My son wanted to go to Go Outdoors to get a new coat for starting college. I on the other hand thought it was a bad idea and had very low expectations. My son was right and I was wrong! The staff were super helpful and the range of coats was very good. Prices went from relatively cheap (for waterproof and durable branded outdoor wear) to expensive and Leo talked us through the merits of each brand and price point including the difference in fabrics. He was exceptionally patient and helpful whilst my son tried on several and made a decision. The price for members was far lower and becoming a member was easy. We were also able to take advantage of the 10% student discount that Leo informed us of. Many Thanks

Great service fast delivery

The main item I ordered for my son was then subsequently cancelled so if I’d of known wasn’t available I would never of place an order in the first place.
The jacket I ordered for myself to get free delivery has a visible mark on it which is disappointing for a new item.

Ordered a pair of walking boots, online, I’m a full time carer for my Elderly Dad so can’t get out. My family arranged a surprise few days away in Lake District for me so I quickly ordered boots, they arrived just in time, tried one on fitted perfectly when I got to lakes realised that one boot was a size 7 the other size 8 so had to put an extra pair of socks on my right foot

The two of the items that I ordered arrived completely smashed up and in opened packaging where the delivery company then had to put items into additional bags to deliver. There is no one to speak to on the customer service line and everything is just an automated response which did not resolve anything and then in addition I have to pay to return the items.

Always have great prices and with there members card you can save a lot more.everything instore comes from well known brands,so you know you're getting good quality with great service.

as always the overall pricing and range on the internet are excellent , the gent on the cycling and fishing area (chester) was really helpfull checking stock trying to find what i needed well done for him :) deserves a hug putting up with me, but the float levels on the shelf were a problem for me . Lots of empty shelves and keynotes from the advertised 'sale' not even available at the store. Maybe its just fishing gear its a bit of a niche area but left the store feeling a little disappointed

Enquiring about a pair of walking shoes which was off sale in the store i visited. It was suggested I ordered on line but was unable to. I was told, a new system was not always linking some cards on line to accounts. I tried phoning customer service to sort but was advised of the 35 minute waiting time. I ended up having to re subscribe to a new card/account to order for collection at an alternative store. Customer service did not meet my needs on this occasion.

Visited Fishing Republic and was helped by Finlay at the Gateshead store. He was super knowledgable and gave me some great advice.

Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Get good deals with members card.

He took the time to understand my needs and presented a small selection from the vast display within my budget. He wanted to understand what I wanted to do, shared his own hiking experiences, then made other product recommendations. I have never been happier and trusting to but more stuff!!!!! Great service.
