I paid 1100 dollars for 3 consecutive months of a starter microdose of 2.0.
There is no real doctor interaction , it seems based on AI and faulty readings and measurements.
Ive gained weight for over 30 days yet they advised to even take a lower dose .
Shipments are always late and doctors take many days to respond without any actual personal response just repeating the same statements.
I managed to lose 20 pounds in 9 weeks mostly through intermittent fasting and lots of exercise but not much help from hume health.
I feel they are there to maximum their profits by only giving microdoses and ignoring the actual customer needs.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do NOT Recommend.
The Bluetooth connection from the App to my scale stopped working. It worked for several months and then just wouldn’t connect. The data I had received I found interesting.
I purposely purchased a lifetime warranty on this specifically because of the Bluetooth and the data in the App vs. the scale.
The App lists no way to contact someone. I went snd put in a contact me on the website. I got an update mediate response. From there, this has gone extremely sour.
I then sent five emails and finally got a response. I was told to then ensure the scale connected to Bluetooth. It does not.
I requested a Warranty Claim — sent a second email nearly a week ago. No answer. Sent an additional email just now.
Who has the patience for such malarkey, especially when you purchase a LIFETIME warranty?
Terrible Customer Service
I informed the company on 10/18/2026 that i wanted to return my Hume Band 2.0 due to the battery percentage dropping 12-15% the very first day while claiming it had a 14 day battery life. For the price of this item I think it should stand up to the claims. I then received this message: Thank you for reaching out. This is an automatic message, so you don’t have to wait for us to ask for the details. Please reply to this email with:
• Your order number (starts with SHHUME# or HUMEDE#, in your order confirmation email)
• The email address and full name on the order
• Which product it’s about (Hume Band or Hume Pod) and a short description of what you need help with, with a photo if something is damaged or not working
A team member will pick it up from there. We’re handling a high volume of requests and replies are taking longer than usual, so having these details ready helps us move quickly. Please reply here instead of opening a new request, and if you’ve already sent this, you don’t need to send it again.
Regards,
Hume Health Support Team
8 days later I still had not received a response back. After which I chose to send it back via USPS Signature Confirmation. On 10/31 the package was delivered and signed for. Today is 11/4 and I still have not received any correspondence. I want my money refunded. It seems like this is the only way to contact the company. Order # is 1927639.
Terrible band
Terrible band, terrible customer service, terrible app. Just terrible! Avoid.
So sick of this
So sick of this. Been months trying to get my money back, even the bank is on the seller side. I need my refund for SHHUME#1872285

I have never heard of this company until I had a fraudulent charge of $252.03 on my debit, what a pain when you have to cancel your card and wait for a new one
Bad experience with Hume health band
When I got my hume health band I downloaded the app, synced it to my phone and the first thing it wanted to do was sell me an upgrade to premium as if $199 wasn't enough of an investment out of the gate.
I chose not to spend even more money on the upgrade to premium until I saw some value out of what I already paid for.
After a week of wearing the hume health band and seeing the band not able to tell me anything because it said it needed to calibrate. Finally, it started to show some numbers. However, most days it says it can't give me the daily brief because it didn't collect enough data. It also says it didn't collect enough data to assess my overnight sleep though i did wear it all night. For blood pressure it says elevated, not systolic and diastolic numbers you can look up and understand in a meaningful way.
As I know it, all I was supposed to do was wear the device all the time and including while i am sleeping and it is supposed to do its job. I don't wear it in the shower, or for the rare 1.5 hours needed to charge it, but otherwise, it is on my wrist.
Other metrics the band collects show a highlight target area and it gives you a number that makes no sense based on the target area or scale. For instance, one day it told me I only did about 1,670 steps. That same day I walked over 2 miles at my city's community track (meaning a measured distance), in addition to whatwever walking I did working all day and running errands, including going to the grocery store.
BTW, for those who don't know 1 mile is 5,280 steps so how could my entire day's total just be 1,670 steps.
Could it be because I didn't choose to immediately buy the premium upgrade? Could it be because it is a defective device? Who knows because I haven't heard back from their support people and their AI assistant on their website is useless for anything like this situation.
Bottom line, I am trying to return the device for a refund because I can't find value in it as it works now and don't want them saying I waited to long to be entitled to a refund.
Lastly, regarding their customer service and tech support responsiveness, I have sent several requests to their support people at support email address they have on the device paperwork and their website with details and am awaiting a response.
Btw, with most other companys if you send a request for support you usually get an immediate automated response stating they got your email and will follow up. Not so with hume health, but hopefully they respond to address my situation soon. If they don't respond, I will ask my credit card company for help and lodge complaints with the FTC and post more reviews on sites like this to keep other people from running into the same bad experience as me.
I bought my Hume band 2.0 a few weeks…
I bought my Hume band 2.0 a few weeks ago with the expectation to have among other things blood pressure readings as seen in the commercials and official information.
The fact of the matter is that the app is just shows a graph with unreadable ranges and no specific measurements. I'm totally disappointed and feel ripped off.
You pay for it, but they sell your info and you don't really own it.
I bought the Hume Pod expecting to own an intelligent device to help monitor health. Nothing I saw before buying told me it requires a Hume account to do anything beyond showing weight. The body-composition readings, which are the reason I paid for it, only appear in their app, behind their login.
That means two things:
1. Your body data lives on Hume's servers. This is a consumer product, so HIPAA doesn't protect it, and their privacy policy lists ad networks and retargeting platforms among the third parties they may share data with.
2. You don't really own what you bought. If Hume changes its terms, moves features behind a subscription, or shuts down, the hardware loses most of its function.
If you care about privacy or want hardware that works on its own, buy something else. I'm returning mine.

Ordered 3 weeks ago and still not delivered. Contacted Hume, told they know their service is poor but don’t send another email?
Money has gone out with nothing to show for it.
As a PT I won’t be recommending this to clients

Hume Pod scales are an absolute joke of…
Hume Pod scales are an absolute joke of a product. I am now on my second set after weeks of back and forth with customer service due to ongoing issues with recording weight incorrectly. The second set now has exactly the same issues, this morning for example one weight displayed a scales and recorded on main page of app yet a completely different weight recorded in the daily timeline. How is this supposed to give you meaningful insight or motivation? I have emailed customer service however, I cannot be bettered to enter another round of email tennis. I will look to invest in some scales that are fit for purpose. I can only imagine all the positive reviews are from people that received freebies or companies that received advertising revenue. AVOID and save your money.

**UPDATE
**UPDATE – November 3, 2026: Still No Refund or Warranty Replacement**
Six days ago, Hume Health publicly responded to my original review. Hannah, their Customer Success Manager(allegedly; I think this was an AI response), acknowledged the delays in handling my warranty request and admitted that my support ticket had been prematurely closed before the issue was resolved.
She stated that my case had been forwarded to their Billing team for further review.
**As of today, November 3, 2026, I have received neither a refund nor a replacement Hume Band.**
This is another acknowledgment without an actual resolution.
I have also encountered numerous Facebook comments from other consumers reporting similar problems with Hume Health products and customer support. Although I cannot independently verify their individual experiences, these reports are concerning.
At this point, I am requesting a full refund rather than another promise of internal review.
**A company's commitment to its customers is demonstrated by how it resolves problems, not by how many times it apologizes.**
My original review remains below as a record of what happened.

I have sent this company multiple emails about how the Pod is not working well for me. I need to get permission to send it back to the company for a refund. This scale is too expensive not to work as efficiently as advertised. I fear that I will either be ignored, or receive another email on how to troubleshoot. I want a refund before the 40 days since purchase is passed.

My third review after one month of…
My third review after one month of trying to get Hume to initiate the return their website clearly states. I've never experienced this degree of callousness, lack of respect for customers, and absolute subterfuge about the simplest thing - this is the email I received this morning. This is Hume's 'customer service' after spending 30 days trying to get them to give information to initiate a return. It's absolutely criminal how your company operates - this is the email I received this morning after being told by Hume that if I cancel my dispute they would initiate a return. I did, but it's apparently not enough. From the company: Thank you for following up. We sincerely apologize for the repeated delays and frustration you have experienced while trying to arrange this return.
We understand that you have contacted your bank to close the dispute. To proceed with your return request, we kindly ask you to obtain a formal chargeback withdrawal letter from your bank confirming that the dispute has been officially canceled.
For the letter to be accepted, it must:
Be on official bank letterhead.
Include the chargeback case number.
Confirm the original charge date and amount.
Identify Hume Health as the merchant.
State that the chargeback has been canceled.
Confirm that the funds have been re-debited from your account and returned to us.
Once you provide this confirmation, we can review the updated dispute status and proceed with the applicable return instructions.
We appreciate your cooperation and apologize again for the inconvenience.
Respectfully,
The Disputes Team

Hannah resolved my refund issue
This review is strictly for Hannah & her prompt resolution after my 1 star review.
Today I found my card had been refunded.
Thank you Hannah.
I had no issue with the scale. I realized it was something I wouldn’t use the first day.
I previously left a 1 star review due to being ignored by customer service and given false refund information as well. I couldn’t find a way to dispute with my HSA card.
Hannah emailed me shortly after that review was posted.
Hannah in her reply mentioned I hadn’t included tracking info. That’s because I returned it in person. There were two emails to customer service in which I mentioned I would do this. No one told me I couldn’t or not to.
I followed all the other return rules.
Hume Health can’t deliver as advertised
I made a mistake purchasing and would like to initiate a refund as advertised on their website. Wrote the customer service email and no response. Don’t put it up if it can’t be honored, otherwise this is just a scam business.

Watch not as free as they say!!
I must say I was excited to receive my Hume band and Pod. The idea of a health wearable without a subscription sound good. BEWARE: I feel like this is bait and switch. I do have access to the Hume App without subscription, with limited functionality, but they did not say in their adds that to truly gain much of anything from the band and pod you have to purchase a subscription to Hume Plus. So sounds better than it is, and definitely misleading in my opinion. BUYER BEWARE!!! It is a nice product though, just feel dupped.

This does not accurately monitor BP without a subscription. Or even with one. I bought this for my blood pressure. Can’t use it and have been trying to get a response on how to return it. They won’t respond!

Hume is not processing refunds after product is returned.
I returned my Hume Health product following the company's return process.
FedEx tracking confirms that the returned product was successfully delivered to the designated destination on October 13th. Despite this, I have still not received my refund.
The timeframe stated in Hume Health's published refund policy has already passed, and I have contacted customer support without obtaining a single response.
I have retained the FedEx proof of delivery, tracking information, return documentation and correspondence with Hume Health.
I am still giving Hume Health the opportunity to resolve the issue by processing the refund. I will update this review if and when the refund is completed.

I purchased both the band and the scale. while i found the feed back interesting i also found the band quality to be terrible. less than 30 days of use the velcro attachment has worn away on the band. to replace it it costs $49 dollars which i was willing to pay at first. when i went onto the website to purchase it stated it could not deliver to my address for any color chosen. Customer service was a bott to start with. no help. i received multiple emails from supposed other customer service with links to purchase with the band with the same undeliverable result. I gave up and decided to return everything. i was sent an offer to keep everything for a 20% refund which i accepted only to find it was store credit not a true refund. Poor Business Practices!!!!
