Fold 7, opened 10 times before it broke.
Absolutely appalled by my experience of the new Fold 7 phone and the total denial of liability, despite worldwide growing evidence that the Fold 7 has a massive fault. That is when you open up the phone, the screen cracks and then Samsung blame you for misuse. I had my phone a week, they can check as the phone has a battery charge counter, and mine was up to 5. The screen cracked on opening so I took the phone to my local Samsung Experience Store for warranty repair, They denied the claim outright saying I had damaged the screen. Yet the phone was, and still is unmarked. I escalated the damage to the store manager who took photos of the damage to send to corporate. Within an hour he rang me to say head office had denied the claim, and did I want to pay £650 to get it repaired..........so many people on so many forums and in groups have experienced the same issue with the same denial of liability and voided warranty. Please stay away from this phone, as when it does break you will be left high and dry. One other thing I have been a Samsung customer for many many years since the Galaxy S4. I still have a Fold 4 which has been bullet proof(which I am now back using)But that is Samsung and I finished now. Time to move on and spend my hard earned cash on another brand.
After reading the reply from Samsung it becomes clear they are not interested with the response reading like a generic one................and they still insist I broke the phone by actually using it as described, by opening it. You couldn't make this up. I actually have a Fold 4, so I do know how to open one . ..............So let me make this very clear.. The screen cracked when the phone was opened, nothing was dropped on it, nothing was done it it, the screens failed due to a manufacturing fault, which is meant to be covered under warranty. This fault is now getting very well documented all over the world, check forums, Facebook groups and YouTube for examples. Isn't it strange the phones crack in the same way, worldwide and Samsung denying all warranty claims. Samsung must be telling the technicians to deny claims at all costs, which is immoral. The full truth about these phones will come out. I just wish I would have read the reviews before buying one.
