While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Yoti, as a company, is one of the great ponzi schemes I've ever seen.
Make a verification system that doesn't actually verify anything, AND you get to profit off of it? It's a win-win! If you're a spineless nitwit who only cares about money

I was forced to use Yoti to restore access to an account, and it has been a total waste of time. I tried the age estimation process multiple times under good lighting, and every single attempt ended in "error estimating age." It doesn't even have the decency to tell you what age it estimated, why it failed, or how to fix it. If a company relies on this service for identity or age verification, they need to switch immediately. Broken system.

It's crap. Tried about 8 times to verify my age. I'm nearly 50

Worked about 2 out of 10 times. I'm blown away how bad it is.

Doesn’t connect with any other government departments that require identification ( which is the point of it) despite being encouraged to use it. Had to upload the ids manually on the other site . Hopeless

Horrible Program that doesn't work at all. Keeps trying to use my front camera on my phone with no way to switch. Doesn't recognize passport cards. Even with clear pictures, it simply fails to verify. I've done ID verification about 6 times with other programs and never had any issues like this.
Typical response too, "we can't help you, contact our client despite it being our software". They didn't even address the glitch where it only uses your front camera (the camera that typically doesn't have autofocus on it). Should I contact their client about whether or not a US Passport Card is a valid ID in the US? This is so ridiculous it could be a comedy skit. What an absolutely useless company, incapable of even troubleshooting their own product. Avoid at all costs.

Dreadful. My 18 yo son has now made 2 failed attempts to use Yoti for a DBS check. The Yoti system says his ID cannot be verified even though it is in perfect order, all details correct and photos in good light etc. He needs this in order to start a new job and we cannot get to a post office. Absolutely dreadful and frustrating process.

They agent take to much time to reply and when they do they don’t have answers to any problem and some even just leave you hanging in the chat and and the chat when the issue wasn’t resolved.

I tried to viewing the application to check it because I was told that it didn’t do it correctly and couldn’t see it and I tried to get through to someone for help and no one answered.

If this review relates to the client customer service team, then my experience was excellent. Responses were prompt and a call put in place to effectively resolve my issues. I did not have as positive an experience initially with the basic customer service team.

Had a few issues setting up my account.I was given advise by the Yoti team to unistall and reinstall the app as it would allow me to take my photo. After uninstalling it wouldn't let me use the same email as it had already been used on the 1st attempt. They arranged a call from one of the team who arranged the email to be removed and everything worked perfectly.
