The postman did not ring the bell. I was at home at the time Bpost would come. So I had to pick up the parcel which was not necassery.

Parcel was deliver as it was informed and placed in the safe place (box) with no prior notice.

This has happened several times; I was home all day, but they falsely claimed I wasn't and delivered my parcel to another location. very disappointing.

I recommend avoiding BPost if possible.
I will not even discuss non-deliveries when you are at home and they claim you were not, so you have to go to a pickup point for your parcel. That is a well-known BPost practice.
The real problem is that when they make a mistake, they do not even acknowledge it, not to mention try to fix it.
My parcel was delivered to the wrong address: same street and house number, but a different city. The person who received the parcel contacted me and sent me a photo of it.
After a month of "investigation," BPost gave birth to a written message saying: "The shipment could not be delivered to your address because the address on the shipment was incomplete (house number was missing)."
They hit absolute bottom by resorting to an utter lie. Their sorting staff confused the postal code, but the house number and street were absolutely correct, so the parcel HAS BEEN delivered, just in the wrong city.

The worst thing is that, as a receiver, you do not have a contractual agreement with BPost, so you have no leverage at all. And if the sender is a small Chinese company that deals with BPost through a courier network, there is no practical way to make BPost fix their mistakes.

It was very convenient, hassle free, and fast delivery! No hassle of waiting at home, no need to deal with people, perfect for both the delivery person and the recipient.
