In General it works but often issues with damage Packages and Adress Issues. Well the last point ist not the Problem of DPD but they are not flexible to change something.

Always happy with the delivery. They care about your parcel, never pretend you were not at home.

I cannot put less that 1 star

I cannot put less that 1 star, otherwise I would have done it!
I was waiting for a delivery at home, and so I didn't move from my house only to receive the parcel.
I then received an email saying that they had come by at a specific hour but hadn't found anyone, which is not true at all!
Worst: they have delivered the parcel in a pickup point that is temporarily closed, so now I can't collect my parcel!
Very very POOR SERVICE!

Avoid at all costs

The delivery people do not ring the bell. Instead, they take a quick photo and give your package to random shops in other towns pretending that you were not at home. The result: loss of time, loss of money. Terrible service, terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs.

False delivery attempt – no doorbell, no contact

On March 2, 2026, a delivery was scheduled to Rue Posschier 2, 1040 Etterbeek (shipment number: 84180000545145).

I was at home at the time, yet the driver did not ring the doorbell or attempt to contact me in any way. Nevertheless, I received a notification stating that delivery was not possible.

This is clearly inaccurate and unacceptable. No delivery attempt was made, and the information provided is misleading. Customers rely on accurate tracking and proper service, which was not the case here.

DPD should ensure that drivers actually attempt delivery before marking parcels as undeliverable. This experience was very disappointing.

No attempt to deliver the parcel at…

No attempt to deliver the parcel at all. They took it to a depot 8 km away. (We are not mobile).
They can return it to the sender. We will file a legal claim against the supplier for 'failure to deliver the product' and inform the sender that we will discontinue using their service.
It's been the same with DPD for many years and just gets worse! They send mails with links that don't work. Claim that WE are at fault! And fail to make any attempt to improve. Mafia or incompetents? Who knows!

Not for the first time...no attempt at delivery just 'come and pick it up from us a few miles away'. Since that's not convenient and not what I paid for, the package goes back to sender and the vendor loses a customer.
These people are (around here, anyway) TERRIBLE!

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could, I am at the point that if I see DPD as the delivery service for an online purchase I just don’t make the purchase.
Their employees lie each single time and refuse to arrive to your address to finish their delivery, they will just reroute everything to the closest pick up point and call it a day. DPD also offers one of the poorest customer service I have ever seen where filing a complaint is borderline impossible.
My latest adventure with DPD not only had them not show up to my address but also now there is no updates anymore on my package as it seems lost or misplaced.
Honestly their whole operation almost seems fraudulent, you pay them to deliver something at your home and instead you always have to go pick it up yourself at a point of their choice.

Edit: somehow on the website it shows 60%+ of positive reviews for them in the summary yet when you go read the reviews they are almost all negative with 1 or 2 stars, I would not be surprised if they were manipulating their rating too, when in the habit of lying to the customer it’s hard to trust anything.

Worst shipping service that I've had

Despite being at home the entire day, the DPD driver did not come to my address. I received no delivery attempt notice, and the parcel was redirected to a pickup point without my permission. The pickup location assigned was not the one I had selected as my preferred option.

When I arrived at the assigned pickup point at 12:50 PM, the staff member present (an elderly man) told me the store was closed. When I asked when it would reopen, he shouted, “Never again, I stopped.”

Worst service

Worst service ever. My parcel is delivered to a pickup point 100kms away from my address. Tracking updates in DPD website and app are misleading and not correct. It's confusing. No customer care support exists.
I went to my pickup point shop and they confirmed that they are not closed and there is enough available space for packages. The worst company

DPD changed my delivery address without…

DPD changed my delivery address without reason, just for their convenience.

I called to my pickup point shop and they confirmed that they are not closed and there is enough available space for packages.

Now my package is unreachable, across the town. They expect me to just go and take it myself from there.

Worst delivery service. Stay away from them! This is not first time for me.

If you can, avoid DPD

I ordered a parcel with delivery at a delivery spot in Woluwe Saint Lambert (Brussels). In the morning of the expected date, I got a mail saying that the parcel will be delivered in a different spot in another area of Brussels (Schaarbeek). FInally, few hours later, I got a mail informing me that the parcel was delivered at a village (Yvoir) 90 kms away from Brussels!!!
So, at the end, I drove 90kms (+ 90 return) to go and collect the parcel...
This is what I call a very poor service. I put 2 stars (and not 1) because the person I spoke to on the phone, was very kind.

Worst logistics company

First, your delivery person didn't leave my package at the pakketpunt promised time or date; I've been waiting for 4 days now
Second, the pakketpunt - Ellerweg 1D is not operated anymore. It's permenantly moved to Begijnhofweg 7 (Begijnhofweg 7, 6037 RJ Kelpen-Oler) - I had to ask someone to get a new address.
Third, your company didn't update the state of Pakketunt on Google map nor DPD website. Waste my time and money
Forth, My package didn't arrive yet my premise. I don't know when I can get it
Fifth, your call centre is terrible communication there is nothing to do at all.

Overall

Overall, the delivery service was good. I liked receiving notifications with clear delivery time windows it made planning my day much easier. The delivery staff were friendly and professional, and my package arrived on time at the correct address.

That said, there were a few small issues. The notification came a bit late, and the package was left at the door without ringing the bell. Not a bad experience, but there’s room for improvement.

DPD et la fausse tentative de livraison

English below
English:
DPD has the unfortunate habit of claiming they attempted delivery and that the recipient was absent, when in reality the driver doesn’t even come down the street. This is purely to make their clients believe deliveries were made on time.
Then, trying to contact them is a nightmare: either you send an email and, if you’re lucky, get a reply a week later, or you’re asked to call a premium-rate number where no one ever answers (which seriously raises questions about its legality).
In short: a deplorable, misleading service that shows complete disregard for the recipient.

DPD has no respect for your parcels

On a regular basis DPD just throws my parcels in my driveway. They never ring the doorbell and very rarely bring the parcel to the door. When I was pregnant I had to unpack my parcels in thr driveway.
Unfortunately I don't choose the delivery service that the websites I order off use. Otherwise I would alway pick PostNL, BPost & DHL
