Excellent and relatively unknown software house Adlice provide some useful and performant apps. One of them is Adlice Protect (formerly RogueKiller) and I have used it for years as a supplementary level of protection for the business I work for. A full scan on a slow computer stuffed to the gills with software over the years, takes just 15 minutes. It has found stuff that other professional AV products have missed. Thoroughly recommended.

Order was very professionally handled. The 2 items did cause me confusion in terms of payments going through PayPal and the delivery of these items on different days. However, it all arrived eventually and I was charged the right amount, so no complaints.

Great rates. Easy to use service. The only problem I've ever had is on the rare occasions a transaction hasn't gone through, it doesn't tell you it hasn't worked, and you have to go scurrying to your account to see if the money has been withdrawn by XE. 🤷

OrbitRemit have always performed well and got me the best exchange rates over the many years I have used them. Nowadays, they seem to get the funds into the accounts even more quickly, usually within a few hours of initiating the transaction. Great service.

Excellent service and always a satisfying result when last minute changes to already complicated arrangements were made. Great boiler which seems to handle the workload effortlessly. Quiet in operation and seems sturdy and safe. You pay a bit more, but it's worth the money for its 8 year manufacturer guarantee, and reliable operation.

This new store recently opened up in Wealdstone, was small and friendly and not too busy. The staff were very helpful and friendly, almost amiable! The service was excellent and the glasses were ready before they said they would be. The only snag was the price - for auto-tinting, anti-reflective vari-focals with Balman frames (granted, the most expensive option they do), it was quite expensive! But one's eyes are worth every penny :-)

Once you are set up, sending money couldn't be easier. MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS THOUGH! The bank credit reference must have their reference number on it. Apart from that, everything is smooth. You get 3 emails telling you what stage the transfer is at - New Payment Submitted, Funds Received, Funds Paid. Start to finish is usually less than 24 hours. Good exchange rates, reliable delivery, and secure website make OrbitRemit the choice for me. Not all countries supported, for example UK to Japan is not supported, but UK to Philippines is.

I have been with plusnet for over a year now, and have had a good experience with them until recently. About a month ago, they spent a lot of money on getting new customers through TV advertising (who can forget the spoon-whittling woman in the woods!). They must have attracted a lot of custom because my service went downhill fairly swiftly afterwards. I rang and complained and they tried to move me to a less contended connection. However, the IP address I got was blacklisted which caused more problems. Eventually, I got them to give me a static IP that wasn't blacklisted and all was well for a month, and then, on Friday I had no phone lines or broadband. I reported it after a 30 minute wait to get through to customer service, and was told that this was an OpenReach problem and that it should be fixed by Thursday. Today is Monday and my daughter has used all of her data allowance, and has threatened to continue using data because she knows the bill is in my name! I managed to get plusnet to send me an email stating that they would reduce my bill for each day I am without service, but there is no way they can pay for extra data usage incurred on mobiles and tethered hotspots. This is really bad and plusnet need to lessen their reliance on the BT infrastructure. BT are in a position where they can hurt their rivals by surreptitiously sabotaging lines they have leased to others because they control OpenReach who maintain those lines.

Addendum - Wednesday, an engineer came to the house and found a spider had laid eggs in the cable. When they hatched, the disconnect occurred! It is now fixed, and I have changed the review to 3 stars because they did get it all fixed reasonably quickly, but it's 3 because the customer service centre took at least 30 minutes of hold before you could talk to someone.

Usually nearly always up and running, with some great insights into what is at an IP address, this site is heartily recommended.

I have now used Orbit Remit twice, and I have been very satisfied with the way business has been transacted both times. The exchange rates have been noticeably higher than other methods of transferring funds. The first time my fee was waived and the second time, it was a mere £5. Excellent value for money, especially when transferring large amounts.

I got 3 different quotes and they all arrived on the same day, enabling me to make a decision within ther day, as to who to use for the part. My first choice had a problem and refunded my money. My second choice was superb and the part is fitted and working perfectly.

Ordered a couple of large boxes of pads. They arrived promptly and well=packaged. Product is as expected. Perfect service. Good website.
