I find with Yodel it can be very Hit and Miss.. it all depends on the delivery drivers mood that day whether they can be bothered to follow instructions or not.

Not worth 1 star

Not worth 1 star. Help my package in Northampton 3 Days & still NOT OUT FOR DELIVERY.
Trak No. JJD0002232272652708. Contacted them, answer was it could take up to 48 hours to find it, then wait for scheduling.
ALL ROUND RUBBISH SERVICE. Worse than EVRI and that's saying something
At 1345 hrs I received a text saying Delivery between 1800 - 2000 hrs, it's now 2035 hrs NOTHING. I Rest my Case

⭐️ — Apparently the sign is invisible

Time and time again, drivers leave parcels directly on my front doorstep — underneath a large, clearly visible sign saying “PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE PARCELS ON FRONT DOOR UNATTENDED.”

It's difficult to understand how much clearer the instruction could possibly be.

The sign is there specifically to prevent parcels being left unattended, yet drivers repeatedly ignore it and leave deliveries in exactly the place they have been asked not to.

I appreciate drivers are busy and under pressure, but this isn't a complicated request. If nobody answers the door, please don't leave the parcel unattended on the doorstep.

The irony of repeatedly placing a parcel directly underneath a sign saying PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE PARCELS ON FRONT DOOR UNATTENDED would actually be quite funny — if it wasn't creating a security risk.

Perhaps next time I'll need a sign explaining where the sign is.

The worst courier ever

The worst courier ever. Absolutely no help. We move in to a house and you fail EVERY SINGLE DELIVERY I have not had one item delivered. Every time you make 3 delivery attempts and then fail to deliver the parcel. Disgusting service should be illegal, maybe 10+ packages at this point you have failed to deliver. I’ve called you several times, say the issue is fixed and it’s not. Your company should have to pay for my losses. This is damaging my business. Disgusting.

The parcel was delivered 2 doors away

The parcel was delivered 2 doors away! By chance my neighbour came out his front door at 8.30pm abd found it and delivered it to me! This is DISGUSTING service they didn't knock or ring his doorbell! Yodel being taken over by Inpost has NOT IMPROVED, COMPANY needs shutting down!

Absolutely useless.

Absolutely useless.

My parcels were supposed to be delivered on the 11.08. I had to ring to change my address as they couldn’t find the property. Then i kept getting out for delivery emails on the 12th, 13th and the 14th yet nothing, but every time you ring they will “assure you it’s going to be delivered. Then on the following Monday 17th they decide to tell me they can’t locate one of the parcels and were only notified about the other one needing an address change on the 15th. 3 days after they kept emailing delivery slots but rest assured “they will deliver it”

On twitter they will tell you it isnt lost, on live chat they will just disconnect you and over the phone they will tell you they can’t “locate a parcel, but cannot verify it is lost”. Then spout some nonsense about how they can’t verify it’s lost so i can’t ask the retailer for a refund and some Section 5 contract nonsense.

To add to this on the 19.08 they tell me its out for delivery but for a second week in a row the driver can’t find the house even though he was right next door to it

Useless company

Have been using Yodel for a while with…

Have been using Yodel for a while with no issues. I always arrange collection as it is hard for me to get around. Pickups was never a problem and always arrived.

Now, in the last week I have had 3 failed pickups with the driver putting it down to 'parcel not ready' which is a complete lie.

I have CCTV and nobody entered the car park, this has now happened 3 times in past week.

I will no-longer be using Yodel, and will start using Royal Mail or Evri who always arrive.

Should’ve gave zero

Should have given zero stars. In post does not care about vulnerable customers with neurodivergence, mental health or learning difficulties. They do not cater to that. Their staff clearly have no training

They used to be quite a good service

They used to be quite a good service, They have changed their systems so that the tracker no longer gives any useful information, only vague expressions that don't really reveal anything about the parcels journey.

Althernatively you can talk to an AI that doesn't seem to understand anything you ask it, then eventually passes you on to a representative that is just as helpful.

The service is slow, Parcels can sit at the local depot for days without being sent out for delivery.

The Website will tell you that the only way to get an estimated delivery window is to download their app and track from there, the app only has the same information as the website (so no ETA).

Alternative delivery options to deliver to a neighbour only lists a few presumably randomly selected addresses, and customer services cannot choose an alternative (or even one of the listed ones). The neighbour I wanted to choose is 3 doors down, but that isn't in their list.

They do not understand that delivering to a business address in an industrial estate at night time is not going to work.

The website continually tries to make you change your delivery to a locker.

Very basic functions that are available on EVRI, UPS, DHL and DPD are just not available here.

Unreliable and unhelpful

Unfortunately I have found them to be quite unreliable and for some reason they seem to have trouble finding my address. I also unfortunately gave ordered plants from a nursery that uses this service, if you can call it that. No other companies seem to have trouble with my address which is in a medium sized city, and because it’s a plant it will obviously will not survive this kind of handling. The funny thing is that they actually delivered a parcel to this address 2 days ago. Regrettably I will neither use YouGarden or Yodel by InPost in the future & I recommend you don’t either. Customer service totally unhelpful. Bad experience. Choose another company.

Revalation!

As previously said in my previous review, that Inpost can never find my address, and that I have been living in my home for nearly 24 years. Everyone else has always found my address.
Well earlier I had no option to go and pick my parcel up from a pick up place (a shop) 30 minutes away, I do not drive, and the nearest bus stop to get there is 15 min walk, so may as walk there and back, in the heat for an hour.
Well, the person working in the shop says every morning the driver opens his van and gives him all the parcels. That way the driver doesnt spend time going round to peoples homes. Just goes to his shop as the driver is lazy. I said after dropping off all the parcels to you he prob goes home.
The shop worker said the people who come in asking for their parcel have told him the same thing as I had, that the driver has said he couldnt find their address, the shop worker then said the driver lies.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. If you check online it says Inpost now to be used and that INPOST lockers are recognized. No this is wrong. I was given a code and QR via Temu which when I went to the Inpost locker didn't recognize it. Called Inpost customer service that was a waste of time as they said go back to Temu can't help!! Temu was adamant it was correct so emailed Inpost and although responded quickly for more info I have had nil response since. Went with Royalmail.

Left package unattended on doorstep on main road.

Deliverer rang the bell, placed the large parcel on my doorstep on a main road and left. I am told by a bystander he took a photo and left immediately. By the time i reached the door there was no sign of him along the road. If I had not been in the package is likely to have been taken. Very poor.

They have not delivered twice and now want me to do all the work for what they have been paid for !

Who do they think they are is this not taking money under false pretences.

No doubt I will get the same response to my 3rd bad review

I wish I could upload pics to show you just how inept they really are
