So many things

So many things, far too many to mention.

Someone will one day make an alternative that works well, and I will watch with satisfaction as windows burns to the ground

Terrible

Terrible, greedy corporation. I seriously cannot believe they have gotten this bad over the years. Just a bunch of money hungry executives who do not care about you, just your wallet. What’s with the constant updates that “fix” things that don’t need fixing and just end up breaking them??
Don’t even get me started on their laptops/PCs! Just A bunch of overpriced products that have a very short lifespan. and, if you get the shit end of the stick? your pc gets locked behind a bitlocker screen requiring you to find your recovery key. the kicker: the only way to see it is by going to your account page and on the manage page which does not load at all, rendering the product YOU BOUGHT WITH YOUR MONEY unusable.

I suddenly started not being able to…

I suddenly started not being able to use Microsoft Excel even tough I have been paying the subscription. I tried everything but it still isn't recognising the account. Meanwhile I was trying to solve the issue, it suddenly charged me again eben tough it isnt the payment date. Such a disgusting firm, disgusting corporate management.

Built-in tools are hot garbage

What should have been a simple partition action turned into an hours long cavalcade of horrors and frustration, for a task I have done many times before.

I should not need to buy a higher edition of an operating system or rely on third-party utilities to have basic control over hardware I own.

Managing storage, repairing the system, and recovering from problems should be core operating system responsibilities. Instead, Windows frequently provides limited tools that handle only the simplest scenarios, leaving users to search for third-party software, obscure command-line solutions, or paid utilities to perform ordinary maintenance.

The problem is not a lack of advanced enterprise features. This is about basic ownership: if I own the PC, I should have reliable built-in tools to manage my own disks and recover my own system.

When the built-in tools fail or are incomplete, the burden falls on the user to become a system administrator just to perform routine tasks. That is not a good user experience.

Its beyond time to ditch the corporate operating systems. Yes Linux can have a steeper learning curve, but its worth it to not have to fight your OS every step of the way.

I subscribed to Microsoft Copilot Pro…

I subscribed to Microsoft Copilot Pro expecting full access to the image generation features, especially since the plan clearly states you receive 60 monthly credits. What isn’t made clear before paying is that you still face a strict daily limit, meaning you can’t actually use the credits you paid for whenever you want. This feels misleading and unfair. The system gives the impression of flexibility, but in reality it restricts you to around 15 images per day, even as a paying customer. I cancelled recurring billing because the experience didn’t match what was advertised. Microsoft needs to be far more transparent about how Copilot Pro actually works.

The worst part is that the limit resets only once per day, and even then the reset time is inconsistent. Some days it resets late, leaving me unable to work even though I haven’t used my full allowance. For anyone who relies on image generation for creative or business purposes, this daily cap makes Copilot Pro unreliable and frustrating.

If Microsoft wants people to trust this upgrade, they need to be transparent about the limitations and remove this restrictive daily cap. As it stands, Copilot Pro does not deliver the freedom or flexibility you expect from a paid service.

I have been trying to recover my outlook account for several months already but it's always unsuccessful. Your Microsoft helper doesn't really help. It always say that your request is being reviewed but it seems that it is set to auto-reject.

Learn Linux because Microsoft is OVER

Microsoft's negligence is completely unacceptable! My computer was hacked in 2022 by Bitcoin miners who had full access to my OneDrive, personal photos, and Microsoft files for four years! I reported it repeatedly to their support team and they did nothing. Microsoft's negligence is completely unacceptable team and they did nothing. Absolutely nothing! Now the hackers have changed my password and PIN, locking me out of my own computer, forcing me to factory reset everything. This company has ruined my data and wasted years of my life with their pathetic security and zero customer care. Do not trust Microsoft with anything important. They couldn't care less about their users. Disgusting service. I want compensation and I want answers" - by the way, I live with my brother and I am using his PC - unreal

Fix this.

Hello. I wrote this review for one reason. And if you want to know that reason, it's greed. I've owned an Xbox
Since Christmas with zero problems whatsoever. And then July came. I've made a friend in Minecraft, and I've wanted to join him super DUPER badly when he was active. It was like trying to get a piece of candy when you were 5. And then, DEPRESSION. I've looked for every possible way to join and then discovering the gamepass. I cannot believe that you need to PAY 10 DOLLARS A MONTH TO JOIN A FREIND!! Please fix this fix this Microsoft. You're basically destroying the Minecraft community.

Thanks to Microsoft for shielding criminal activity by blocking emails sent to "abuse@" addresses.

It protects hosting providers and administrators of platforms, sites, domains, etc., against reports of spam, phishing, and other issues sent to "abuse@" email addresses. It amounts to deliberate complicity—while victims see their lives ruined!

"We couldn’t deliver your message to several recipients.
A custom mail flow rule created by an administrator on nrtccoop.onmicrosoft.com blocked your message.
Offensive words

A mail administrator on nrtccoop.onmicrosoft.com created a custom mail flow rule that blocks messages meeting certain conditions. It appears that one or more of these conditions were met in your message.
Review the text above to see a custom message from the mail administrator explaining why your message was blocked and how you can resolve the issue. For example, removing prohibited words or sending the message from a different email account might be enough to get your message delivered.
If you have tried to resolve the issue without success, consider contacting the mail administrator at nrtccoop.onmicrosoft.com for guidance. Although it is unlikely that the administrator will remove or relax the rule, they may be able to tell you how to proceed to get your message delivered if it is legitimate."

Omg why is this SUCH a bad system given they have tons of money?
Super awkward to sign up, no way of actually signing in on my mac after I bought the subscription. Then to sign in you can only do so with a security key which you dont get given, or a QR code which you can only use if you already have microsoft. They should just start everything from scratch really.

I am a victim of a violent police assault in Germany, and Microsoft is actively locking me out of my life.

I am a victim of a violent police assault in Germany, and Microsoft is actively locking me out of my life. On June 26, 2026, Mannheim police illegally took my phone, which holds my 2FA security codes. I provided Microsoft with official medical assault reports, my passport, satellite logs proving the police has my phone, and highly specific account details.

The response from Microsoft Support? "Not enough info" lol.

By ignoring official legal documents and refusing to restore my access, Microsoft is protecting criminals and freezing a disabled victim out of his own life. Answer my official support requests.

Microsoft doesn’t even deserve one…

Microsoft doesn’t even deserve one star. I was billed for over $100.00 for a service even though they did not notify me the program was up for renewal. Not only that…. I wasn’t notified that they are no longer supporting the laptop! So, they billed me for a program they know I can’t use, because they don’t support my laptop anymore.

I contacted Citibank and they are allowing them to bill me, because Microsoft’s policy does not allow you to cancel any of their services if you try to cancel after the renewal date. Again… they didn't notify me the program was up for renewal!

Not sure if the exact date, but I noticed the charge when I went to pay my Citibank Card.

Support is a hellish experience

Support is a hellish experience, no less so for small business customers.

Delays to fault finding, diagnosis and resolution from MS due to issues with the tooling the Support team have been provided with.

Support team not reading updates to support tickets that they have requested. Support team not responding to updates.
