I was in love with Temu and was telling everyone about it, until they started not letting me check out my items without adding more items that I do not want or had money for that’s so stupid!! I see t... See more

I dont want to play there games, it isn't worth it to me. Everytime I go into their site, I ignore the spinning thing and when I click on an item, it wont let me get it unless I download their App. I don't want the App because its very annoying, that's why I uninstalled it previously. I just want to get in there, buy some stuf and get out. If I have to download their app then I'm not buying their stuf because I'm not going to download the app. I will just go buy from another online store instead

i ordered some ladies underwear and they arrived used and with suspicous liquid stains! disgusting
I've ordered items .many times from temu. Most packages arrive, , some haven't.
The one thing I would advise people is don't bother with the " free items" and then hae to spend more than £10 on top you dont get the free items,. It's a scam.
Overall, their customer services have improved. But, at the end of day, you get what you pay for.
First time ordering and will be the last. Made an order with 2 items on the order. 1 item was delivered with no issues, recieved it 3 days after placing the order. The 2nd item i have not received, tracking keeps saying in transit. Mind you it arrived(supposedly) at the delivery carrier within 2 days of the order being placed. That carrier point is less than 20miles from the delivery address. That was a week ago. To this day tracking info keeps saying in transit to next facility. What facility. Can't get ahold of any body but AI for customer service and that just keeps telling me wrong tracking number, but it's the tracking number the carrier gave me and it was tracked from California to Tampa FL. And now nothing. I will NOT purchase from Temu again. Ashame cause they had some great deals.
FARMLAND
CHOOSE GIFTS, PLAY;
GET CHEATED OUT OF POINTS,
MAKE PURCHASES AND
ONCE YOU'VE FINALLY WON, INSTESD OF GIVING YOU THE 4 GIFTS YOU ORIGINALLY CHOSE,
THEY'RE NO.L9NGER AVAILABLE.
THEN THEY ASK YOU TO CHOOSE 2 NEW GIFTS, OF MUCH LOWER QUALITY.
BUT THEN A NEW GAME BEGINS,
YOU CHOOSE 4 MORE GIFTS!
YOU PLAY & PAY FOR MORE PURCHASES.
BUT THE GAMES ARE RIGGED!
WHEN YOU'RE 2 PIECES AWAY FROM COLLECTING 1,000 POINTS, MADE 3 PURCHASES AND GOT ONLY 1 PIECE.
GAME ENDS.
PLAYING ANOTHER GAME WITHIN FARMLAND, IM ON LAST PUZZLE, HAVE 2 LAST PIECES TO MERGE, IT'S WIGGLING, TELLING ME TO JOIN THEM, BUT THEY WON'T MERGE.
CLOSED GAME SND APP, REOPENED, SAME.
SHUT DOWN PHONE, REVOOTED, OPENED APP, OPENED FARMAND, OPENED GAME, WON'T MERGE, CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE, A HUGE WASTE OF TIME.
THAT 300 POINTS I WOULD HAVE EARNED, WOULD HAVE GIVEN ME A WIN, IN CUSTOMER TO CUSTOMER CHALLENGE, SO I LOST 80 POINTS.
1,080 POINTS, JUST OVER 1% LESS TO COLLECT 4 GIFTS.
STILL NOT GOTTEN 4 GIFTS I'VE BEEN PLAYING MONTHS FOR, BUT GUESS WHAT?
FARMLAND RESTARTS, JUST CHOOSE 4 FREE GIFTS, MAKE SURE YOU PLAY 4 TIMES A DAY, TO COLLECT POINTS THAT DECREASE AND PRIZES HARDER TO GET.
SO SORRY, YOU WERE LESS THAN 2% AWAY, BUT NOW YOU GET TO PLAY AGAIN!
PICK 4 NEW GIFTS THAT WE WON'T GIVE YOU,
PLAY & PAY FOR MORE GIFTS YOU'LL NEVER GET!
I HAD CHOSEN 4 GIFTS, I SHOULD HAVE WON THEM, BUT, INSTEAD, MY GIFTS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE, INSTEAD, THEY GAVE ME 2 CHEAP GIFTS!
FARMLAND CHEATED MY OUT OF GIFTS TWICE AND 3 GAMES/COMPETITIONS WITHIN IT!
GIVE ME GIFTS I'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR, OR I'M DONE BUYING FROM TEMU.
NO 20% OFF
NO $10 CREDIT
I WANT THE GIFTS I'VE EARNED.
GIVE ME MY GIFTS, OR LOSE MY BUSINESS!
THEY ALL ORIGINATED FROM THE SAME GAME, THEY MADE ME PLAY IT OUT IN 2 PHASES, TO NOT GIVE ME MY FIRST 4, OR MY LAST 4 CHOICES.
MADE NUMEROUS PURCHASED.
CHESTED OUT OF 1,000 BONUS FROM GAME ON FARMLAND BY "1" POINT.
CHEATED OUT OF MY 4 GIFTS, AFTER PREVIOUSLY PLAYING FOREVER,
ONLY FOR TEMU TO NOT GIVE ME MY ORIGINAL GIFTS,
JUST 2 CRAPPY GIFTS, WHEN I HAD COMPLETED FARMLAND AND SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE "4"
GOOD GIFTS, THAT I HAD PICKED!
IF THIS IS THE WAY TEMU DOES BUSINESS, I'M DONE WITH TEMU!
I'VE ORDERED OVER 600 ITEMS FROM TEMU IN THE LAST FEW YEARS.
AFTER WEEKS OF PLAYING MORE OF FARMLAND, TRYING TO GET THE "4" GIFTS OF S SOME VALUE, PLAYING 4 TIMES A DAY, MAKING SEVERAL ORDERS, TEMU WON'T GIVE ME MY REWARDS!
THEY'VE CHEATED ME FOR THE LAST TIME!
I'M NOT PLAYING & PAYING FOR THESE GAMES TO TIME OUT, FAIL TO GIVE ME POINTS AND EXTENDED, UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPTS AT CONTAINING CUSTOMER SERVICE, AKA NON HUMAN REPETITIVE REPLIES, OFFERING 20% OFF, WITH A MAX OF $25, OR $10/CREDIT.
AS OPPOSED TO 4 GIFTS AT A VALUE OF ???
YOU'VE JUST LOST A LOYAL AND HUGE CLIENT!
I'M AWAITING 3 SHIPMENTS, ALL MADE WITHIN THE LAST WEEK OR SO.
THEY CHEATED ME
I'M NO LONGER WASTING MY TIME OR MONEY PLAYING TEMU GAMES.
NO GIFTS
NO MORE GAMES,
NO MORE PURCHASES
YOU ASK ME TO SELECT 4 GIFTS, THEN ONCE I'VE EARNED THEM, YOU MAKE ME CHOOSE 2 OTHER GIFTS,
THEN MAKE ME START FROM SCRATCH YET AGAIN?
SO YOU CAN CHEAT ME OUT OF THOSE GIFTS TOO?
PS
1- CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS
2- DELIVERIES TAKE FOREVER
3- QUALITY, BEING GENEROUS, MAYBE 50%.
Illegal activities!
Their courier Evri, has taken to leaving my parcels on the front doorstep while no one is home.
The delivery photo of a particular delivery, shows this. The parcel was stolen before I was able to get home and Temu flatly refused to refund me!!! Will never use Temu again. Under the Credit Consumer Act, legally, they must issue a refund as their supplier (the courier) whom they will have insurance with, for such scenarios, if the parcel
Was not left either in my possession or at least concealed somewhere safe. No one at Temu seems to have a brain cell to deal with my refund appropriately and I’m not willing to write off £158 worth of lost goods! I have been disputing this since the incident happened on the 28th August!
Made the mistake of dipping back into Temu.
Years ago it was fairly straightforward to order & understand.
Now you are constantly being pushed into "buy more buy more" with alleged free offers which are just a scam & never actually appear.
Won't be using going forward.
1.8 star rating tells you all you need to know.
I was a regular shopper on Temu and generally happy. Yes they sell some tat but that's part of the draw. Until recently I never had the need to ask for a refund. However after purchasing a tattoo printer for £26 from a UK based company it never materialised. I received a highly dubious email stating delivery was successful with a proof of delivery attachment. The attachment was a PDF with a few meaningless lies saying delivery was successful. Computer typed text. No handwritten note. No photograph proving delivery.
Quite rightly I asked for a refund. This was rejected first by the company then secondly by Temu.
They asked me to prove it was not delivered. How? Take a photo of my front door without a Temu package on it??? Should the onus not be on them to prove delivery?
So Temu and their affiliate company have basically found a way of stealing money through an e-commerce platform. It's disgusting practice and shameful. I've removed Temu as an app and will not be using them again. Likewise my partner and daughter have done the same.
Be very careful when dealing with this firm. They have no ethics or proper return/refund policies
Appaling customer service. Parcels not delivered to correct adress but left in communal halway to get stolen. Refund or replacement refused regardless pf delivery photo demonstrating that parcel has not beed delivered to my flat but in front of the lift leading to 100s of flats. This constitutes theft and fraud.
My previous reviews of TEMU have been very positive but as companies change and procedures change there is usually a decline. This review details that downturn.
When TEMU created one order and everything came by plane into Madrid normally in one package everything was like clockwork.
Prices were known and TEMU logistics did a great job putting the order together. If there were any delays it was with the delivery companies in Spain who are notoriously sloppy.
Occasionally customs seemed to go into sleep mode for a few days.
However TEMU deliveries were in most instances singled out for a good job. Money and quantity seems to have an advantage.
The EU started charging €3 on every single item so suddenly bills in some cases could double and small items cost more by sometimes 600%.
This is allegedly temporary but when the public are being fleeced this will be a long term demand to increase the non elected officials slush fund. It still exists now.
The single order is no longer “all delivered free, if any item is LOCAL (not from China). This is resulting in goods being bulk ordered in China and re sold on TEMU as on Amazon at a higher price.
Identical items sent from Spain and a delivery charge added (€2.99 +) by the seller who is often Chinese.
It seems that the likes of Dyson and Gillette to name just two are now also using TEMU like an arm of Amazon. Same goods.
So how do you avoid the scams. Firstly avoid purchasing local items, check prices and small print delivery charges.
If the separated item goes missing it’s a nightmare resolving the issue and refund.
To avoid the “alleged TEMPORARY” customs trap avoid buying single items as all get an additional €3 fee. If for instance you buy six items in six colours of the same shoes or T-shirts it’s only €3 so €15 cheaper despite the cost of the item.
I recently bought every colour of a sports shoe which was only €14 expecting short life and they are the most comfortable general purpose gym/casual trainers I have ever owned.
6 pairs for less than my last 1 branded pair purchase. NB: I would not buy for competition use such as marathons etc. due to worries about stability and cushioning potential issues.
TEMU used to be great and cheap enough to speculate a bit but the model has made that less worthwhile and often total madness.
Buyers beware.
UPDATE: (email request for order details)
TEMU are already dealing with my complaint though they are having trouble finding someone who has the ability to count. There is an outstanding delivery fee still to be refunded (€2.99) I will not confuse the issues adding the email requested details.
The ORIGINAL order number was PO-186-11484356700793322
It was lost but the replacement order number has now been deleted without discussion with me regarding cancellation. It appears the LOCAL seller was offering an item they did not have.
I ordered some puzzles and they are of extremely poor quality. They are so thin they dont stay in place and all you need to do is slightly touch one piece and several others fall out.
The poster that comes with it is about a quater of the size of the actual puzzle and therefore it is very difficult to see where they fit, even with a magnifying glass!
The pieces have location numbers on the back but the poster does not, a great help.
Would never buy puzzles from them again. But I would say other things I have bought are fine.
Thank you.
Not a good company to buy from - particularly with Customer Services in respect of Returns. Ordered on 17 August and still waiting for a Returns Label (wrong size) despite numerous requests (Order ID: PO-186-10068656763513571). No meaningful responses from either Temu or Seller. I do not understand how companies like Amazon can send a return label within minutes and a full refund within a matter of hours following return. What is their difficulty? A great deal of time wasted. Use PayPal with them if possible.
I purchased an item:
Order ID: PO-037-04738045235832510. Unfortunately, I wasn't entirely satisfied this time. Customer service responded immediately and very generously refunded the entire amount, without even deducting the shipping costs. I can highly recommend Temu.

I have been ordering from Temu for years. To me, the quality of the merchandise is no longer high quality merchandise. II have had to return so many items that I think I will no longer be a loyal customer.

So let's begin 1st of not all of the items are bad and you can get a bargain at times HOWEVER they lie to you the customer service is a 1/10 absolute shambles of a company 🙄 you buy items and get told well done you can pick 5 yes 5 free items so you go great so you pick your items to be told you must spend let's say £10 so you think ok so you spend the £10 thinking your getting those wonderful 5 items only to be told they give you the cheapest item you chose and now you only need to spend another £40 to get your next free item its a total scam 😉 my advice would be stay clear

I am writing a complain as I am very disappointed by the temu Formal Complaint Regarding Misleading Promotion and Unexpected ChargesI am writing to formally complain about my recent experience with Temu and what I believe was a highly misleading promotional offer that resulted in multiple charges to my international credit card.I was offered a promotion to “draw your lucky card” and was told that I had won 9 free gifts. I selected the gifts according to the options provided by Temu. After that, I was instructed to start playing with customers and complete different activities in order to pack and receive the gifts.During the process, I was repeatedly asked to obtain energy, select items, complete additional steps, invite friends/energy, and answer a quiz. Each time I completed the requested activity, the progress continued until it reached approximately 99%.At that point, the nature of the promotion changed completely.Instead of receiving the gifts that had been presented as free, I was suddenly required to select items that involved charges. I selected items according to my budget, believing that this was part of the promotion. However, Temu then deducted money item by item. I was not given a clear opportunity to simply select a free gift or a short/low-cost option. Instead, I was presented with charged options.I was using an international credit card, and the amount was deducted three separate times. Because these were international transactions, I am also expecting additional foreign transaction charges, taxes, and international service fees from my bank.I immediately contacted customer service to explain the situation and request a proper resolution. Unfortunately, my experience with customer service was extremely disappointing.
I spoke with Estrella, Jaiseme, Ibrahim, and Jasmine during this process. Instead of providing a clear and timely solution, I was repeatedly asked to wait and was transferred through different representatives. In particular, Jasmine kept me waiting for approximately two hours and later said that he was trying to escalate the matter to higher management. If the matter required escalation from the beginning, I do not understand why I was made to wait for such a long period without a meaningful update.Estrella identified herself as being at a high level of customer service, but I found her communication highly unprofessional and her handling of the complaint unsatisfactory. I spent approximately four hours dealing with customer service without receiving an appropriate resolution.Ibrahim also failed to provide a meaningful solution and instead mentioned trying to compensate me with 60 QAR, which does not adequately address the financial loss or the additional charges that I may incur. Eventually
I was offered refund for 3 trans which I made there was no solution however I am waiting for my bank finally statement I used international credit card. I am waiting for finally bill with taxes and service charges I there are bunch of scammers they should think before providing and promoting and the ceo of temu is he rally good with scam. Shame on these peopl

I joined TEMU's "Invite Friends & Get 3 Free Gifts" promotion, worth S$70.33. I referred multiple people and support confirmed in writing that all of my referrals were successful. But the reward per referral — represented as $1 — dropped without warning to $0.50, then $0.20, then $0.08, then $0.01, leaving me stuck at S$70.12 of S$70.33 with no way to close the last 21 cents, no matter how many people I referred.
I spent close to three hours across three separate chat sessions with different agents, all repeating scripted, contradictory answers. None could tell me how many more referrals were needed, even though the system tracks the figure to the cent. One agent admitted outright that "inviting friends may result in a larger amount cut" in the early stages — confirming the reward shrinks by design, something never disclosed when I joined. Another admitted "it can easily look and feel like a scam from the outside." A third told me plainly that support staff have no ability to manually fix it or "force a win."
The only compensation offered was a 20%-off coupon capped at S$20 — which just means spending more money on the platform, not making up for the reward I was promised.
More than half the people I referred told me independently that they thought this was a scam. I don't take that lightly, since I was the one who vouched for the platform to them.
I've filed a formal complaint with CASE (Consumer Association of Singapore) with the full chat transcript as evidence. If you're considering one of these referral "free gift" campaigns, know the rules can shift mid-event without disclosure, and customer service has no power to correct it even when they agree something's wrong.
