Questionable warranty work carried out which I was later made feel guilty about. I booked in my vehicle for its service and to remedy a fault under warranty .I was charged 3 times the cost of my previous service at a different main dealer and met with the attitude from Seamus himself which was pay up or else and not open to question .
During the next month I contacted Smsmotors to again repair a warrantied part to be offered to go elsewhere because of the difficulty he (SeamusMcSorley) experienced when claiming payment from the vehicle manufacturers on the previous part . -not good

Inability to repair common faults without multiple visits. -not good

Reasonable (compared to other main dealers ) charges for rudimentary vehicle service -good

Remember You as a customer are paying all of their wages .

Always helpful friendly staff who recently have received a raw deal.
Great value on everything from snooker cue tip chalk to fishing rods .The range of sportswear is massive . It may not be the latest premium brands but the cost reflects this.
I received a gift from the online warehouse as my size was not available locally,
The courier delivery company used was poor as often found they were too lazy to deliver and insisted that they left for collection at a trusted location much to the inconvenience and irritation of the gift-giver.

beware you must know the price of stock elsewhere in Portwest stores or online for whatever brand you select as often the cost can be less elsewhere than the outlet.
Galway store busy and good value during sale event.
Staff helpful in both locations.

Sale item ,Challenge 1KW Mini Oil Filled Radiator,
I found it damaged in box when opened at home, so It would have been packed damaged from factory in China . Not available elsewhere @ €20.99, not expensive and safe to operate despite dent damage so I made decision to keep.
Beware, open goods to inspect at counter in store. Otherwise you'll risk finding yourself in my position with cheap damaged goods not worth the trouble to return for refund, as no longer available on sale at the price that I paid .

Sligo store great value especially during sales , black Friday in particular .

A visit to H N C/Bar worth a browse for special offers - staff great helpful .

staff too busy to deal - less good .

Beware your reason for switching , cashback and 10% discount , may not be as it first appears , because :
