Dishonest company, zero communication, no item and no refund

I ordered a bracelet and waited weeks with absolutely no updates. I emailed them repeatedly asking when my item would arrive – they ignored my messages, gave no answers, and could never provide a tracking number or any proof where my order was.

Only after I threatened to take action did they suddenly claim the parcel was delivered – the very same day I sent my third email. It never arrived. They are liars and completely untrustworthy. They refused to cooperate, stopped replying, and now I have neither the item I paid for nor my money back.

Terrible customer service, zero transparency, and clearly they don’t care about their customers at all. Avoid this company completely – they cannot be trusted. Shame on you for operating like this.

Waste of money, avoid.

Waste of money. Pointless having it as it does not take data from other activities, pretty much steps only. 3k steps yesterday but 30+mile cycle. Cannot track sleep correctly either.
Heart rate regularly inaccurate when it actually picks one up
Insights come and go too quickly to understand on the app.
Charger is the most cheap and flimsy thing I've ever seen too.
Going in my junk drawer never to be seen again.

If only could leave zero stars

If I could leave zero stars, I would.

The band arrived quickly, but the heart rate readings were wildly inaccurate. When compared with my Apple Watch, and even by manually checking my pulse, the results were consistently wrong.

That, however, isn’t my biggest complaint. If a product doesn’t work, you return it and expect a refund. I returned this band weeks ago, and at the time of writing, they’ve had it back for over two weeks. Still no refund.

I’ve emailed them multiple times and each response has been vague, simply claiming that my refund is “already being processed.” It clearly isn’t.

Poor product, poor customer service, and an unacceptably slow refund process.

PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS.

Please, please, PLEASE do NOT waste your money on a Hume Band. What is not mentioned in the advertising is that in order to measure your weight and body metrics, YOU ALSO NEED A HUME POD to get the full use out of this product. Go to the review site for the HumePod and you will find this product is also unsuitable for use - especially of more than one person.
I have a FitBit watch which is more reliable and has lasted me for years. The Hume Band is tethered to you by a very flimsy bit of elasticated material, fastened with Velcro. This is a dreadful product for the money, but after reading the reviews which say the customer service is dreadful I shan't bother asking for a refund. I probably wouldn't get it; it will cost me more in stress to pursue the matter - which of course is what they count on - so when it does finally give up the ghost it will go straight into the bin. I'm just glad I didn't fall for the hype of money off offers for the Pod as well.

I wish I can give them a zero but…

I wish I can give them a zero but there’s no option. I have been trying to contact them for the past two weeks and they completely ignored me. They charge me for an item that wasn’t even delivered and I’ve been trying to fight with them, but no response. Be very careful. I’m going to contact my bank and see if they can help me.

Very inaccurate don't waste your money.

First off the customer service with Hume is very good. They are resposive and politie. Unfortunately their product is terribly inaccurate so the infomation it tracks is useless. I hate that I spent that much for a product the simply does not work. Says my heart rate is 90 when it's 52. Says I spept 2.5 hours when I slept 7. I did all the troubleshooting they recommended and made sure my band and app were up to date. Sorry don't waste your money. My son says his woop is really good.

Please don’t buy

Have no idea who this band was measuring but it wasn’t me. Firstly the steps were way off. I’ve had fitness devices for years which have been consistent but the steps on this band were laughable. I have spent a few days in hospital with a pulmonary embolism which the hospital machines showed I had high blood pressure, low O2 scores & a raised heart rate. My band gave the same measurements it had since day one, never changed. I would not touch this product. Worthless

No 30-day refund

No 30-day refund. I had the band for 2 weeks and it didn’t track my sleep correctly, which made me question if any numbers were accurate. I sent a refund request to the company since their policy states they offer a 30 day refund. Instead I’m told I may not have the latest version of the app, and other things to update. I had just received the band I downloaded the app! It still doesn’t track sleep correctly and at this point it has just been a total waste of money. I’m very disappointed in the product.

Online Scam and complete let down

I bought Hume Band 2.0 just over a month ago. After waiting for ages to get the product get shipped from China and delivery guys, I was so excited to use the advertised “health tracking” and basically tracking the life the device improved. It also advertised over 10 days of battery life. Into a few days, I knew the data shown are not accurate, especially sleep tracking and steps. And just after the warranty period over which is 30 days, it suddenly dropped its over 10 days battery to less than 24 hours. It would be dead in the middle of sleep defeating the functions of sleep tracking which was inaccurate anyway. Tried a few times, to make sure that I wasn’t mistaken for not charging the device to full but the same result. I charged the device for 30 mins just before this review is written, and it is not working now. A complete let down an scam. They display of 4.5 stars with Trust Pilot logo on their landing page which should be illegal as the real Trust Pilot rating is 1.4. They have paid some tech pages with no integrity to promote their product with a baseless rating of 9/10 which sadly customers go to verify. I am not even going to try to lodge a complaint as I learn that their customer care team makes the return waste of time and a huge load of frustration.
FINAL VERDICT: DO NOT BUY. I was considering buying their digital scale and glad that I haven’t and wouldn’t be visiting even their website, I should have spent my money on Garmin or Apple Watch.

So disappointed

So disappointed. Has only registered my sleep half the nights. I’ve done all the troubleshooting and it still hasn’t handled. It has not register a work out the last 3 days either. I’m so bummed. I had high hopes. Only hope I have left is that I got a faulty one and the customer services is at least decent.

order scam

I was almost suckered; I believed the hyped advertising
I tried to order when I entered the discount code, but the 30% discount was never applied. On top of that, if you want to remove the item you selected, you can't.
That's what made me find a review.

Thank goodness

Faulty band within two weeks

Faulty band within two weeks, no response from customer service
I purchased the Hume band and scales just two weeks ago. Everything worked fine initially, but on Saturday the band suddenly stopped connecting via Bluetooth. I tried everything suggested online and on YouTube to reconnect it, with no success.
I have now written to Hume customer service twice within a 24-hour period and have not received a single response. For a product that's barely two weeks old and clearly faulty, I would expect a much faster reply.
I'll update this review based on how they resolve it, but right now I'm disappointed with both the product reliability and the customer service response time.

Don't waste your money

Don't waste your money, you rather spend it on some other popular activity watches. Asking for a refund, will come back if i will get a refund or not.
1. The band ask to add the weight everyday but do not have anywhere to update it every day. We added the weight in the profile but it does not make any difference. Because of unable to add weight everyday it does not provide us the health score. What actually is required to buy a Hume weighing machine worth approx. £200 to set up with the band to add the weight. So, it is only a money-making scam.
2. My husband walk around somewhere 7,000 -10,000 steps and swim everyday for approx. 1- 1.2km. however the app shows that he has only burned some days 45, or some days 28 Kcal, which is ridiculous.
3. The app does not show the health score and do not give flexibility to add these things manually. You can't add any activity apart from running, weightlifting or walking.
4. It does not record sleep as well, how good was the sleep and how many hours of sleep one had, was it restless and how many hours of sleep was deep or in rem etc. But they publicise as it does that.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Do not purchase, total disappointment.
Saw the ad for the 2.0 Online only to receive a Hume band 1.0. Wrote the company at the correct email support @Hume health. Did not receive any replies through multiple emails requesting return instructions as online it says it has to be pre approved for a return but they never contact you back. Don’t buy.

Poor performance, Poor customer service

The product does not do what they say it does. It is inaccurate. Also, their so-called customer service is horrible. When you contact them to tell them about the poor product performance, they refuse to take any responsibility and say that I am not wearing the band properly, and they send instructions on how to velcro the band. I asked for a refund and they just offered to resolve the problem by selling me more of their crap. I strongly suggest looking at some reviews on youtube by biomedical engineers, who attest to the FACT that this product is garbage.

Horrible experience and I don’t even…

Horrible experience and I don’t even have it yet. Ordered and immediately a banner popped up with a price 10 dollars lower. Tapped and it automatically updated my order to 2 devices and charged me twice! Immediately sent email to support and got a response that said you must cancel through their website within 1 hour or that won’t cancel order. Complete scam. I will be returning with out opening and chargeback through AMEX.

I am a lawyer considering class action. Stay away from this product!

Not worth the $$

Had my hume band for 2 months. Decent tracking and so so read for the day. Tried to charge my band and connect. Nothing. Total dead and won't sync at all any more. Definitely would not waste my time buying another one. Had better luck with the samsung ring and that lasted over 2 years.
