I've been with Fuse for 12 months now following comparison prices on Martin Lewis website. Bit of a gamble because I'd never heard of them before. The changeover was seamless. I'd always had issues with other big name suppliers unable to read my gas smart meter but no problem at all with Fuse .

The account is managed solely via the app which at first, even though I'm OK with IT, was a bit of a faff bit with the on line chat (yes you do go through a bot first but quickly liaise with an actual human) queries were quickly answered. Customer service has been good.

If you're thinking of swapping you need to be aware that their direct debits are not a standard amount each month rather the full charge for the fuel used. This has suited me personally and I have tended to add money to my account each month as a saving plan for the winter months. I would definitely recommend this company.

They are really good and the cheapest in my area. I have just scheduled my tariff change with their AI assistant ( consider it all that’s going on in the world with oil and gas I won’t pay much more for the next 24 months! ) and I have to say it was very helpful and had all the answers to what I’ve asked. Strange new world we live in.
Also their app is very good. I’m not a tech guy.

I was trying to switch it to Fuse, and being charge me 400 pounds upfront, I asked the chat online, most of the agent told it cannot be waived, I wonder why I need to pay 400 pounds upfront?? is this the way Fuse treats potential new customers?

Fuse is a new company setup not long ago, I am afraid if I pay then they suddenly wind down, what should I do?

I had an issue with my smart meter, and I was connected with Ram for support very quickly, who was able to offer a solution all before I’d finished putting my kids to bed!

They have been very helpful from start,to finish, would recommend.

Fantastic to get through to an agent at 18:30 on a Sunday evening, also to have Mohammed who accommodated my request to manually enter the meter readings as I was unable to submit photos.

They have also said they will keep in touch to let us know when the updates required from our account have been completed, which is something we have struggled with when using previous suppliers
