I would award no stars to this company. I ordered a furniture cover which was in stock at time of order back in June 2026. I received a confirmation if order email and awaited a dispatch email which never came. I contacted Rathwood and was told there was a backlog but my order would be dispatched. Following numerous emails and numerous assurances, I was eventually informed item no longer in stock and no date for re-stock. I could wait or take a refund. I opted for refund which has not been received even though it was to be in my bank within 10 days, this was nearly two months ago and my mistake recent email was ignored. Appalling company that is blatantly robbing peoples money.

Don't purchase anything from this company!!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

They take your money instantly but won't deliver the item you purchased. I spent hundreds of euro on furniture and even paid extra for a 72 hr delivery. It never arrived and every time I calld they told me it was on its way. Weeks and months passed and still their so called customer service team lied and said it would be delivered. When I requested a refund it was the same lies. I was told the refund would be dealt with shortly but despite several calls and more emails I never got it even after months of trying. So frustrating when they blatantly lie to customers with no intention of delivering the item or providing even a refund.

I was deliberately misled until such time as I couldn't seek a refund through my bank (reverse charge on my debit card). This can only be done within 120 days and after that its not an option and Rathwood clearly knew that.

Don't lose your hard earned money - DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM RATHWOOD.

Ordered furniture never arrived . Offered refund never happened . The High court offered me 16 cent !! Disgraceful . This business should be closed .

I was one of the many many people who didn’t receive my order of garden furniture from May 2025, nor get refunded while the company went into examinership under the high court.
We know will never see that money back. They have treated a lot of customers badly in the last few years and bad reputations last no matter what way they try to rebrand

What on earth is wrong with the High Court ?
How can a judge say that it's fair for me not to receive my money back and still allow Rathwood to be in business? It's out of my reach. It's a scam being legalized. It's absolutely outragous. I will never ever buy anything from this company or any related companies that bought into it. Shame on that Judge!

I believe it is a disgrace that rathwood are still allowed sell products that the won’t fill
The orders like the thousands of people they already robbed from .
And paying back 0.25 percent to the people is a disgrace . They should not be allowed to continue as a company and should not be protected like they are

I was promised a full refund for non-delivery of a product. According to a court ruling, I was given 1 euro out of the 400 euro. I will never do business with Rathwood, nor its renamed organisation.

This company lies to its customers.

Unfortunately I trusted the salesperson when they said my order was delayed waited nearly 9 months. Found out later it was a delaying tactic as they were going into recievership . Spent €900 on a garden suite. Got €0.99 refund from receivers. Don't know if they can be trusted now so buyer beware.

Absolutely ridiculous carry on. They keep selling stuff they do f have and yet nothing is done about it because they are under examinership. We bought a bed for our daughter. We didn’t get the bed, paid €500 and didn’t receive refund either. Now they sent us email that we are entitled to refund off €1.24!!!! What on earth is that? Disgrace

So basically ordered item in 2025 and paid fully for it, never arrived and never was going to and in my opinion they knew this but they took my money anyway, I asked and asked for my refund, I kept ringing and getting the run around. They made a deal which most people know about and now have taken us there customers as mugs. Offered me 32 cent compensation, I'm now down over 128 euros. All I can say is "Rathwood Rats" should have been there company name. I would advise anyone looking to purchase anything from this company to run a mile.

I ordered a bed from rathwood Furniture in December and the entire experience has been appalling. The bed was never delivered, and despite repeatedly contacting customer service, I was constantly fobbed off with excuses and vague promises.

Eventually, I cancelled the order and requested a refund. Unfortunately, the same pattern continued — repeated delays, poor communication and no proper resolution. I had paid approximately €300 for furniture I never received, yet I was then notified that my refund would be just €0.72.

To make matters worse, the bed I had ordered continued to be advertised for sale on their website for months after my order, despite them failing to fulfil mine.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise people to be extremely cautious before ordering from this company. I have been left without the furniture I paid for and without the refund I am owed. The whole process has been completely unacceptable and has felt like a scam from start to finish.

This company is a scammer, I got a refund of €0.30 for firewood ordered in September last year that was never delivered, I can't believe they still exist, it's a joke

I ordered my timber in May 2025 on this company’s pay now and receive later plan.It was due in September 2025I never received any timber after numerous phone calls. . I requested a refund in December 2025 and was fobbed of by their “customer service” numerous times with lies that my refund would be completed until they went into examinership. Now I’m being told my refund will total 36 cent I paid €142 and am being insulted with 36 cent.This is not a refund it is a slap in the face after all this company has put me through. This company is nothing more than a scam and thieves masquerading as a company. I would say they should be ashamed but thieves never are. I will never forget this and will never have a good word to say about Rathwood. They have stolen from their customers and should be in jail like the criminals they are. Please take this advice and do not buy from or deal with this “Company”

Stay well away not to be trusted a joke of a company just bailed out of financial examinership at the cost to all the customers and now back to do it all again STAY AWAY FROM THEM

I made an order last September for firewood for €366 I just received an email saying I am entitled to a 92 cent refund. This company is a joke please AVOID at all costs. I can believe this company is still trading

Purchase a vanity cabinet for my wife online with Rathwood last November for over €500. Just got notified today that they were under the protection of the High Court and offered me €1.09 as a refund!

Would give zero stars if possible ! Absolute shambles of a company . I ordered a table and chairs set , only the chairs came, no table ever arrived and no refund ! The worst customer service ever full of false promises . Do not order !!!

Terrible experience — I’m absolutely furious

I bought tickets for my whole family, and when I tried to redeem the vouchers, I found out that I couldn’t use them as expected. I contacted the company and requested a refund, but they still haven’t returned my money.

I’m absolutely furious about this situation. I bought several tickets trusting that I would be able to use them with my family, and now my money is tied up, I can’t use the tickets, and I still haven’t received my refund.

Honestly, I do not recommend this company. Think very carefully before buying and make sure you fully understand the voucher conditions, because based on my experience, getting your money back is proving to be extremely difficult.

Such a bad party experience for us on Saturday so many mistakes and just poor service compared with the year before. v disappointing

Not the girl who was on's fault either as she was alone for most of it

I have been contacting Rathwood for over 3 weeks about our garden furniture we purchased 3 yrs ago .. this is out third summer using the set which in Ireland means it’s been used for approximately 2mnths of the year and then stored inside for the rest of the year well protected . However this summer it’s like the whole rattan has fallen apart the whole table has cracked in different places and my husband sat on the sofa it literally snapped all along the frame !! This set was expensive and well looked after . We have sent emails with pictures and surprise suprise no reply spoke to Reine and Diana about it when I finally got through to customer services which is also a nitemare. What I can see is these girls have to deal with all the crap their supervisors don’t want to deal with and nothing will ever be done . Stay away from this company I’m sorry we ever bought from them considering all the lovely Irish companies that can supply better quality products !!!
