Not planted this year's yet obviously - only just bought them. Interesting tulip varieties - some not available from other suppliers, good planting advice. I always use new pots and compost to give them the best start and avoid blight and I also plant very late- if last year's tulips reappear then that's a bonus - the narcissi usually do reappear.
I find the website navigation a bit flicky-up-and-downy in an annoying way and I think it could do with sorting out.

I ordered over 3000 bulbs, which mostly arrived together in 6 large boxes. Unfortunately the packaging was far too flimsy for the weight of the bulbs and the boxes arrived damaged and with the bulb bags hanging out. One large bulb bag of c. 200 bulbs arrived without any labelling and by a process of elimination I have made an assumption on what the bulbs are, but I won't know for sure until they come up in the Spring. The lack of care and quality control is disappointing and shocking.

I ordered and paid for tulip bulbs on the 30/9/2025. My order confirmation states that all bulbs would be delivered in early October. I have waited 4 weeks and only part of my order has been delivered. Not a word of explanation or apology. To add insult to injury there are also some bulbs among those I have received that are clearly not viable.
I've lost all patience and would like to have my money refunded. I've tried to find a way to contact Sarah Raven, but it appears they have made it as difficult as possible to get in touch with them. Absolutely appalling customer service!

I have been ordering plants for my garden and vegetable seeds for my allotment for quite a few years now from Sarah Raven. I do usually wait for the discounts and hope I’m lucky but usually they sell out in the blink of an eye because all Sarah plants arrive healthy, strong and you just know nothing will die on you. You get exactly what it says on the package, with full planting instructions and ideas as to what your plant looks good next to, where to plant it in the garden and a wealth of knowledge. Sarah Raven’ product are the best on the market.

Bulbs arrived promptly, but have found one collection - "Shane Connolly's Delightful Duo (30No. Doll Minnet & 30No. Verona Sunrise) included three not two varieties, 20No. each of the described, plus 20No. of Sarah Raven. Also one of the bulbs was soft & rotten.
It would have been helpful to have been notified if there were insufficient of the described bulbs.

My bulb order arrived quickly and bulbs appeared to be very good quality. My only gripe is that one of my tulip collections (Jemima’s tulip mix) were all mixed in the same bag rather than individual packets so I couldn’t arrange them properly in my pots and it’s perfectly possible that one pot has all of one variety in it because there was no differentiating between the bulbs. Please please put each type of bulb in its own small packet.

Had to chase twice to find out where the order was, which was then cancelled due to failed quality checks.
The website said an estimated delivery mid-october, a notification should really be made as soon as there's an issue - you shouldn't have to chase a cancellation refund.

Foxgloves take 2 years to flower.
Mixed options, I bought foxglove I late autumn a few years back and these flower beautifuly the following year. I had done the same thing last year, purchased lots of foxgloves, some arrived in poor state and it was hard to get in touch with their Cs but got replacements in the end. Some plant still didn't survive, the top wasn't attached to the root but I was told it is norlam (weird) in the end the ones that survive didn't flower this year so I was told I shouldn't expect them to flower this year but the following! So if you purchase your plants now these won't flower next year but in two years. These are other suppliers that will ship you plants ready to flower next year.

Very disappointed with the quality of my plants. One was received already dead and the other 2 are on their way out not sure they will revive.

Purchased 3 bulb planters. One waa smashed on arrival, a second I later discovered had an hairline crack. Reported immediately. Had a automatic response then nothing...abysmal customer service compated with all their competitors...won't use again

Ordered small white aconitum flowers. Turned out to be blue - in a white border. the only compensation that was offered was a refund of the original cost which is hardly sufficient seeing as I have been growing these on for 6 months.

Bulbs perform beautifully when you can get them. Not for the first time my order of bulbs, placed early to ensure best selection was lost in transit. My email to customer service was totally ignored for days. Eventually contacted their chatroom as you cannot speak on the phone and was told the order was lost and the ones I ordered were all sold out. Not offered an alternative. Disappointing and would not recommend
