Premier Inn Yeovil

Premier Inn Yeovil, it was made clear (after booking a non-refundable booking) that the hotel I was staying in had no restaurant but I could have free complimentary fruit, it didn't look good and looked very old (shame I can't post a photo here). The shower door over shot it stop and when closed left a larger gap in the middle. the shower was very dirty in the corners. The worst part was that workers were working the the old Beefeater restaurant (hence why it was closed) and on my departure at 3am I tripped and fell outside over on a paving slab that they had lift and left like this all night. All I can say is always check Airbnb because I'm sure you will find a better room to stay. Premier Inn company just seems to be an automated business now, robot vacuum cleaners, AI customer service where are the humans gone?

Made a last minute booking on my ipad…

Made a last minute booking on my ipad at about 7pm. Arrived at 8.30pm approx but they couldn't find the booking, and the internet was so poor that I could not connect to find my email confirmation. The Clerk would not allow us to stay without the confirmation. I knew they had three rooms available, and asked to book another room, but was told this could not be done. So my 82-years-old husband and myself were sent out into the dark at 9pm with nowhere to stay. I went for help to Brewers Fayre next door where a young man worked magic with his phone and my Ipad to retrieve the confirmation, which was then reluctantly accepted by a now very surly clerk. This saved he day, but, like others, we will not risk Premier Inn again.

Early check in charge.

I booked a room at Premier Inn Norfolk Show Ground (6th Sept 2026) and after a 200 mile journey l arrived at around 13.15. l was told the room was ready but if l wanted to check in early l would need to pay an additional £15. If l didnt pay l would have to wait until 15.00 to gain access to the room that l had already paid for. Allowing me to check in early wouldn't have cost Premier Inn anything. Most hotels allow guests to check in early as a courtesy. This is cynical, calculated profiteering with no justification.
Use a another accommodation provider who actually values their guests. Disgusting approach to customer relations.

Worst stay at premier inn Milton Keynes…

Worst stay at premier inn Milton Keynes Central Theatre District. We got special needs childrens, as we arrived to the premier inn hotel, there wasn't enough disable parking bay, so i went in to the premier inn and spoke to the receptionist, i asked for help in where else could we park and it has to be disable bay, the receptionist said the 1st and 2nd row parking belong to premier inn. However, the receptionist suggested to park 3rd or 4th row in the parking area. This is not right! We had to wait around as time passed by then, a disable bay was available from this premier inn. We went in to the premier inn hotel, The premier inn lift on the left side is out of order. We went in to the right lift and the lift doors wasn't closing properly. Very unsafe! Our special needs childrens was frightened. We had to get out of the lift and we took the stair way up to our room. We got our family room, the main lights in the ceiling, the light keeps flicking on and off, affecting our special needs childrens. It was distressing and overwhelming. I had to quickly switched off the main room lights and put turn on the light on the headboard to reduce the stress. Reported it to the receptionist.
In the early hours of the morning just after 3am to get something from our car, someone vomit on our side car and on the floor. Its is disgusting , I had to get water to wash it down, walking back and forth from our hotel room to car, so many times spending over 1 hour to do that. The main entrance door to the premier inn is broken, there is no secuity guard. Its made our family feel so unsafe! This is the MOST DESPICABLE experience ever and NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS ONE AGAIN. Waste of money and cause distress for the family especially our special needs childrens.

hub by Premier Inn stole my money

I booked a fully prepaid stay at hub by Premier Inn Farringdon (Old Bailey) for one week from August 24 to 31. I even paid in advance for breakfast. Despite this, hub by Premier Inn Farringdon (Old Bailey) still charged me $204.91. Employees on site either could not or would not help me resolve the situation. Attempts to contact the Premier Inn support line have been as useful as a dog chasing its tail. Its not uncommon for hours and even days to elapse between responses. And when they do respond, they ask for the same information, as if its not readily from all the other times I provided it in the Whats App chat. It feels like the folks at Premier Inn either know they made a mistake and don't want to admit it. Or they're trying to frustrate me into giving up and letting them steal that money from me. Well that's not happening. I want nothing short of a refund and an apology. So, whenever the folks at Premier Inn want to reach out, I'm all ears.

Premier Inn rip off algorithm strikes again!!!

Tried with my family to book Premier Inn again for the same day as the rest of my family for our quarterly year visit to our see the wife's dying Mother. She is very slowly deteriorating from Alzheimer's and is close to the end now. They always discuss which Premier of three in the area to choose and most often choose the cheapest. I know I should have learnt from last three times but honestly didn't expect it to happen for a fourth time. We book separately and in doing so we activate Premier Inns algorithm and it puts the price up in seconds, so fast that the price goes up while actually booking. Again today it went from £49 including a special offer for free breakfast they sent me for being such a good regular customer up to now £77 just for the room. Its extortionate and immoral and quite frankly should be made illegal !! Especially mid booking. In anger I have deleted my Premier Inn account because after speaking to their customer service, not only did she admit the algorithm does this but remarked, "you should have all booked together, not one at a time" to avoid the increase? I say Premier Inn should stop ripping people off, no wonder they only have a 2.2 star rating here !!!!! Any way voting with my feet because they couldn't afford a £10 discount, their loss because four bookings a year or more for the next three or four years is a lot more than £10 !!! No wonder their restaurants went tits up and I bet in time Premier will go bust or be bought out too, at least I hope so.

Premier Inn Euston Square London UK

Premier Inn Euston Square London UK

Room was not cleaned to a good standard. Dust on bedside lamps. Dirty toilet. Unpleasant smell in room and corridors. Whole hotel very tired, needs full renovation. Stayed in premier inns before, never had this experience !! Did not stay, paid for breakfast which we obviously didn’t eat.
Contacted customer service and they were not interested what I had to say.
There was no working air conditioning, during one of the heatwaves.
Smelly and dirty room, was not happy to stay there.
Will never stay at a Premier Inn again.

Really gone downhill

My first stay in Premier Inn many years ago, I had an amazing night and I had booked with them because of their good night sleep guarantee. I had several more stays, and went on to get a Premier Inn mattress for myself as they were so comfortable. A couple of times there have been temperature issues (either too hot or too cold), and they provide massive thick quilts even in summer, but most of the time it’s been a lovely stay.

However, during my recent stay in Premier Inn Preston I noticed a sign saying they knew it was hot so we can swap your quilt for a thin sheet. When I asked, the receptionist didn’t know what I was talking about until i pointed out the sign, then told me there was a fan in my room but said he would bring a sheet up. I waited up way longer than I wanted to but it never arrived. I eventually went to bed but couldn’t sleep due to the heat and there was no socket near enough the bed for me to be able to feel the fan.

I did get a refund under the good night guarantee and was also told they do have extension leads at reception so that’s something that people may like to ask for if at this hotel.

I am now in Hammersmith and decided to eat in the restaurant here. I didn’t mind having to wait twenty minutes until we could be seated. We are here with a friend and just enjoyed the chat on the comfy sofas near the restaurant. It is a lovely area.

We were given an allergen sheet to check and the waitress seemed very keen to ensure we knew how to make sure we got our food order right, given my daughter’s allergies, but after waiting for absolutely ages to be served and feeling we were going to pass out from hunger, our food finally arrived and my daughter had an unsuitable extra that had been added to her meal.

There was one waitress serving everyone so we went to the bar to ask if we could see the allergen sheet again to check that this addition was suitable. The person at the bar then had to wait for the waitress anyway. Eventually the waitress arrived and said the food we ordered always came with those extras but she would check with the kitchen. My friend reminded the waitress that she actually recited our order back to us, including the word “just”, meaning we didn’t expect extra items. The waitress returned after a considerable length of time to say it was her fault completely and she would redo the meal for free and give the three of us free desserts so it ended fairly well and we only waited a few minutes for the replacement and for the desserts though sadly no dessert was suitable for my daughter.

Our room was boiling and the thermostat in the room didn’t work. I went to reception, by now really ready for bed as we were in the restaurant so long, and he said he had to turn it down there. He asked if we wanted it at 20 or 21 and raised his eyebrows when we said 18, even though I look like a perimenopausal woman who may be prone to night sweats and hot flushes! I added “unless you have any fans” and he said no. We then found it was blowing too much but my daughter found we could now adjust the thermostat so we turned the fan setting down to keep the cool temperature but the fan less powerful. I was still too hot but worse than that, it was like sleeping on a brick. I was, and still am, in agony.

It was cold after my shower so I turned the thermostat up to get dressed then went to ask receptionist if under these circumstances I could get our second night refunded, as I had stupidly made a standard booking this time instead of my usual flex one. She spoke to staff who dealt with the temperature last night and then said it’s now on 23 so it’s my fault that it was so hot. I told her it’s just been on that since I showered but she kept saying it was under my control even though I reiterated it was as cold as we could get it when I went to bed and I am more bothered about the uncomfortable bed than the heat anyway.

She does not appear to want to do anything about the bed situation and just going on about the heat and blaming me instead of taking responsibility. It is appalling customer service

Very poor experience

We booked in advance to stay at the Premier Inn Ferndown Bournemouth. Our paid for breakfast was cancelled but they failed to mention that the adjoining pub was also closed. We had booked a disabled access wet room which we were subsequently notified later was not available but found on arrival we were put in a room with a bath which my wife was unable to use. The standard wifi was so poor it was unusable. The hotel was drab and dated. No air conditioning was available.

Extremely poor hygiene, unsafe bathroom conditions and disappointing complaint handling

We recently stayed at Premier Inn Slough and the experience was completely unacceptable.

We were first given Room 2, which was a long walk from reception through corridors and up and down stairs. When we entered the room, there was water all over the bathroom floor coming from the rear of the toilet basin. Because of where the water was coming from, we had no way of knowing whether it was contaminated. Both I and my 10-year-old daughter accidentally stepped in it before realising how bad the leak was.

I went back to reception and was told the hotel was fully booked. The duty manager came back to the room with me, wiped the water up with a towel and told us to contact reception again if it happened again. Within around five minutes, the water was spreading back across the bathroom floor.

We returned to reception and were then asked to wait while another room was prepared. We were left in the reception area for around an hour before eventually being moved to Room 229, having to carry all of our belongings from the first room.

Unfortunately, the replacement room was also not up to an acceptable standard. There was no shower curtain, meaning the bathroom floor became covered in water whenever the shower was used. To top it off, we then found a toenail clipping on the floor, which raised even more concerns about whether the room had actually been cleaned and checked properly before being given to us.

After complaining to Premier Inn, they initially offered us a partial refund of £45. After I challenged this, they increased the offer to £68. I explained that I did not feel this was adequate given the hygiene concerns, the disruption, the room move and the condition of both rooms.

Premier Inn then told me that the complaint had been reviewed by a senior manager, that £68 was the maximum refund they would offer, that there was no further internal escalation available, and that this represented their final response and resolution to the complaint.

What I find most disappointing is that this was not one isolated issue. We had serious hygiene and maintenance problems in two separate rooms, including my child stepping in water leaking from the toilet area, and yet Premier Inn still refused to provide a full refund.

I expected a clean, safe and properly checked room. Instead, we had a leaking toilet area, a long wait for a replacement room, a bathroom with no shower curtain, and a toenail clipping left on the floor.

For me, the way the complaint was handled afterwards has only added to the disappointment. I would not consider £68 an adequate response to what happened, and based on this experience I would be very reluctant to stay at Premier Inn Slough again.

If you a single female travelling alone…

If you a single female travelling alone read this before deciding to stay at South Mimms. After arriving from the O2 at around 12:30 am - Someone started constantly knocking every 10 minutes or so on the door opposite my partners door from about 2am and both guests were being very loud. She couldn't ring reception on her mobile as no landline in the room and they don't answer the phone and haven't done for past 36hrs.
As a single female she didn't feel safe to go down to reception as the 2 guests appeared to be impaired by something, e.g. drugs or alcohol. Later on, there was another commotion, she looked the peep hole and the door to the room opposite was half open and could see someone passed out on the floor in the room and not moving. Later she heard the cleaners and heard them say "oh my god".
My partner raised the issue with reception before checking out explaining the whole issue, the response from the receptionist was quite worrying, she simply said that my partner should have come down and report it rather than leaving it to the morning.
This is not the empathetic response you would expect from a "trained" receptionist. As the rooms don't phones, there should be a mobile phone number to call in the event of situations like this.
This could be done by giving women who are staying on their own a card with the number on to call in circumstances as this

1*.....

I don't think the carpet in the room has ever seen a hoover, we had to find a cleaner to come and hoover. The table and bedside tables were also very dusty. The chair in the room had a big rip down the middle. The hallway and stairs were also absolutely disgusting! The bathroom smelt of mould/mildew. The receptionists on check in and check out were both more interested in having a conversation with other guests. On check in we asked if our room was ready, the receptionist then said I'll check but let me eat my Haribo first! It wasn't worth £10 let alone £110 that we paid. Stayed in multiple Premier Inn before and this is by far the worst!

No basic facilities

Staying at hotel hamilton in south Lanarkshire. Was rather shocked when I decided to stay here after a 7 hour drive. I got there oh now maybe ten or twelve minutes before three and went in to find a no contact or room access allowed until 3pm. Room access I can deal with that but after ringing the desk bell to beg for the use of a bathroom and being told we can't do that and there is not one. You will have to wait until full check inn has been done and you can access your room for bathroom use. Wow just wow a public hotel with no public bathroom facilities. 1st time I have ever entered a hotel and been faced with no facilities on ground floor or reception. The fact I am disabled for reasons I won't publicise caused me distress and I had to go to asda supermarket to deal with urgent needs close to the hotel. The rooms can't fault them but this by far should be a huge concern.Even if resteraunt on site is closed there needs to be bathroom facilities. Made this experience rather shocking and why other hotels would be booked first. Had to also request more than one towel at desk again should we need to as staff are aware of bookings so 1 towel? Cmon there's being tight and taking the....Few other issues but more than stated a big issue
