Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 2,303 reviews, reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers regularly find the platform very easy to navigate when searching for hard-to-find event tickets online. Many people deeply appreciate the reliable access to completely sold-out concerts and consistently enjoy a smooth overall event entry. However, some people mentioned that final ticket prices and unexpected administrative fees were significantly higher than initially anticipated. Reviewers also experienced considerable stress caused by receiving their valid event tickets only shortly before the actual performance started. Additionally, a few consumers frequently reported noticeable difficulties when attempting to access their purchases through cooperating external ticket websites.

I bought two tickets for the Bon Jovi…

I bought two tickets for the Bon Jovi concert on September 6, 2026, at Wembley, London. I received a message informing me that the tickets would arrive by 2 PM. In the end, the tickets never arrived, and my wife was very disappointed. But the worst part is that the money I paid was credited to an account I don't intend to use again. I want my money back, plain and simple.

I bought a ticket for an Athletic Club …

I bought a ticket for an Athletic Club Bilbao game. The ticket turned out to be fraudulent. I discovered this at the stadium, when my ticket was rejected. I immediately tried to contact Viagogo using the phone number and customer service link included in the email from Viagogo. Neither of these worked. The link to the customer service page was to a non active page.

I contacted my bank to cancel payment.

I will never again use Viagogo.

Dishonest and poor service

DO NOT USE VIAGOGO – WE PAID FOR CATEGORY A AND RECEIVED CATEGORY C TICKETS

We purchased Block 125, Category A tickets for the Springboks vs New Zealand match at FNB Stadium, paying approximately R4,000 per ticket.

Instead, we were supplied with Block 118, Category C tickets, which have a face value of only approximately R1,650 per ticket.

Viagogo’s response has been completely unacceptable. They say that the reseller is not responding and have suggested that we return the tickets, after which they will review whether we qualify for a refund. Even worse, we have been told that a cancellation charge may still apply.

We did not cancel or change our order. We paid a substantial premium for specific Category A tickets and were supplied materially inferior Category C tickets. The seller’s failure to provide what was purchased should not become the customer’s risk.

At the very least, Viagogo should either provide the Category A tickets we paid for or guarantee a full refund, including all fees, with no cancellation charge.

Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend that others DO NOT USE VIAGOGO.

Never EVER buy from them, the price is tenfold!

We bought tickets for Aida in Verona, we got the cheapest tickets that were €60 each, and I paid €600 for 3 tickets. When I questioned this, they said someone had returned the tickets and that was the amount they wanted for it, and on top of it administration fees. It is a scam, they buy all the tickets and sell them for way more than double!

Fantastic experience

Fantastic experience – saw Ariana Grande live!
I had an absolute 10/10 experience using viagogo! The website was super user-friendly and very easy to navigate. Everything went smoothly and securely from start to finish, which gave us complete peace of mind. Thanks to them, we were able to get tickets to Ariana Grande’s final concert, and it was an unforgettable night! We truly loved the whole experience and highly recommend them.

Well done to The Weeknd

Well done to The Weeknd — even though I didn’t know all his songs, he kept me entertained and dancing throughout the entire show. An excellent performance from start to finish!

Also, a big well done to the organisers. Everything was perfectly organised, with no rushing or chaos despite the huge crowd.

A fantastic show and a memorable night with my kids! 👏🎶❤️

Well done!

Even though I couldn't attend the match because it was rescheduled—forcing me to resell the tickets at a financial loss—I consider my experience with viagogo to be positive. Customer support was helpful and always responsive. The funds from the ticket resale arrived within the scheduled timeframe.

Great experience with Viagogo

Great experience with Viagogo. I was initially a little uncertain about the tickets being released so close to the event, and we didn’t know our exact seats until they arrived. It was a lovely surprise to find we were seated in rows so close to the stage! The fees were expensive, but ultimately worth it to secure the seats and be at the show. The tickets arrived the day before as promised, and there were no issues with using them on the night of the event. I’d happily use Viagogo again.

My fault I bought Ariana Grande tickets…

My fault I bought Ariana Grande tickets for the wrong day. However Viagogo then changed the rules every time I called. Said I could relist. System said no. Said the payment was confirmed and couldn't be canceled. Then said payment not confirmed but still couldn't cancel. Next days tickets arrived very very late. The man on the phone said no problem we will relist now . Tried and system would allow. Total waste of time and money. They say what they want and then don't admit there faults.

Sold out event went super smooth

The event was sold out straight away so missed some original tickets. I went on Viagogo they had several options. They weren't overly priced. I received the printable tickets within a few days. Had absolutely no issues getting into the event. I had a mini panic attack the day of the event
that the tickets could easily be duplicates then realised Viagogo have several layers of protection in place so sellers do not receive the money until after the event and can receive hefty fines if the tickets for not work.
