Bought tickets for an event, as Viagogo appeared at top of my search. Paid and told me friend, he realised that I'd paid twice face value. Tried to cancel, unable to, despite the sale being less than 5 mins ago. This is borderline fraud. Avoid this company

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
11 months ago we purchased tickets for 6th September 2026. The order was confirmed and seats issued.
2 days before the gig we were promised tickets would arrive within 24 to 48 hours and then the message changed to by 2pm on 6th September. 2pm came and the message changed to by the start of the gig.
Then less than an hour before we were told after WE rang them that they were not available and no tickets were available.
Luckly ticketmaster came to rescue and we got last minute tickets better than the tickets we had ordered and at a fraction of the cost of Viagogo.
They had no intention of supplying tickets just a complete scam. Now fighting for compensation.

Please do not book anything with this company

My mother passed away totally unexpectedly the week before
I rang the company- who assured me, under the circumstances, I would be refunded
Since that day I have spoken to the ‘customer service’ team 25 times
I have been laughed at, ridiculed and even asked if I really thought I would be refunded
It is dreadful to be treated in this way at such an emotional time
I really would hate to think anyone else would receive such treatment
Sadly, my advice is avoid this company

I purchased Bon Jovi tickets and then read reviews on here, which made me sooo nervous.
However, I have to say the process was easy. The tickets arrived from the original owner several days before the concert, I confirmed that I wanted them and then the transfer took place. The actual tickets then arrived via Ticketmaster.
We went, the tickets worked without an issue and we had an absolutely amazing time at the Bon Jovi concert.
The only thing that puts me off of using the site again are the awful reviews on here - it seems I was lucky this time, but my experience WAS 5* so that’s what I’m giving.

This app allowed me to get tickets to see my all time fav artist, i bought them two times and they never disappointed me. Thanks for making this experience possibile!! U just have to be careful with the ticket u buy the resellers must have a star on it to clarify they're verified!!

We purchased our concert tickets almost a year in advance, so we had every reason to believe everything was secure. Initially, everything appeared fine, but as the concert date got closer, our tickets still hadn’t been delivered.

The app repeatedly told us to check back in 24 hours, then 3 hours, and even just 1 hour before the doors were due to open, we still had no tickets. We had even been given specific seat numbers, so we assumed everything was confirmed.

Eventually, we managed to speak to someone by phone, only to be told that our tickets were no longer available. This was incredibly frustrating and left us wondering how tickets we had paid for and had seat numbers for could suddenly become unavailable. It certainly felt as though the tickets had been resold.

Thankfully, Ticketmaster was able to save the day and we managed to get tickets elsewhere, but the whole experience caused completely unnecessary stress and ruined what should have been an exciting occasion.

When you pay for tickets nearly a year in advance, you expect those tickets to actually be provided. I will never use Viagogo again and would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing through them. I’ll certainly be sharing my experience with friends and family.

I resold tickets as couldn't go and still not received tickets to transfer to new buyer (concert 18th September)

We purchased tickets through Viagogo for the T-Fest concert in Riga. However, even 50 minutes before the event was due to start, we still had not received our tickets.

We had travelled 5 hours to Riga specifically for this concert and had already paid for accommodation and train tickets. If tickets had not still been available on the official website, we would have been left with no way to attend the concert despite having paid for tickets through Viagogo.

We were therefore forced to purchase additional tickets directly from the official website. This caused unnecessary stress and additional expense, and we consider the failure to deliver the tickets on time completely unacceptable.

We are requesting a full refund for the tickets purchased through Viagogo. Please also explain why the tickets were not delivered before the event and confirm when our refund will be processed.

We expect this matter to be resolved promptly.

Paid for tickets, they lost our original tickets said we’d get replacements just before the gig, no tickets available, horrible service never again had to run around to try get tickets to just go after paying for all the travel, terrible place never again

I was a bit worried about using this site but after speaking to a couple of people that had used it, reading reviews and looking into how the company works, I gave it a go. SO glad I did as my daughter got her tickets for Arianna Grande and the whole experience was so easy and everything happened as it said it would and in plenty time!! Will use again.

Using Viagogo was the only way to get tickets for my daughter to see Ariana. I was extremely nervous that the tickets wouldn't come through at all, or that they'd arrive on the day and/or not work.
They came through a few weeks before the concert. My tickets in the app showed red/resale, and another blue/priority; I was worried the colour was a factor in not getting in.
I didn't know about buying tickets from starred sellers, so I was worried I'd bought from an untrusted seller.
I felt nervous until we got through, but only because it meant so much to my daughter, who had gone full-on with an outfit. But they worked. Communication, the process for ordering the tickets, everything was easy. It was the best day of my daughter’s life, she said. I would use Viagogo again. I'm leaving this review because I checked reviews every day for reassurance.

I’ve got 3 tickets for katseye concert in Manchester for me and my 11years old daughter and 8years old son.the tickets I purchased was on the seat but when I received the tickets it was stand for only 16. We couldn’t get in to the venue and we had to travel from Newcastle to Manchester. I’ve contacted to them nobody was responding. I have paid £430 but we couldn’t get seat . So disappointed avoid them .

Bought 2 KATSEYE tickets for me and my 11-year-old daughter for her first big concert. The listing said under-15s could attend standing with an adult, but the tickets then said over-16s only.

I immediately called Viagogo and specifically explained my daughter was 11. The adviser ASSURED me she could enter with me. I even asked twice because I knew how devastated my daughter would be, and I was told we could get a refund if there was an issue.

We arrived at Co-op Live after taking the day off, paying for parking and getting my daughter all excited, only to be REFUSED ENTRY to standing because she was under 16!

Viagogo listened back to my original call and ADMITTED I had been given the wrong information, but offered nothing except an apology. I had to spend another £409 on replacement tickets so my daughter wouldn’t miss the concert.

Absolutely unacceptable. I work hard to create memories for my children and this completely ruined what should have been such a special day. Other families were in the same situation too.

Viagogo should take responsibility and reimburse the additional cost caused by THEIR incorrect advice.

Me and my sister used this website for all points east festival tickets and Ariana grande tickets aswell, they were a bit expensive but that’s not so much down to viogogo but down to the seller, but received the tickets with no issues whatsoever, if Ticketmaster has sold out I would not hesitate to use again

The energy felt on that show gave me goosebums the entire concert!!!The artist,the dancers,everything was spectacular!! I simply adore The Weeknd !

First time purchasing with Viagogo.

Was a bit sceptical at first.

However purchased Ariana Grande tickets a decent price for the view which did also make me wonder.

However tickets come straight through to my AXS App with no issue at all.

Also just pointing out I did purchase a ticket with the trader icon.

Will definitely use again a great experience!

Shocking. I tried to sell tickets but as I was unable to upload the tickets they charged me £130

Never use them! They’ll rip you off if it means they can maximise their profits. 24 hours before the concert, instead of our very expensive tickets, they offered us the worst and cheapest tickets imaginable. When I complained, they apologised, they asked to send the tickets back to them and promised a full refund (as recorded in phone calls). Three weeks later, they decided they wouldn’t refund the money after all. No tickets, no money. They kept it all.
It’s also worth noting that when you see the price of the tickets, the hefty hidden costs aren’t included; you only realise this when you come to pay.
Their help centre is based somewhere in India or Pakistan, and the staff have an incomprehensible accent. And they couldn’t care less about consumer protection law.
I’m initiating a consumer protection claim and a bank ‘chargeback’ procedure against them.

Bought tickets without really realising what we were letting ourselves in for, and then immediately panicked when I saw the reviews.
The tickets themselves were overpriced, but my biggest issue was the uncertainty.
I tried to cancel my order immediately after making it, but was told the policy was no refunds and my only option was to re-sell the tickets. I didnt want to do this, as it would not reduce the uncertainty or resolve whether the tickets were real or fake.
Then commenced an anxious wait.
On the day of the event, the tickets finally arrived at around 2pm. But when I looked at them, they were in a completely different area of the arena than the tickets which we had ordered and chosen.
We very much enjoyed the concert, but I will never use viagogo again. It is far too much stress and risk.

Bought tickets for a lot of money. Tickets not arrived even 2h before the event. Offered me tickets in different seat with small credit. Don’t use them if want to have stress less day. Worse place I ever experienced.
