Just adding my voice to those saying how poor Amazon has become.
“Marketplace” is one of the biggest scams with Amazon happy to take a significant cut of the profits (I know because a former employer used them and it was very expensive) but taking no responsibility for issues.
PrimeTV has become ensh!ttified : 20% advert breaks on a streaming service I’m paying for.
Increasing failed deliveries.
I’m going to make a point of avoiding Amazon and going direct to suppliers
Had my Ipad case delivered the same…
Had my Ipad case delivered the same day, only thing was on amazon it did not say out for delivery it just turned up.
failed a delivery and now a week on
failed a delivery and now a week on, keep asking me stupid questions like prove my id and take photos of my house, this company is a total waste of time and these questions serve no purpose, they take forever to review each point and then you get nowhere
never recommend this company
Amazon are disgraceful customer…
Amazon are disgraceful customer services have gone down here 150% they are disgusting. I received an email telling me that my Toshiba TV was dangerous and I had to contact Amazon so I done that because the TV was at risk of catching fire. Some Indian guy told me yes indeed you can either send it back. I haven’t got the boxes in that case you can dispose of it if you can or just keep using it, I mean keep using it. What a stupid thing to say so I did as Amazon told me I disposed of it then they refused to give me a refund for the damn thing and expecting me to lose £439 not gonna happen they are breaking UK rules and I will make sure they pay the ultimate for this. I will report them to Martin Lewis rip off Britain training extended and everybody
Even one star is too many
Hardly surprising Amazon has just one star.
Why is Amazon defrauding customers by refusing to give refunds when drivers fail to deliver but mark orders as delivered? Have just spent half-an-hour speaking to customer services about a £43-order from Amazon Fresh marked as delivered but not delivered. Spoke to three assistants in Customer Services - even though the items are perishable and have probably been dumped in the sunshine at the wrong address, Amazon refuses to refund. Tomorrow I have a further £93-worth of items on order. They will not let me cancel the orders. My order form says Not Yet Dispatched - they tell me it is already despatched and cannot be cancelled, even though they are perishable items. They have to spend 48 hours conducting investigations they cannot explain to me to refund an order contain yoghurt that by now has been sitting in the sunshine for more than two hours at the wrong address. Amazon are taking customers' money, failing to deliver, failing to refund - because they have to conduct their own investigations, although they cannot tell me what these are - and are failing in their customer service obligations to deliver. This was an Amazon Fresh order - not an Amazon "dump it anywhere and leave it in the sun for two hours or more" order. The customer service number - overseas - is 020 7084 7911. That is in itself a problem - I was asked for my first name, then was called Barbara after waiting for nearly five minutes to be connected to a male assistant who said he could not help me either - there is no refund or cancel button on their systems, apparently, that they can use - and he refused to put me through to his line manager because he is "a manager". Eventually he disconnected the call after constantly talking over me and refusing to answer any questions about what the investigations involved, or why he could not trace the driver while I was on the phone to find out where the order had been dumped. I will apparently receive an email when they have completed their investigations. This is a business that has overextended itself, cannot provide the services it advertises, takes customers' money without delivering, and refuses to refund when there is an issue - and which should be under investigation for what are anti-consumer practices. You cannot advertise a service offering "fresh" products, then take 48 hours to investigate where a missing order is containing perishables in case it turns up somewhere. The key word is "fresh". They had the nerve to ask me if I wanted the order if they found it - adding that my house sounded "lovely" because I have a small driveway where deliveries can be left. Dealing with Amazon is now like living in an alternative universe, where orders disappear into the ether and they seem unconcerned and refuse to refund - and what is important are diversions int he conversation such as the loveliness of the topography of where you live. I presume Barbara was also online, missing an order, too. This company and its practices and customer service policies need investigating - customers have a right to cancel an order and the policy just seems to be to gaslight customers as much as possible and hang on to the money as much as possible - and spend 48 hours thinking up some excuse as to why a refund cannot be made.
Amazon apparently has new AI glasses to help them deliver accurately. I'll give you a clue in case they turn out to be as poorly performing as the rest of your organisation - below is the order you are looking for.

And no, I don't want them back if you find them. I want a refund and I want to cancel the order you say has already shipped. It should not have done - there are perishables in that order, too. If I want to heat up my groceries, I have devices that do that for me. I don't have to leave them on a doorstep for a few hours.
Customer associate messed with my account
I complained about a pre order that was meant to arrive a day after the date and was a gift for a friend. Was told it wouldn't be here till Saturday and is coming from France. I made a complaint as it isn't first pre order issue I've had. Customer service agent was sarcastic. I leave the site and an hour later check my emails to find my prime has been paused. I didn't do anything with my prime. I contact customer service again and get a different representative. Tell him what happened and ask if this is because I complained. He confirmed the previous agent had messed with my prime. He unpacked it and escalated it while apologising profusely. The second associate was professional, I will give him that and said so. Amazon, you need to get your stuff straight. An associate should never mess with an account. Do better for loyal customers.
Last week my Amazon Account was hacked…
Last week my Amazon Account was hacked and compromised. I received four emails within a minute thanking me for changing my email address and telephone number......which I didn't do. I cancelled my bank cards immediately so thats one problem solved.
I have contacted Amazon twice now and getting nowhere. I have asked to have my account recovered as I have paid for Amazon Prime and I have a Kindle Account with approximately 2,750 books in it. The first phone call I made the operator was most unhelpful and suggested "you can call back in a couple of days if you want". In addition it was hard to understand her.
On my second attempt on 20th July every time i asked about my Prime and Kindle subscriptions she just kept saying they were now part of the new account - which isn't mine anymore but the thief will be able to use my Prime account and can delete my Kindle books should they choose to do so. This is not acceptable under any circumstances.Eventually I asked to speak to a supervisor and asked him about recovering my account. He asked for my original email address and phone number and phone number and the new hacked email and phone number. He said he would refer the matter to an Account Specialist and someone would contact me within 48 hours by email. Needless to say this hasn't happened. This whole process took an hour on the telephone to get nowhere. All the first operator could suggest was starting a new Amazon account but I would have to pay for Prime again and I would lose my Kindle account. At this point I told her there was no way I was starting a new account and would no longer be buying anything from Amazon. I have had my Amazon account for many years and I am disgusted at the astonishingly poor level of customer service from this company. In addition, if my account is not recovered I have no proof of purchase or guarantees for any items I have bought.
I know Amazon don't allow transfer of kindle books between different email addresses but I have been told they can do a "book migration" procedure to save my books but none of the people I spoke to at Amazon offered any help on this whatsoever.
It looks like I'm going to have to call them again and waste another hour or so of my valuable time getting nowhere. This is an atrocious service Amazon and I'm totally disgusted by the whole thing....and NO I will not be recommending you to my friends. I am totally disgusted at the lack of help from this company.
Wrong item turned up twice
Ordered one product and received something completely different, twice in a row after the 'replacement'. Return process itself was easy at least.

I am deeply disappointed with the way Amazon handled my case.
I ordered a parasol that arrived in an unacceptable condition. It appeared used, was the wrong colour, was dirty, damaged, and not as described. I reported the problems immediately and did everything I was asked to do. I explained the damage, attempted to provide the requested photographs, verified my identity when Amazon asked, and repeatedly explained that I was physically unable to return such a large, heavy item through Evri.
Throughout the process, I felt I was being told different things by different people. I was informed that once I had cooperated and provided my ID, my case could be resolved. After doing everything requested, I was then told that I still had to return the item through Evri before any refund would be considered, despite repeatedly explaining that this was not possible.
What has made this experience even more upsetting is that my family is grieving the recent loss of our mum. At such a difficult time, I hoped for understanding and a practical solution. Instead, I felt my circumstances were ignored, and I was left feeling dismissed and unsupported.
I have spent hours trying to resolve this fairly, yet I have been left with no refund and no reasonable alternative. As a customer, I feel let down by both the seller and Amazon's handling of my complaint.
Based on my experience, I would urge others to think carefully before purchasing large or heavy items where a return could become difficult if something goes wrong.
AVOID AMAZON
They used a seller who did not supply the item I ordered. Took several hours of wasted time and frustration trying to get my money back. I left a review but Amazon said it was not allowed so others are going to make the same mistake. Finished with them will never order anything else from Amazon. Dirty cheats and time wasters
I have used Amazon UK for many years…
I have used Amazon UK for many years and have been very happy with the sales and delivery service. However, my latest purchase has not yet arrived after over a week, though this holdup may be due to the manufacturer, Aquacadabra, or Royal Mail. It is difficult for me to determine exactly who is at the root of the problem of non-delivery. Having paid Amazon, I assume it is up to them to deal with the problem.
Overall, a good experience
Amazon website works well and shows a huge range of options of whatever you are looking for. The prices are a little higher than you would get locally, but I have found the customer service to be very good, particularly when you need to return something. Saves me a lot of time.
Don't use Amazon
I have had so many problems with amazon. They gifted me £50 on a gift card as a good will gesture. I spent it. The same day. The day after I got messed around again. Also now have to wait 7 days for a refund. Absolutely disgusting company. I've spent thousands over the years. I get treated really badly
BEWARE - Received a FREE gift Voucher from purchase from Amazon
I have been an Amazon customer for many years and have spent a lot of money through the platform, so writing a negative review is not something I do lightly.
A few weeks ago, I received an Amazon order containing a professionally printed voucher inside the product packaging claiming that I had been randomly selected as one of just 3% of Amazon customers to receive a free gift.
The voucher looked entirely genuine. It even offered, as one of the free gifts, a serum that I had previously purchased from Amazon.
Believing the offer to be legitimate, I purchased the serum again through Amazon specifically so that I could claim the advertised free gift.
The voucher directed me to an external website, where I was asked to provide my name, email address and Amazon order number. After submitting my details, the website repeatedly failed to proceed.
Concerned that I may have disclosed my personal information to an unauthorised website, I contacted Amazon Customer Services.
I spent approximately 50 minutes on the telephone, provided photographs of the voucher, screenshots of the website and explained my concerns in full.
Initially, I was repeatedly told that the matter was "nothing to do with Amazon" because it involved a third-party seller.
Only after challenging this response was I told the matter would be escalated and that I would receive a response within 48 hours.
The follow-up email I received did not answer any of my questions. Instead, it simply directed me to Amazon's generic process for reporting the seller.
That completely missed the point.
My complaint was never just about the seller.
It was about the fact that I received the voucher because I purchased through Amazon, made a further purchase through Amazon in reliance on that voucher, and disclosed my personal information because I believed the promotion was genuine.
I asked Amazon whether the promotion was legitimate, whether it complied with Amazon's policies, whether my personal information may have been disclosed to an unauthorised third party, and what Amazon intended to do to protect its customers.
None of those questions were answered.
For a company that has built its reputation on customer trust, I expected Amazon to take ownership of investigating something distributed through its own marketplace, rather than directing me back to the seller after I had already spent nearly an hour providing evidence.
This review is not about the value of a £13 product. It is about trust, accountability and customer protection.
I have now escalated my complaint to Amazon's Executive Customer Relations team and hope they will take a more responsible approach than the customer service I experienced.
Awful delivery service
Awful delivery service. Repeated failure to deliver to my door, a first floor apartment. Items are regularly left in a communal area.
My instructions, which although requested are never read by the driver, is to ring the bell and I will let them through the security door.
As I've recently suffered a heart attack I have limited mobility, especially when it comes to carrying items.
This service has deteriorated recently and it will influence my future purchases from them. Very disappointing, especially as this has been repeated reported to Customer Services.
Can't stand this company
Can't stand this company, it's gone from glory to shame, dishonor, and disappointment.
BHX3 has been the worst employer I have ever worked for. From HR to Flow management and PGs, some associates feel unsupported and treated unfairly.
It feels like personal friendships and romantic relationships with management can influence promotions, opportunities and job security. If associates are not part of those management’ circles, they can feel excluded and overlooked.
There are also concerns around close relationships between managers and the Learning team leader, which affects the selection and treatment of some associates. Some employees felt targeted, bullied, or unfairly blamed for fabricated mistakes and accused of errors in their workflow which they haven't done.
These odd practices damage trust, morale, and are not aligned with the standards of a fair and respectful workplace.
Amazon customer service is terrible and…
Amazon customer service is terrible and has been for a long time. They owe me money and are refusing to refund it. I placed order on 16 July. Never delivered on 17 as should have been. I have been dealing with amazon customer service (chat with an associate) for many days and they are still making me wait another week before looking into this.
Undelivered Orders and Endless Excuses
made a order with amazon on 29/6 for 2 WD red hard plus 4tb drives for £146.99 per drive .the delivery date was on 13/7 . wanted to ordered 2 more but the limit 2 hard-drives. Completed customs clearance and the
package arrived at an Amazon facility in Kent UK on 1 1/7 .So i ordered a 4bay ugreen nas The drives.was not delivery on the 13/7 went on amazons site Package delayed in transit and the next delivery date was 14/7 No package on 14/7 this went on to 17/7. So i rang customer service and was told my package had gone missing and amazon had no more of the drives in stock so a delivery date is currently unavailable Now the drives that i ordered have gone up £219 per drive on amazon site So now i am left with a nas that i can not use unless i pay £70 more per drive
Failure to honour charity donation!
This specifically relates to the Executive Support Team. I’ve had an ongoing problem where Amazon completely messed up two orders. I was offered a goodwill gesture, but asked if it could be made as a charity donation by Amazon. They agreed, removed the goodwill gesture from my account, and told me they were making the donation. All good…until I asked for evidence, which I had to do multiple times.
I received the following today: “I have checked but have not received a response from the team regarding your donation request. In that case, we are unable to support your request at this time.”
So, Amazon have not only not made the donation (which I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t chased), but they also took the goodwill gesture from my account!
Frequently don't deliver as agreed
Frequently don't deliver on the agreed dates - you order several items to arrive on one day for convenience and they simply send them on different days as they see fit, so you get to waste more of your life.
