I use them every year for my electricity and gas reviews and switches. And every year I have managed to save money by initiating and/or completing a switch.

Have used Bonkers quite a lot for gas and electricity accounts over the years. Always find them helpful and honest about pricing. Beth helped me out with my electricity account this time. She was courteous and efficient and provided me with all the information I required. Thank you

Having changed electricity suppliers online I needed additional information and support. My email was answered quickly and the response contained all the information I needed. In the end I had to revoke the supplier change and this was done in a speedy and very friendly manner. Top service!!

Wry happy with bonkers.ie. I recently used to switch my broadband provider and the experience has been smooth and saved me money.

Tried to use it to compare energy prices. Didn't include energia as an option which was one of the best priced plans on Switcher.ie

Easy to use and great to get side by side comparisons. An easier and less time consuming way of checking all options. Any questions arising from the switching process were dealt with efficiently and effectively and a big thank you to Beth. I would highly recommend bonkers.ie

A waste of time for car insurance. You'll spend 20 minutes entering all your details, but in the end you'll be directed to an insurance company webpage where (surprise!) they 'can't find your quote' and just 'call us on this number' where you'll speak to an agent and have to repeat all the information anyway.
Save your time and just call the insurance companies directly.

I used Bonkers about a year ago to switch to SSE Airtricity, but the switch never actually went through and I ended up having to sign up directly with SSE myself. I assumed it was a one-off issue.

A few months ago I tried again through Bonkers for a gas switch and didn’t think much more about it. Recently, however, I discovered I was still with my original gas provider and the switch had never been completed. On top of that, I had been moved onto a higher tariff.

While I accept I should have checked sooner, it seems clear there is an issue between Bonkers and SSE Airtricity. At this point I have no confidence in Bonkers and won’t be using their service again.

Hopefully this can be addressed, as it appears to be a recurring issue with SSE. Ultimately, Bonkers should be responsible for ensuring and confirming that the switch has actually been completed.

Thanks for helping me to save money by switching my energy, broadband, mortgage and home insurance. Great to have it all in one place!

I use bonkers.ie every year for my car insurance and energy. Last year alone I saved €1200!! Love the service and am going to switch my home insurance later this year.

Currently using bonkers for setting up my mortgage. My rep Annemarie has been better then I ever could have hoped for. She celebrates our victories, pushes us through our setbacks, and stays on top of what's to come next.Everything has been made streamlined, and it has really removed the stress from a very intense process.

I've used bonkers.ie for electricity and broadband in the past and loved it. Saved so much time and money, didn't have to call around to different suppliers. Currently getting our mortgage, mortgage protection and home insurance with them and has been the smoothest process ever. Especially the mortgage seemed so daunting but bonkers.ie made it painless. Couldn't be happier!

Love Bonkers. I use them every time I have a utility provider contract expiring, so I can get a better deal for the next year. I've just used them to change broadband provider.

Focus is on scraping your info then directing you to call the providers anyway. Extremely poor and time consuming.

I have a Bonkers annual travel insurance policy (underwritten by Mawdy Ireland). We had an expensive holiday in Mexico planned in February this year, to celebrate a milestone birthday, but sadly my sister was diagnosed with brain tumours, and I had to cancel. She passed away while I would have been travelling. Bonkers/Mawdy were useless and paid me nothing, as they wanted me to get notes from my sister's doctor enquiring about potential symptoms from BEFORE she was diagnosed. Her doctor would not give me that under GDPR regs. Note: I had a smaller Allianz travel insurance coverage, via a separate Health Insurance policy, who were a dream to work with and refunded me the maximum possible under their policy (about 50% of my overall costs). Allianz were compassionate and a pleasure to work with. (I will review them separately).

Filled in 5 pages of questions on the web site. Get to the last page an hit Next button but nothing happens. I call the phone number provided which has no one on the end just automated crap telling me to use web chat. I use web chat to be told that web chat does not handle queries re home insurance.
