyond words. This site should be taken down.
They are NOT Melbourne based.
There is NO contact number
You cannot contact them, by email but they will just laugh in your face.
There are NO refunds
If I could give a zero review I would
If I could give a zero review I would. I have never complained about a website before, but I would like to warn others about the poor quality and the misleading return policy. Website says contact details are in Melbourne so assuming returns are to ship to Melbourne, but they are to be sent overseas often costing more than the product. I noticed recently they have now changed their website name to Riri’s. Buyer beware.
This online store is a total scam
This online store is a total scam. There is no Tessa. She's a made up story to suck the buyer in. It's actually a Chinese company that sends out really poor quality crap and then won't let you return for a refund. So the return policy is total BS. It is now called Riri Boutique & it's the same online scam. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE STORES!!
This is a scam
This is a scam! The dress they sent me wasn't even a dress it was a pattern.
They refuse to give me my money back and they have now changed their name from Tessa’s to Riri
⭐ 1 STAR – BUYERS BEWARE! NOT THE AUSTRALIAN SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I WAS LED TO EXPECT!
I am extremely disappointed and upset by my experience with Tessa’s Bayside, and I feel compelled to warn other customers before they spend their hard-earned money.
Tessa’s Bayside presents itself as a Melbourne-based business, which gave me confidence that I was purchasing from an Australian retailer.
However, what customers should be aware of is that the company provided me with a return address in CHINA, not Melbourne!
This was an extremely unpleasant surprise. I believe customers deserve to know this information before making a purchase, particularly when they may be expected to pay international postage to return unsatisfactory goods.
I spent AUD $500 on products that, in my opinion, were of shockingly poor quality and nothing like the standard advertised on their website.
Despite repeatedly explaining my disappointment and offering to return every item unused, the company continues to insist that I either accept store credit or pay for international return shipping myself.
Why should I have to pay additional international postage to return products that I believe were misrepresented?
What makes this experience even more upsetting is the company's repeated refusal to address my concerns fairly. Instead, I continue receiving the same two options, with no meaningful attempt to acknowledge the disappointment and inconvenience caused.
I have now referred this matter to my bank for a formal dispute.
PLEASE THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING FROM TESSA’S BAYSIDE.
Do not assume that because a company advertises itself as Melbourne-based, your purchases and returns will necessarily be handled within Australia.
I sincerely wish I had known all this before placing my order.
I would never purchase from this company again, and I hope sharing my experience saves other customers from the same frustration, disappointment and financial stress.
I don’t even want to give them 1 star
I don’t even want to give them 1 star. The coat I bought looked gorgeous in their marketing photos. The absolute piece of rubbish I received would bear NO RESEMBLANCE at all to the images. I asked them for my money back and they offered me 10% off my next purchase! You have to be joking. This is an absolute scam - I will never buy online again and especially not from this company
Scam....product not at all like…
Scam....product not at all like described (fabric, colour).
Terrible communication. Still waiting on refund! Never buy from again.
BE WARNED!
Scam site
Scam site, with no option to return or exchange cheap low quality bad sized items they send you. Don’t respond to customer queries for weeks, after several weeks agreed to refund 30% and then ghosted my requests/emails. NOTE: they have started a new scam site with same retiring story now operating as ririboutique
DONT BUY FROM HERE
DONT BUY FROM HERE - ALSO NAME HAS CHANGED TO RIRI BOTIQUE - Shoes arrived and smelt like chemicals that could burn your eyes. Request refund and just been met with store credit or pay 24usd to return. lodged complaint with Fair trading.
DON’T SHOP HERE!
DON’T SHOP HERE!! Simple. It’s outrageous that they are still in business. The clothes are inferior, not true to colour and have no tags whatsoever so you have no idea what size you are getting.
And don’t get me started on a refund. There is no return policy unless you want to pay the postage to China. They offered 10% refund of my order. I have been waiting two months and still nothing in my bank account.
Terrible service and quality
Terrible service and quality. They pretend to be Australian based, but it is the cheapest quality and appears to be from China. Had the worst experience of trying to return the dress, and they made me ship it to China for $25 out of my own pocket. Biggest scam
Don't go near this company
Don't go near this company. I attempted several time to negotiate a refund and while they responded quickly and offered each time a further 10% up to 40%, I gave up as I thought I'd never receive it. This is because they were deceitful in the first place about the clothing as was advertised.
TESSA BAYSIDE SCAM has CHANGED its name…
TESSA BAYSIDE SCAM has CHANGED its name to
RiRI BOUTIQUE.. BE AWARE.
After 4 weeks of BS emails, they agreed if I returned the items to a scam shop in China I would receive a refund. Others who have done this noted -The items are Never accepted in China and so items are returned back to the you the sender.
I have Notified my bank, who created a case & also Scamwatch (ACCC), sending all information about the SCAM.
No stars if possible!!!
No stars if possible!!!! Never received product. No refund and atrocious back and forth emails wasting my time!!!
The quality of the fabric of the 2…
The quality of the fabric of the 2 shirts I ordered was very poor. There were no lables on the shirts, either fabric or sizing.
When inquiring about return I was advised that it would probably cost me too much to return and they would not supply a return address. They did have a 30 day return policy!!!!
Do not order from this company. They appear to be a Melbourne shop closing down but are based in Shanghi.
I just wish that I too had read the reviews before going down this "rabbit hole".
Julie
Do not buy from them !!!
Do not buy from them !!!!
Ordered from them 16/8 for amount $274.80
3 dresses and one sweater. The material is horrible not as advertised! Pictures on their website as AI generated and when you get products is poor cheap quality , colours don’t match and labels are not attached with sizing and etc… , they don’t want to refund money and they play ping pong games thru emails offering 30% cash back to keep the clothes , I want only refund back and they won’t give it to you then will play forever emails to send to Asia even they website says send back to Melbourne but they don’t want to give full Melbourne address. Also the website and photo headline changed from Tessa’s Bayside name to Riri Boutique. They are scam !!! And you won’t see your money back again !!!
