IOS 26/27 UPDATE OVERHEATING PHONES!!!!

Since the last update iOS 26 and iOS 27 beta has resulted in my Phone becoming almost unuseable I am on an old iPhone 11 Pro Max which was working perfectly well before the last update since that update my phone constantly heats up regardless of the temperature or how much or little use I’m putting on it Apple assured people that though the iPhone 11 is their oldest model currently supported it would work fine this is obviously not the case. I have now Phone which is unuseable yet again Apple are letting loyal customers down. I have tried every option to rectify the problem including a complete reset after backing up the Phone if the update was not compatible with older working iPhone models why did Apple allow it to be installed? Very very disappointed?

I wish Apple would reintroduce the…

I wish Apple would reintroduce the iPod. I rang them a while ago and they said the iPhones do the same thing.

Yes, iPhones do the same thing, but when you are enjoying music it is blocked out when a phone call comes in or a message arrives on google or other social media.

You can listen to music on an iPod without any interruptions.

I have an iPod which is old and doesn’t do what it should, such as listening to playlists in order.

Apple did suggest using an old iPhone which I am doing, but there are difficulties doing this.

Paid for diagnosis, promised a callback, completely ignored.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided. I brought in my Apple Watch Ultra 2 which suffered a complete screen failure despite having zero physical damage, scratches, or signs of misuse. On top of that, another Apple Watch I own had the exact same display defect.
I was made to pay a 100 MYR fee just for a service report, only to be told no exceptions could be made. To make matters worse, during my call on Tuesday, the representative assured me that my disappointment and case would be escalated and that someone would contact me. It is now Sunday, and I have received zero follow-up.
Charging customers for a diagnosis on a premium device with a clear hardware issue, promising a follow-up, and then completely ghosting them is terrible customer support.

The Apple App Store is full of scam…

The Apple App Store is full of scam games, games that falsely advertise.
Apple needs to purge heir App Store of these scams.
The game, Arrow Beyond Darkness tells you after completing level 13, you can withdraw your winnings. When you try, it then tells you need $40,000 to be able to make a withdraw.
If you are interested in these games that “offers cash”, save your time energy!

Love!

Ahmed from Apple Technical Support Canada was wonderful today. He was patient, kind, and genuinely attentive while helping me with my MacBook Pro, Bluetooth and headphone setup, and making sure I reached the right Apple team for the remaining questions. I really appreciated how comfortable and supported he made me feel throughout the conversation.

Appalling customer service

After visiting the Apple Store on Regent St to buy a MacBook it was not in stock. We paid and ordered it online for collection at the Battersea store the same day. My son spent 4hrs in the store as the QR code he needed to show to collect it didn’t work. He was told to phone a number and get a new QR code. He did this and every time the new code didn’t work. He eventually left the store with no MacBook despite having paid for it! Lengthy phone calls to California and then UK Apple staff have proved to be a waste of time. Appalling service!

Review: Deceptive App Store billing traps and terrible customer service.

Review:
I am extremely disappointed with Apple. Their App Store checkout system contains a massive billing trap that actively hurts consumers. The app "Photoroom" displays a full-screen banner loudly advertising a "7-Day Free Trial" with a massive blue "Continue" button. Because the screen screams "free trial," I confirmed the download.
However, because a family member had tested a trial on this Apple ID in the past, Apple’s system silently bypassed the trial and instantly stole £69.99 from my bank account without a single dynamic warning on the payment screen.
When I reached out to Apple phone support and submitted their formal appeal forms to cancel immediately, human agents gave me the run-around and flatly refused to help, stating "policies are policies." Apple is actively facilitating misleading third-party app layouts, pocketing consumer money instantly, and hiding behind automated scripts to deny refunds. They have completely lost my trust. Total scam behavior from a trillion-dollar company.

Decent hardware, let down by AI slop + AI spyware

Lose apple intelligence. People HATE this stuff. Why would i want something constantly grinding my CPU and GPUs all day examining and inspecting all my personal files, and uploading god knows what. I literally have to firewall off apple systems, because the OS can't be trusted.

It can't really be turned off. It can't be removed. It's just there spying on you 24/7.

It's downright creepy frankly. Remove that rubbish, it doesn't benefit us in any way it just annoys us all day long and drains system resources and wears out the SSD.

Apple Upper West Side not customer friendly

Sep 4, 2026
Megan & PJ two so called Managers at Apple Upper West side know nothing about customer service and everything about offending and blaming customers for in store bad customer service policy. They both did nothing to resolve the issue and did everything to blame me as the problem. I rely on in person help from staff for a transition/upgrade to a more current device...from purchase to transfer of all information and review to make sure all is working correctly. As soon as the credit card cleared(just under $800)my sales rep was told to take his break. I was left waiting for a download and to review the system own my own. I found arep and demanded a refund and left the store. I called apple support they apologized and contacted the store and told me a manager would be in touch. Three weeks later, I called and insisted on being connected to the store and in progression by the managers named above I was told Apple reps are not required to download and assist with devices after purchase and then I was not welcome back to their store. Evidently I am the problem. Why is it not surprising a company w top corporate management that donates millions to the corrupt orange clown to do business would hire inept jerks who blame the customer as the standard for "customer service"

Worst Service Experience Ever at Apple…

Worst Service Experience Ever at Apple iCare HSR Layout

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Apple iCare HSR Layout. It has been more than 2 months, and they are still unable to resolve my issue. Despite repeated follow-ups, there has been no proper resolution or clear communication.

What makes the experience even worse is that they have called me four times unnecessarily, only to tell me to come after another 1–2 hours. Every time, I’m made to wait or asked to come back later without any proper solution.

The overall handling is completely unprofessional and feels like they are simply wasting the customer's time. After waiting for more than two months, I have very little confidence that I will ever get my product back or that my issue will actually be resolved.

Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had. If you value your time and expect basic accountability and communication, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before dealing with this service centre.

Faulty gift card activation code

I purchased $100 worth of gift cards at two different shoppers drug Mart. Both cards when the sticker on the front was removed had part of the activation code missing. I have been dealing with Apple since May 4, 2026. Today it is September 3, 2026. I have spoken to 17 different people and sent photos of the cards the packaging the activation slips and the original receipts 12 times to them. Yet again they have not bothered to reach out to me at all. I will have to call them and then talk to somebody who tells me they can’t help me because my complaint is now resting with a different set of people who do not have a phone that I can call to. They have already told me that they are not gonna honour one of them and are still looking at the other. This is ridiculous since I have showing them every receipt and card that they’ve asked for and this problem is of their manufacturers making. I highly recommend nobody ever buy a gift card because these turds will not honour their commitment.

I bought a card in good faith at 11:58…

I bought a card in good faith at 11:58 AM yesterday morning. I got it home took the package apart. Of course the car just fell out. It was already scratched off. I have sent all the required information to the company and when my son called to check on it. They said I had already scratched it too hard. I did not scratch it at all. It was already done when I got it. I’ve explained this several times and I’m still saying maybe 7 to 10 business days for your $200 that you gave us in good faith I am losing all trust in apple and apple products. I’m 69 years old. I did not scratch it off I’m not stupid. I always scratch off when I buy them very very carefully. I don’t make that kind of a mess and they don’t usually just fall out of the package as soon as you open, but they’re giving me crap about it saying it was scratched off too hard. Well I didn’t do it I just want someone somewhere to understand that I need my money back and I’m not gonna quit. It’s unfair when I sent them everything I had and as I said when my son called the check, they told me I’ve been scratched too hard, but I’m not the one that scratched it I can’t approve it. I was home alone, but I’m so very careful when when I scratched those off and there wasn’t anything to scratch left on that card it was tore up mess. That’s became my fault. It’s not. I want my money back without all this BS and nobody telling me what’s going on.

Greedy mean Apple

Apple music mean for punishing people for canceling their subscriptions. They is very known for this. Erase my review off their platform just makes them look worse. Just greedy nickel and dime. Image paying thousands of dollars for their devices and services and get treated like crap. Use your storage for heavy updates and you cannot download nothing on to your device no way to delete old updates. They erase your playlists and songs if you can no longer pay their subscriptions. This is why I rather buy music. They tried to lock people out of their music account by putting a paywall so people cannot access their purchase music even music that was uploaded to their platform that I bought elsewhere and was sync from my computer. Greedy got to pay every month for warranty for each item just in case my tablet stops working or phone and if you skip a month because God forbid you got to eat they take away your warranty as if you was able to use their services just nothing them for nothing. I for real when I said I’m never buying another apple device. I use my motorola phone more either way. Going for other music apps some is less than apple price.

This company is extremely manipulative…

This company is extremely manipulative and expensive. I wish there were better and cheaper brand then Apple.
First you buy an expensive device, then they ask you to pay for storage, and more. If you want to download some apps, you need higher iOS. If your device get older, you need to get new one after few years, because is impossible to download some apps on older device. In my case I need to buy new device, to be able download some apps I need. Scary, that these days we have such a manipulative and controlling system in any given form.
