Don't buy a Love2shop card
I was given a Love2shop card, unlike other cards this one cannot be exchanged for goods in a shop. I was told to activate the card, I tried to activate it on their website but did not succeed. It is so complicated to activate the card that I have given up. So someone bought a card and because I can't use it Love2shop keeps the money. It is like a scam. Don't buy a love2shop card, it seems you can't buy anything with this card, waste of money

Constant tech issues!
Get voucher codes from my work for special occasions. The voucher code site has been down for days so cant redeem. Customer service takes days to reply. Been down all over the weekend and within that period, the voucher code has expired! Seems to good to be true for love2shop! Money for nothing!

I have over £100 in vouchers that I want to exchange for e gift cards, I have been trying since Friday only to keep getting an error message. Love2shop have acknowledged my messages saying it’s a technical issue but they can’t/wont say when it will be resolved, this is day 4 of me being unable to exchange my vouchers. They have peoples money but customers have nothing to show for our purchases only a email with a link that doesn’t work. Starting to think they are possibly going to collapse hence why they won’t give any timescales for fixing the issue. I won’t be using them again after this and would urge people to avoid and buy vouchers directly with shops. Very poor from such a big company

What a dismal and utterly atrocious company and website experience.
You have taken £50 of my hard earned money and I have nothing to show for it.
Earlier today I attempted to purchase a £50 John Lewis voucher with my L2Shop gift card balance. You allowed me to add this to the basket and then when I submitted the request a red banner pops up "Sorry .. this voucher is out of stock"
Following this the whole website has crashed and supposedly undergoing "Scheduled Maintenance". Appears to have been like this for most of the day.
I am utterly furious with this appalling and mickey mouse setup.
I advise others to steer well clear of this website it is not worth the hastle or stress. L2Shop I will be exercising my consumer rights and if this £50 balance is not forthcoming in the next 24hrs I will instigate a credit card chargeback!

Stay clear if unless you want to lose your money
Absolute worst gift card I have ever received. You cannot just simply use it in a shop like cash. You have to activate it online and add it to your Google wallet which is a faff, but then when that doesn't work your stuck with a card you cannot use. Tried live chat multiple times and doesn't seem to work. Now I've tried to fill the form in to get in touch with love to shop but it keeps sending me an error message back. Beyond frustrated 😡

Just Total utter rubbish, doesn't work, can't redeem rewards I've earned doing market research. Total, total scam waste of time company.
I had similar problems when I was given a card for my birthday, just total utter crapola.

I am a researcher and used Love2Shop e-gift cards cards to share with my research participants. I still have unused cards I wanted to exchange but -www love2shopdigital co uk- has not been working for the last three days.
Mind you, it's not the card that hasn't been working, it's the website where the card is redeemed. I therefore have been unable to redeem these cards to buy another gift card to continue using them in my research. I reckon by the time anybody from Love2Shop reads this error message, the cards will be expired already. I have screen shots where it shows that -www love2shopdigital co uk- is actually down through a website checker. I am happy to show forward it to you for troubleshooting. In essence, my research money is likely gone, and I appreciate you'd help out.

I have over £100 in digital rewards to use towards vouchers however the website is inaccessible and errors continually - seems a lovely idea until you wish to actually redeem them
EDIT - 5th Nov, the lack of transparency is shocking. Ongoing technical issues, we are working hard etc.
Can we please have a very clear update on this. Has there been a hack related to PHP security issues? Has personal data been compromised? Are we more likely to be exposed to scams? Are account balances secure?
Boostworks have specifically referenced the security concerns associated with this worldwide security warnings.
Please can we have a clear update and timelines rather that constant repetition of “technical issues”

Can’t actually use the vouchers
Says you can use the vouchers everywhere. Absolute rubbish. You have to exchange online for a digital card for the shop you want to use it on. Then when you try to exchange it, it says sold out because they have issues with their exchange, then when you try to call on a weekend the offices are closed which leaves you with a list of 6 retailers you can actually use the card. THEN when you go to buy something at Argos it says you can’t use the card on items that are “trusted sellers” so you are literally stuck with cards you can’t use. It should be as simple as it says, you get a gift card and you just spend it. Absolute mess around and waste of time.

The most inconvenient card
The most inconvenient shopping experience, the most complicated and least concise menu system, the least navigable website, the most vague categorizing, this gift card/virtual card/ecard issuer is simply horrible. Extremely unmanageable and complicated. Only gift their products/cards to someone who you really hate and want to get nervous over how non-straightforward and unfun it is to shop with them.
