Not great
All I can say is we arrived at our destination when we were supposed to. However, the middle leg from Leeds to Manchester Victoria on the Northern line was awful! A two carriage train when it should have been four on a day one of the Manchester teams was playing at home. No seats, no where for luggage (we were going to the airport) and standing nose to nose with strangers. The staff did an amazing job in very difficult circumstances though.

Very easy to use.
It’s very easy to use the app
It’s very easy to find and book journeys. Tickets are available immediately and being able to add them to the Apple Wallet is very convenient
Unpleasant journey on Exeter to Waterloo line
The train from Exeter was full when I got on at Crewkerne on Sunday 09 August, there were only 3 carriages and it was late.
Had to stand till Andover, it was crazy, people crammed down isles, in the area around the loos. Really hot, air conditioning not working. Then the train terminated at Basingstoke and got on another train, fortunately managed to get a seat but others not so fortunate.
Missed my connection due to delay and late at destination.
Made claim on delay repay which was initially rejected because SW Trains gave incorrect information but agreed on appeal.
A most unpleasant experience. Can't understand why so few carriages used when so many people travelling to and from south west! Today's experience was better but still very busy with some people standing, more carriages needed with working air conditioning on this busy route please, and more regular trains.

I have used train line for nearly 5 years. I love the fact that they give you up-to-date train times platforms information. Very competitive prices. Easy to book and download tickets. Even a non tech guy like me.

Absolutely horrendous journey from Troon to Ayr 15th September. Every carriage was packed to an unbearable level and I had to stand for the entire journey - on 2 crutches! Awful service on a predicted busy day. Why were there no staff monitoring these packed carriages?

Unable to get refund for train cancelled last minute
In London the particular stop I was going to was cancelled as the train came into the station. App won’t let me submit a refund because I had ‘already scanned in’ despite being told on the app my journey was cancelled. The app or website won’t let me submit a refund request and there’s no ability to talk to anyone.
No problem with anything today

Always reliable
Never had any issues using Trainline to book tickets. I've printed them off AND used the online versions on my phone in the past, and it's always gone smoothly. Will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.
