Literally just joined Smarty a few minutes ago just had the email to say its activated.I spotted a major problem with speed that needs sorting out on wifi i got 596.2mbs on Smarty mobile only 48.7mbs
Terrible network, no customer service to deal with issues, mostly a poor signal and they try taking extra money out of your account it’s called ‘doubling up’ apparently.
Avoid!
The ability to flex up and down on different months is really useful for my SIM as I'll only be using when I'm travelling. Great value for money.
Easy transfer from my previous network of 21 years. Knew the network would be good as those years were with Three 🤗
Great value for money and so flexible.
Switching was easy after over 20 yrs with 3 mobile.
The app is so straight forward and easy to manage and understand.
Went from physical sim to esim so wasnt sure how that would work. Once had confirmation of the transfer pulled out the physical sim and made the esim primary one. Then restarted my phone making and everything just worked perfectly
Signal wise same as when was with 3, as read somewhere Smarty is part of 3 and uses their masts and Vodafone ones now. So signal great and zero issues
The signal is not strong sometimes but amount of date is huge and price is very good
Good value for money but reception is very hit and miss at times
Smarty gives value for money good signal and a good service great all round good company
Smarty seems to work well in most places, but unfortunately it doesn't really work well inside my home. There are only a few places indoors where it works.
Struggle getting on smarty site to top up...keeps asking for password saying it's wrong....& Finding data needs topping up regular...when we only use it for our caravan for data WiFi...
The phone does not ring and has not rung since the service was dos continued. All volumes are turned up maximally.
There is a register of an incoming call but no ringing.
Please look into the matter.
Thank you.

Whilst it offers a very competitive rate for UK users in addition to free usage in the EU, unfortunately it's not compatible with other eSIMs when travelling outside the EU and they force you to buy their own add on data. When I was with EE, using other eSIMS in non-EU countries was working absolutely fine.

I have changed my plan yet you are still charging me monthlyfor the old plan and the new one. Complete joke phoned 3 times and no one can find the old plan to stop the payment

I like that smarty has been nothing but consistent with my payment plans and always restarting my plan at midnight each month. But i don't like how the mobile data connection keeps dipping every few seconds. The data is really bad on this provider. And it will not let me connect to 5g automatically, even though there is a 5g tower right next to my house. The mobile data is the worst thing about smarty. And maybe you could reward the customers with freebies such as Bluetooth headphones, speakers, and maybe even free phone upgrades after a full year of being a pay as you go member, just to draw in more loyal customers!. The key solutions would be fix your inconsistent mobile data spikes. Give us access to free tech that can be used with our phones. And maybe even offer free phone upgrades for members that have paid for a year!.

Ease of signing up value for money and not being tied to a contract
