Hume Band 2.0 not worth the money
Overall, I found the Hume Band to be a cheap, basic fitness tracker that did not provide accurate data. I would not recommend it based on my experience.
The refund process has been just as disappointing. I returned the device and have already sent two emails requesting my refund, but I am still waiting for my money to be returned. Total Scam!
Absolutely rubbish experience
Absolutely rubbish experience with Hume. Firstly, It doesn't track your steps on a treadmill. Doesn't have ANY other bands available so you have to use the 1 it come with for everything. As a chef and gym goer it holds smells and stains very easily. Often has gaps in collected data even when wearing the band with almost full charge.
Muscle strain inaccurate.
Can't focus on previous days data.
Sleep tracking not accurate. Doesn't track every time you wake.
Also, you CANNOT RETURN UNLESS IN FULL PACKAGING. absolute joke.
Bands that cost under half the price are better.
The Hume band is a huge disappointment
The Hume band is a huge disappointment. I have many of the same issues as others with wildly inaccurate stats, resting heartrate in the 90s when it's actually 60, not detecting and tracking exercise and heart rate in zones at all, tracking 10k steps on my Versa as 1300... In addition, the scale stopped connecting to Bluetooth after about a month. One of the worst and most frustrating experiences I've had with any purchase in a very long time. I spent about $800 on these devices and have gotten zero value.
⭐ 1 star
⭐ 1 star – Lost a €200 device in the sea after less than 30 minutes
I bought the Hume Band for around €200 and used it for the first time today. I was on a boat and wearing it exactly as intended, attached to the wrist strap.
Less than 30 minutes later, the band had somehow come loose from the strap and fallen into the sea. I didn’t even feel it happening.
I only realized it was gone when I looked at my wrist.
As you can see from the photo, the device is attached to the wrist strap using this mounting system. In my case, it apparently came loose without any noticeable resistance, movement or warning.
This is absolutely unacceptable for a €200 wearable. If a device is designed to be worn on your wrist, the attachment mechanism should be secure enough that you don’t have to constantly worry about losing it — especially when you’re near or in water.
€200 for less than 30 minutes of use. Gone into the sea.
I am extremely disappointed. This is not some cheap €20 fitness tracker — this is a €200 device, and the attachment system should reflect that price.
Hume needs to seriously rethink this mounting mechanism. A wearable that can detach from your wrist without you even noticing is a very expensive thing to lose.
Second review after wearing for a…
Second review after wearing for a number of weeks- I have the Hume band 2.0- I have had no connectivity issues but to say the reading are way off are an understatement- even after adjusting the strap a few times the blood pressure reading are showing a consistent 120-70 when my BP has been tracking around -105/61 for some time on a proper cuff- then there’s the wildly inaccurate resting heart rate which has me at 99 when I track daily at 54-55bpm resting. I’m not going to get into the rest of the measurements but it’s fundamentally inaccurate and the pie in the sky health metrics don’t help- I trust my apply Watch ultra as the measurements it provides are in line with my readings across the board.
Wish I’d read the reviews here first
Damn, wish I’d come here first to read the reviews. I bought the Hume Band, paid something like £150 for it.
Basically you then have to upgrade to the monthly subscription which I should have seen coming.
I’m out of the refund period now.
You’re probably better off keeping the money, putting it all on red or buying a nice meal for your family.
The data isn’t anything special, I’ve worn it in good faith for two months straight and can 100% say with confidence I have had literally zero insights from the data it’s gathered.
Waste of money. Don’t buy it.
Band is overall uncomfortable
Band is overall uncomfortable, and the battery does not last long enough to make it worthwhile. It does not also have a good indicator that lets you know the battery is dead and you are subject to missing a bunch of tracking because you did not realize the battery was dead.

I bought into the sales pitch without checking reviews, so my fault really, biggest waste of money I ever spent.
Pointless bit of kit. Measurements are so inaccurate it’s almost laughable.
Pod, likewise, a complete waste of money.
Apparently I lost 7lbs of lean muscle in one weekend, no reason for it, and my balance changed from perfect to a problem overnight…
Sleep data is so far off, I’m sure it just makes it up.
There’s no rhyme or reason to any of the trends.
Doesn’t tell you why you lose 100 health points in a week after following all its advice…
This quite a dangerously misleading bit if kit.
Absolutely pointless for health tracking.
Can’t believe I fell for the bs and actually bought one.
Do not waste your money on this sh1tty product.

The will avoid a return ignore your emails regarding it and it's nearly impossible to get them to return the item I still have not returned the hume band it doesn't not work as intended the customer service just go around in circles but dont action refund.
Hume band 2.0
I bought this Hume band 2.0 after I saw the guy from Zoe talking about the benefits of it and how it was a wonderful piece of kit - Zoe you have done yourself no favours and you now make me question your research - it doesn’t work I specifically bought it to monitor my blood pressure as the guy from Zoe says it did this - all the reviews online say we all have the same blood pressure 120/70 which is what mine’s reading - I was at the chemist today and got my blood pressure taken. It was 138/88. This is very misleading and if I could I’d have my money back. Save your money it doesn’t work.
Hr readings are not accurate at all
Hr readings are not accurate at all
Requested refund totally ignoring my request.
Would not recommend
I have had the Hume Band for about a month now. I really wouldn't buy this band. When my order finally arrived, the box was unsealed, likely implying the 'discount' for 'new' band was likely just returned or used bands marketed as 'new'.
The good:
- The band is light, comfy, not irritating even when wet.
- The app is pretty good, nothing amazing but easily understandable and plenty of information available.
The bad:
- The box arrived with broken seals.
- It fails to sync far too often with no obvious reason why (band is within range, battery is over 60% etc).
- The sleep tracking is AWFUL. I've tried wearing the sensors normally, on the inside of my wrist and slightly tighter at bedtime and nothing makes it better. The problem with this is sleep not getting tracked correctly practically throws all your other stats out.
- The price does not warrant the product AT ALL. Even at the discounted rate I got it for.
I have a Garmin vivoactive 5 on my other wrist which I use for golf and general fitness tracking and it's superior practically across all elements.
I understand the Hume is a health tracker, not a fitness trackers but when it can't track something as simple as sleep accurately, then what's the point.
Genuinely would not recommend this product.
Completely inaccurate results for…
Completely inaccurate results for everything. When I contacted Hume, they said it isn’t for corrects results, more for your body’s changes in vital signs. What a crock of sh**.
Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money. Does not accurately track anything. Days of sleep not tracked. Heart rate showing as 199 bpm when sleeping. I’ve had £24 Tick Tock app smart watches that are more accurate.
This is advertised as better than the Apple Watch/phone - rubbish
This is advertised as better than the other health gadgets. Watching advert it does lots that the Apple Watch/phone does do.
Bullshit. I have an Apple Watch which logs my atrial fibrillation, my sleep patterns, my pulse, steps, wrist temperature, head rate, resting energy and much more. I nearly got conned - returning.
NOT A GOOD PRODUCT AND APP
Sad thing is I bought it for my birthday for my self I bought a Hume to start off and that cost me nearly £200 and when it arrived I logged onto the app of Hume and then had to pay another £150to subscribe for 1 year to the app. I didn't have £150 to pay they don't advertise the price for subscription at all in there adds they refused to take it back The battery only lasted 2 days to 3 days I contacted them and I said that I wanted to send it back as it was not working properly or the battery only lasted 3 days battery the app is to expensive there was 30 DAY MONEY BACK GARANTEE THEY REFUSE TO GIVE BACK THE MONEY back to me.
I bought a Volts band for £40 as I didn't like the Hume as nothing worked on it the. Volt is iexcellent. There’s no charge for the app. The subscription is free and it gives you all the information that you would need it tracks your blood pressure heart rates your sleep HRV your stress levels your oxygen levels and much more.
It has helped me a lot my pulse has gone down to low 40’s and it informed me when my normal is in 80s and 90s so I would recommend this to anyone this is a fantastic product the volt has.a grate +40 days of battery and that’s brilliant. Keep doing good work Volt company
Waste of money dont buy
Waste of money dont buy The heart rate reading is inaccurate, and the blood pressure measurement remains at 120/71 when the correct reading is 144/95. It's a waste of money. I didn't understand anything about the program except for the sleep measurement.
The band data is completely innacurate
The band data is completely innacurate. It never tracks my workouts and has no idea if I've actually done one. I could sit around all day and it'd be the same data as if I did a heavy lift day or went dancing. The scale is terrible for connecting. The band won't fully charge and struggles to connect. I often have to troubleshoot in various ways.
Customer team sent me a free upgrade to the 2.0 since I'm a premium subscriber. It's worse than the first one. Blew my mind.
I should have read the reviews
I should have read the reviews! Ordered a band, then read reviews 🫣
Cancelled within the hour, stopped the order, great.... Or so I thought. It's been a month and although customer service, who seem very nice, tell me it's processing 🤔 I've had to go to my payment provider to reclaim money they have, for a product I cancelled and never actually received.
It may be good for some people, I can only review off my experience, and that's been utter poop.
Buy a smart watch instead
Ok so to start off with i bought this because I had the body pod. I also have a huawei GT5 watch. The band only gives you basic heart rate hrv levels etc doesn't give real time tracking a feature that the watch does.Sleep wise again not so good. Got up for the toilet then laid awake for half an hour watch recorded it band says i was asleep. Can be glitchy if it moves slightly. Battery life has to be charged twice as many times as the watch for less data. Nice if you want one app to give you data for weight etc but data is not as accurate as you can get from a watch the same price.
