Love these shoes
I just love my two new pairs of Saguaro shoes. I've been wearing the first pair nearly non-stop since receiving them, So comfortable, my feet are not hot like they are in a pair of tennis shoes, so lightweight and easy to take on and off. Ordering and delivery was timely and easy. I'd definitly recommend Saguaro.

I could not get my foot down the shaft
I ordered the rain boots off You Tube. I ordered my usual EU size 40. The shoes arrived in a timely fashion without a packing slip. However, style was such I couldn't get my foot in the shaft of the boot. They were impossible to put on.

It was kind of scary to buy expensive shoes for a kid is gonna grow out of them in a seconds but the fact that he like love love, loves his red rain boots from you guys. They are now his special shoe. I am forever grateful because of the wide toe box. Bendable. flexible, waterproof, doesn’t smash toes. We ordered his water shoes at the same time and the rain shoes came a little bit later, but it wasn’t an emergency we needed them so it was fine for it to take a couple weeks to come. Which would normally annoy me, but I was trying to plan ahead and also they’re just amazing shoes. I definitely recommend them and I will definitely buy them again..

I was disappointed in the fit of the rain boots. Not great design for a high instep or fat foot. I could not get into them at all. I even tried a size larger hopping there would be enough space to slide my foot in. but no go. So sad. I have been looking at buying for years and the cool yellow boots sold me on them as I live in Vancouver and rainy season is apon us. the runners were okay, weird heel design it puckers funny, but they seem comfy and if no one looks at the heel they are fun. Still sad about the boots, gonna have to keep hunting. Customer service was great, returns are a bit weird though. Will stick to my other brand for bare foot shoes.

Tried several competitors they don't compare to the quality and feel of these.
Suffering from neuropathy in my feet these help me to translate uneven surfaces and give me confidence and stability traditional shoes can't.

Regarding the stiffness you mentioned, our shoes feature a thin sole designed to provide a closer-to-barefoot experience, which allows you to feel the ground more directly. This can feel firm at first, especially if you're used to traditional cushioned shoes. We recommend giving them some time to break in and letting your feet gradually adapt.

Disappointed with my second pair
This is my second and last pair of Seguaros and I'm disappointed again. It's been maybe 2 weeks now and the back heel has already worn through to the lower layer of rubber. I loved the look of the Chuck Taylor style, and I do know converse don't hold up super well, but I also know they last longer than a few flippin weeks. The tread on the bottom is non existent, it's just slightly bumpy. So i slip slide around in the rain. They are very wide toed and comfortable, but little to no cussion on the sole is quite uncomfortable to walk on. I have other wide toe shoes (or "barefoot" as you like) and they at least have more cushion! I have also worn LEMs, WHTN, and a no-name chinese brand from amazon, which have strangely been the best so far. Sincerily wish Seguaro would get their ish together.

Regarding cushioning, we want to be honest. Our barefoot shoes are intentionally designed with a thin sole and zero drop, offering no cushioning to provide a natural feel and promote proper foot mechanics. This is a core principle of the barefoot philosophy, and we understand that this may not suit everyone's preferences, especially if you are accustomed to shoes with stronger cushioning like the L.

While I love these shoes for many…
While I love these shoes for many reasons- mostly for the wide toe box and the flexibility of the shoe proper, especially not having a “heel”, the Velcro design needs to be better. We’ve noticed the Velcro sticking extra strongly in various places thus making it peel off on the fussy side and not have anyplace to stick to the bristly side.
