Mr Key Shop Reviews

Thanks again!

Excellent experience – the link to download the software became available just minutes after payment; the customer service team, whom I contacted for clarification, also replies within a few minutes.

Quick purchase process and everything worked. I already used Mr Key Shop 3 years ago. I think it is a little misleading that they say "lifetime" licence, because when Microsoft stops the support you have to buy a new one. But you spend anyway less than subscribing to 365

I bought an old version of Office Professional Plus a few years ago. When I had to set up a new PC, I had problems activating it again.

I contacted support and received a very quick, clear and effective solution.

Couldn't ask for more!

Needed Office 2021 due to MS stopping Publisher. Took me 5 minutes to purchase at super low price. Installation instructions excellent. Installed with no problems. I will be back.

Great assistance, honest prices and services! I recommend it and it's likely I'm using the website in the future again.

I gave Mr Key a try a number of years ago. I was skeptical at first because the prices were so low (you know, if it sounds too good to be true...). But I was pleasantly surprised, Mr Key is 100% legit. I'm a computer hobbyist and build machines for family, so I've purchased a number of license keys for windows, always 1/2 the retail price. I don't even look anywhere else now.

Great price and service. Highly recommend!

I have bought software and licences from Mr Key over a number of years and always been pleased with their price points and seamless ordering and downloading capabilities. They are also impressive in their further support when it is required. I recently had an issues with the functionality of a Microsoft Office 2021 package for which I had purchased a perpetual licence 5 years ago for my Mac Desktop and which is now no longer supported by updates by Microsoft, but should still function as it is. The product was not allowing me to edit, save or print in any of the modules : Word, Excel, etc and kept bringing up a message inviting me to activate a MS 365 licence and pay for it and also meaningless error codes. The Microsoft website was not especially helpful and I contacted Mr Key by e-mail and got a swift and very helpful response from Michelle in customer tech support who asked me to send a couple of screenshots and then sent me a step by step process to restore the functionality that worked along with some useful tips to prevent recurrence. At each stage she checked that I was content before we closed down the e-mail trail. In my book this is exemplary after sales customer support on what is after all something I bought 5 years ago and many other organisations might simply have told me to take it up with Microsoft. I highly recommend this firm for their product range , prices and this excellent tech support.

Excellent service

The ease with which I was able to reload Windows 11 on my PC.

The transaction (payment, download, activation) went smoothly. What wasn’t good, however, was that the voucher I’d received when I registered – and which I could have used for my first purchase – wasn’t accepted at the checkout.

Always prompt despatch and value for money

Best price ! Thanks a lot !

edit 10/26/26:
Mr Key customer service reached out to me with an offer of a refund but also included the statement "The licenses available on the store a guaranteed for the entire validity period (lifetime).
If you will encounter any issues with the key, we will provide you technical support to solve the problem.
If the key will be blocked, we will provide you with a replacement key."
So I guess based on that I will keep it and hope for the best since the cheaper sellers I referred to below only mention LTSC as the detail, which could be MAK or KMS, so it would require buying, testing, rejecting til I got a MAK one that could still die early. The MSDN "Retail" key provided by Mr Key may be transferable to a different PC someday as long as Microsoft has not flagged the MSDN account it is based on, but unfortunately the key is NOT attached to my Microsoft account the way a true retail key would be, so there will always be some risk with it. I raised my stars from 1 to 3 based on the customer service reassurance, but since it is not the Excel retail key I thought and only have an email to base the future promise on, still can't go any higher than 3 stars

original review:
After much homework I decided it would be worth paying for a retail (bind type) key for Excel 2021 only, even if from a seller of surplus European stock. My goal was a key that could be activated via my MS account so I could transfer it to a new PC some day. Mr. Key offers Retail keys (but without specifying EXACTLY which key type I would get). What I got was labeled as what I wanted in the invoice, but actually turned out to be the Retail MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) Retail key for the full MS Office 2021 Pro Plus product. This meant I could activate it via my personal MS account to download and install it, but it is not actually attached to my MS account and I will likely never be allowed to transfer it to a new PC later. So it is definitely better than a sketchy used KMS key that could be deactivated by Microsoft at any time, and MAYBE better than potentially overused corporate MAK key that can also be deactivated, but it is not the truly personal Retail key I was hoping for. MSDN Retail keys can also be deactivated any time Microsoft determines that the key was sold to another (like me). So the cost of $68 US means I get the full Office suite of apps, but maybe it will die with my PC or any time Microsoft does an audit. In other words, the word "Retail" in a license type is no guarantee of legitimacy. Mr Key has a return policy that probably excludes my ability to get a refund because I had to activate the product to see what the exact key type turned out to be. So let the buyer beware. A $10 hardware based MAK key for the same suite would have ended up being just as safe (but always avoid keys that require using a special activation process from the seller, they are likely KMS keys with lots of potential security and longevity issues).

License with right price, installs immediately, without any problems.
