I heavily invested in robo rock

I heavily invested in robo rock , thinking that they were the top robot company in the industry. What a massive mistake this was. I purchased 3 of their robo rock curved to flow products. All of which are having leaky water tanks and heavy puddling on the floor regardless of adjusting water flow. I've reached out to customer service for support multiple times only to be reined in circles with no solution. No, answer, they won't even talk to me about the problem. They just keep wanting me to prove that I bought the product I bought it directly through their app through their company website, and they still are trying to ask me to prove to them that I own their products and I bought them legitimately. This place is a zoo shop elsewhere.. their products are defective and they don't honor their defective products with replacements or any proper customer service path , just a bunch of games

Q5 DuoRoller+ failed after about 15 months

I bought a new Roborock Q5 DuoRoller+ from Roborock's official eBay store in summer 2025. By October 2026, it had stopped working with Error 1, a LiDAR scanner problem. I cleaned it several times, but that did not fix it.

Roborock told me the one-year warranty had expired and offered a $100-$160 paid repair, including parts, labor and two-way shipping, or $20 off another machine at regular price.

I understand the warranty period, but I'm very disappointed that the vacuum failed this soon and that these were the options offered. I won't pay that much to repair it, and I'll be choosing another brand.

Worst vacuum

Worst vacuum. Even worst company. Every part gets separately expired every 4 months. And they don't carry those parts, literally, for their previous edition. Going to dump it and buy a better one, of course.

AVOID ROBOROCK

AVOID ROBOROCK - 1 Month Repair, Same Fault Came Back, Now They Refuse Replacement

1 star is too much. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I bought a Roborock Saroz Z70 robot vacuum. After a short time it broke down. It took them A FULL MONTH to repair it.

Now the exact same defect has appeared again. The repair clearly didn't work. The product has a fundamental manufacturing defect.

I contacted customer service and demanded a replacement, which is my right under EU law when the same fault reappears.

Their response? They refused to replace it. First they demanded I send it for a SECOND repair and wait another month. When I refused, they suddenly said "we cannot provide direct replacements in the Nordic region" and told me to go chase the seller myself.

So this is their warranty: endless repairs, months of waiting, and when that fails, they wash their hands and pass the responsibility on.

A robot vacuum is supposed to save you time. This one has cost me months of time, frustration and emails.

Product is unreliable, warranty is worthless, and service is a joke. Do yourself a favor and buy from a brand that actually stands behind its products. I will never buy Roborock again and I will be filing a complaint with the Danish Consumer Board.

Strongly NOT recommended.

Buyer Beware — Terrible Customer Service and Unavailable Replacement Parts

I purchased a Roborock Qrevo S Pro directly from Roborock approximately two months ago for nearly $400. While I was initially pleased with the vacuum’s cleaning performance, my experience with Roborock’s customer service has been extremely disappointing.

My biggest concern is the lack of genuine replacement parts necessary to maintain this machine properly. Filters, brushes, mop pads, and dust bags require periodic replacement, yet I have been unable to locate the correct genuine replacement filters through Roborock’s official store.

I contacted customer service beginning October 11, 2026, and have exchanged numerous emails trying to resolve this issue.

On October 14, Roborock acknowledged in writing that some replacement parts were unavailable, that they could not provide a complete list of compatible parts, and that they had no confirmed timeline for restocking.

Because I could not obtain genuine replacement filters, I purchased aftermarket filters advertised as compatible. Unfortunately, they did not fit properly, and my vacuum would not recognize them. The original filter works, confirming that the replacement filter’s compatibility is the issue.

Despite repeatedly explaining the situation, Roborock’s customer service continued directing me to the same online store I had already checked.

When I requested a refund due to the inability to reliably obtain essential maintenance parts, Roborock simply cited its 30-day return policy. That response completely ignored my underlying concern.

How can a company sell an appliance requiring routine replacement parts without ensuring customers can actually purchase those parts?

This is a relatively new appliance, not an outdated or discontinued product.

I have spent nearly three weeks trying to obtain a meaningful resolution. Instead, I have received repetitive responses, apologies, and no confirmed solution.

A manufacturer’s responsibility should not end once the sale is completed. Customers deserve reliable access to maintenance supplies, knowledgeable customer service, and meaningful support after purchasing an expensive appliance.

I liked the vacuum itself, but Roborock’s after-sales support has destroyed my confidence in the company.

I will not purchase another Roborock product, and I strongly encourage potential buyers to verify replacement-parts availability and research customer-service experiences before making a purchase.

Extremely disappointing.

Horrendous machine goes wrong and they refuse refund

Purchased machine paying £750 within 8 weeks part fell off. 3 months later no replacement part. I wrote to them stating I wanted a refund as machine sat not working and months later still no replacement part. Here is their response so you can see for yourself the type of company they are! Absolutely terrible... I have written back saying consumer law top trumps their policy but just be warned - I would never buy from them again!

AVOID Roborock at all costs

I have owned my Roborock S7 MaxV for just under 3 years and it has already broken. Despite caring for it religiously with genuine parts, it now fails to operate at all. This is hugely disappointing for a vacuum that cost £1300.

Unfortunately, the warranty period is only 2 years and to say Roborock aren’t interesting in helping is an understatement.

Their customer service is awful and they operate by email only, which means you can’t actually speak to anyone.

My next robotic vacuum will definitely be from a different brand. AVOID this company at all costs.

We bought the Saros 20 and loved it for the first month we used it.

The after sales service is NON EXISTANT. It has been in for repairs for over three months and all I get is an AI generated email.

The after sales service is TERRIBLE and I would not buy any roborock again after this experience. We have been without out roborock for over three months, with no followup from the roborock people, no replacement and basically no help at all. Just no roborock.

Do not buy one.

Absolute dog customer service

I have 2 devices, both initially very good, 1 has become faulty
Claimed they have repaired it under the warranty but it has been sent back in EXACTLY the same packaging, cellotape etc everything, device has the exact same broken mop issue as I sent it in with and there's no doubt in my mind that the device was not even unpackaged to inspect let alone repaired

Break after 2 years

Break after 2 years. Ours did and our two couple friends have the same experience. Roborock warranty is meaningless.

We sent ours in for repair, and not only did Roborock not fix the problem, but they broke the Roborock further by shattering the front bumper. When we informed them that it was broke even more, even taking pictures of the package, they blamed us and blocked our account, even though we were neutral/polite when writing to them.

They will also have your customer support tickets answered through text by AI, who will intentionally lead you in circles, asking for information you already gave, and ignoring your requests for them to take your Roborock to fix.

Never buy this cheap Chinese crap. It is insane that the EU does not ban this company from selling their faulty products in Europe.

Machine jerks while going on a straight…

Machine jerks while going on a straight line by the wall. Explain it and sent videos. Sent it to get fixed and they told me they replaced the wall sensor with other sensors. When I looked at it, it was the same one. Put it to vacuum and it was still doing the same jerking. Send it a second time, this time it took close to 2 weeks to get my vacuum back. They say they changed the wall sensor again., and as I look at it, they didn’t. Still with the same problem. And all you have to do is look at the picture I took, you can see us the old sensor. As I’m planning to report them to BBB, I read they have an F rating. Why are we buying from this company? And why is this company allowed to sell, when all they do is miss informed you on what they do. Not a trustworthy honest company.

Unreliable product and appalling customer service

My Roborock QV35 worked for around nine months before developing a fault. I sent it to Roborock for repair, which took two weeks, only for the vacuum and dock to come back in worse condition, with a completely different fault. So much for repairing it.

What followed was six weeks of chasing customer service, repeated apologies and promises of a replacement that never arrived. I then spent two weeks waiting for a return label because of their own “label generation issues”.

They refused to send the replacement until they received the faulty unit, while failing to provide the label I needed to return it. Then they told me the exchange could take another one to two weeks after the return. Absolutely ridiculous.

Their idea of compensation for returning a faulty machine and wasting weeks of my time? A spare mop head. Honestly, insulting.

Amazon has now sorted a refund. Roborock did not resolve this—Amazon did.

A product failing within nine months is bad enough. Returning it from repair with another fault and then leaving the customer chasing for weeks is unacceptable. The real test of a company is how it deals with problems, and Roborock has been utterly useless throughout mine.

I won’t buy another Roborock product. Based on my experience, I’d strongly advise spending your money elsewhere.

Not worth the money

Not worth the money.
Maybe the technology just isn't ready for prime time. The vacuum itself isn't strong enough to get the dirt or grit up off my floors and the mops are just okay, one barely works most of the time. Customer support is mixed. They provided self-help guides to fix the problem, but never arrived at resolution and the guide wasn't even for the model I have. In terms of "smarts", this thing has a hard time. I have a list of dumb things it does and if you put an obstacle on the floor, add 10 minutes of cleaning time because it can't figure out an optimized way to get around it. I have wood floors and every time it takes off the mops to start cleaning them, but realizes it needs them, and goes back to put them back on. Again 3 minutes wasted. Also, it decides it needs to clean the mops at the end of a cleaning, but also needs to clean them before beginning to clean, so it just wastes water. Roborock isn't a great solution if you're looking to actually replace manual cleaning in your home.

Stopped working less than a year and no response from Customer Service

My Roborock Q7 TF was purchased in Singapore and has stopped working in less than a year. I’ve tried countless times to reach their customer service through the official channel WhatsApp chat and phone, but I’ve never received a response. This is my second Roborock. The first one lasted five or six years and was fantastic. I can never imagine buying another one again.

Would never purchase Roborock again!

I did so much research before buying. I wanted to buy something of quality and durable. After 5 months, one wheel stopped spinning ( the vacuum was always kept clean and no animals). After getting a repair approved it took 3 weeks to get the vacuum back!! Well 3 months after the repair same wheel same problem. Again weeks to have it fixed. Will not offer a new vacuum or investigate why the problem keeps happening. They also confirmed that after the 12 months of general warranty I was out of luck even if the same issue was to happen a third time. I find this lack of service and warranty absolutely ridiculous and frustrating when you pay 700$ for a unit that’s should be top of the line.

Vacuums are nice but customer service a disaster

Vacuums are nice, but customer service is terrible. Ordered a batch of accessories from the store. Never arrived at my house. Their solution was giving me the post office customer service number. Thanks for absolutely nothing. Just bought a new $1500 vacuum and they won’t make a $40 purchase right. Smart.

Three weeks, 21 emails, zero resolution - support doesn't read your case

Bought a brand-new Roborock Qrevo Pro from Target in June 2026. It worked fine for 1-2 months, then suddenly started misdetecting my area rug's boundary. It cleans a 'ghost' area beyond the rug edge and repeatedly catches and lifts the rug edge, damaging my $1,000+ rug.

The product defect is one thing. The customer service is worse. I contacted support on Sept 17 with photos and videos. Over three weeks and 21 emails: they repeatedly told me to use a 'Recognition error? Adjust' option that DOES NOT EXIST on the Qrevo Pro. I told them this multiple times and they kept repeating the same instruction, proof that no one was actually reading my case; they kept asking me to redo troubleshooting I had already completed and documented; they blamed rug friction for the edge lifting, when the lifting is damage CAUSED BY the malfunction, not its cause; my repeated escalation requests were ignored until the case was routed back to the very same rep I had complained about; and they refused a brand-new replacement, offering only a refurbished unit because I bought from Target.

A factory reset and a full remap did not fix it. The sudden behavior change after months of correct operation points to a hardware/firmware defect, which they refuse to acknowledge. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Avoid this company - if anything goes wrong, you are completely on your own.

Do not purchase- poorly made product

We purchased our roborock in August 2025. In November we contacted them because of the poor performance. The only customer service they offered was to send pictures of the areas we were having problems with instructions on how to clean which we had already tried. They would not offer to service it under the warranty. We dealt with it until October when I contacted them again as the product was already useless. Again they offered cleaning suggestions- I told them that we were having the same issues, they offered to service it for us, but since it was NOW out of warranty we would need to pay to have that done, even though we had contacted them several times previously. Would not recommend: self emptying container - not enough suction power, NOT pet friendly, the rollers continously need cleaning, battery sensors are worthless as you have to always adjust the vacuum when it docks so it charges (after less than a year they don't charge pass 25%), and then of course the customer service was that of AI and did not address the warranty the first time we contacted them even though we asked.

Broke right away

The rectangle part that covers the brushes broke a few weeks after I got it. I live in ground floor all flat and hardwood. Only the wood seam. They sent new one and of course broke again. Just shows the quality…. The mopping doesn’t work at all either you might as well just get vacuum only. No point in paying the price tag you can’t trust. Esp with short warranty. Thought I could trust. Ver wrong save your money.
