I had a very disappointing experience with SeatGeek.
My friends and I purchased four tickets to a Phillies game on 7/16/26. About two hours before first pitch, the game was delayed by an hour. Because of work obligations, the new start time meant that none of us could attend. This was completely outside of our control and was due to a schedule change by the event.
It was surprisingly difficult to even find a SeatGeek customer service phone number. Once I finally reached a representative and explained the situation, I was repeatedly told there was nothing they could do. I wasn’t even asking for a refund I simply asked if they could transfer the value of our tickets to a future Phillies game, even if it meant standing-room only tickets, since we travel to Philadelphia for work fairly often. That request was also denied without any attempt to help.
What makes this even more disappointing is that SeatGeek proudly advertises itself as the official ticketing partner of Major League Baseball. Based on my experience, that partnership provided no benefit whatsoever when an unexpected schedule change occurred. In similar situations, competitor's Ticketmaster and GameTime have been much more accommodating and willing to work with me to find a reasonable solution.
Unfortunately, this experience has made me very hesitant to use SeatGeek again or recommend the platform to others. Good customer service is measured by how a company handles situations outside of a customer’s control, and in this case, SeatGeek completely failed.

So I purchased AEW Tickets for Nashville show 5 hours before the event .. never received ticket to the event at all .... Just crush about the whole situation ... Just sad
Canceled 30 Minutes Before the Show—No Refund
I am extremely disappointed with SeatGeek’s handling of this situation.
The concert was canceled just 30 minutes before it was scheduled to begin, after I had already taken time off work and driven two hours to attend. At that point, I had already invested my time, money, and effort to be there.
The event was rescheduled for a date when I will be out of state, making it impossible for me to attend. Despite explaining this, SeatGeek refused to issue a refund.
A last-minute cancellation should not force customers to accept a new date they cannot attend. I purchased my tickets months in advance and planned my schedule around this event. Refusing a refund under these circumstances is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of consideration for customers.
I will think twice before using SeatGeek again and cannot recommend the platform based on this experience.

Stuck at the entrance to the venue, with no tix
While visiting NYC, I decided to find tickets to the Harry Potter show for my 10 year old daughter and I. Found and purchased tickets through Seatgeek hours before the show. No tickets arrived in the e-mail, but their live chat kept reassuring me they would "arrive in time". As we both stood at the entrance to the theater in pouring rain, I was on the live chat with them telling them that the doors are open and I have no tickets to enter. It took over an hour for them to manually e-mail me the PDF. I have never had a more stressful and frustrating experience in my life. I recommend you stay away if you actually want to attend the event.
Buyer beware!
Buyer beware!! When you are searching tickets and are shown a photo know that the photo they show is not from the seat you are selecting. This is deception, as anyone buying this seat would believe there is no obstruction. Additionally, they hide behind the policy that if the venue is considered historic they do not need to inform you of obstructions to your view. We sat behind pole and had to look around it. Seatgeek offered a $20 credit.
Seat Geek is responsible for Manchester United season ticket holders losing their season tickets despite no wrongdoing
Seat Geek is responsible for loads of legit Manchester United season ticket holders losing their season tickets despite no wrongdoing - completely unacceptable and impacting fans of 10/20+ years
Awesome customer service
Awesome customer service! I had problems with my tickets and they made the process SO much easier. Pretty sure Astrid at SeatGeek helped me. They were so patient, cooperative, and had clear communication.
SCAMMERS
SCAMMERS. They don't provide real tickets with barcodes so you are unable load them into your wallet, resale, or transfer them. It is shady, and they deny it. Don't buy tickets through seat geek!!
Garbage
I do not understand how we as a society let ticketing services get to this point. I don’t know if we’re ever going to get out of it. This company does try to act like they are the nice guys, the better guys. I don’t understand why they don’t just have a line where you can just get in contact with somebody. Obviously everyone has had issues with the app, issues with tickets, issues with the day of event. This company is making money hand over fist, how hard would it be to provide customer service?
Sold me an invalid ticket, would not refund me
I bought a ticket through SeatGeek for the Lionel Ritchie and EWF show at TD Garden in Boston on 7/8/26, and when I got to the concert I found it was invalid because it had been a "non-transferrable" ticket. It was originally sold by Ticketmaster and then sold on to me when it shouldn't have been. I had to wait in line at the box office and buy a new ticket, missing part of the show. When I contacted SeatGeek I got a million repetetive questions, and they said they'd escate it and got back to me. Shocker! They never did! Seeing as their ENTIRE BUSINESS is reselling tickets, most of which probably come from Ticketmaster, wouldn't you think they would have found a way to identify non-transferrable tickets?
BTS Concert
When I was in the ticket wars for the BTS concert, Seatgeek was an alternative option to Ticketmaster. The site loaded fast, had a lot of options for how fast the tickets were going, and the payment process was quick and easy. Then I was emailed my receipt and told to get the Ticketmaster app, where my tickets already were, and stayed until a day after the concert!

NO help with customer service
chat/ email does not help slove people problems. Ticketmaster and vivid seat never give me an issuse. Its always SEATGREEK. They dont want to fix the concern, but quick to take your money Not good business. Not Safe or trustworthy.
Easy, Dependable and fair priced
Easy, Dependable and always great priced tickets for any event. I have tried other event sights and have come to the conclusion I will only use Seat Geek for my needs. Thanks for the great service
Concert Tickets
It wss a easy process and I received my ticket within 24 hours. The price was reasonable as well.
I purchased $300 tickets through…
I purchased $300 tickets through SeatGeek for a game at Wrigley Field. The listing completely omitted the fact that these were obstructed view seats.
To verify this, I looked up the exact same section and row on Ticketmaster, where the obstruction was explicitly flagged twice. Furthermore, the seating photo provided by SeatGeek did not match the actual, pillar-blocked view we were given. Because SeatGeek claims to be the "Official Ticket Partner of MLB," stadium staff at Wrigley couldn't even allow us to pay out-of-pocket for an upgrade because the tickets originated from a third-party platform.
When I contacted SeatGeek customer service after the game, I was completely stonewalled. They insisted the seats were "sold correctly" and refused to help. After a week of escalating the issue, they offered a insulting $25 credit on a $300 purchase just to get me to go away.
SeatGeek’s Buyer Guarantee proudly claims: "We’ll make things right no matter what happens." This is a blatant lie. They do not honor their own policy when a seller misrepresents a seat. Avoid this platform at all costs—use Ticketmaster or StubHub instead, where hidden obstructions aren't passed off as premium views.

I would think TWICE before ever buying on this platform again. I spent $5k on seats to the Jay Z concert in NYC and couldn't see the stage. It was the worst experience ever yet Jay Z and Seat Geek got paid. I would never use this platform again. Complete deception!!

Purchased premium parking pass for a concert. Never received the ticket and SeatGeek is unwilling to refund. Stating because the concert wasn’t cancelled, they do not offer refunds. Again, never received what I purchased. Beware of their refund policy.
