It would have been great. Except when I went to the bank and deposited the check they said the funds weren't all there. Everyone was friendly etc. Usually you put a check for deposit and its good... See more

Always skeptical about online sites, but this was an easy and excellent experience! I couldn't find any local firms that wanted to buy my vehicle, but these folks worked with me by phone and gave me a $1,000 price above any of the locals. I highly recommend givemethevin for sale of an older vehicle that's still running.
The entire process was handled professionally and smooth. They purchased my 2015 RAM for a fair price and the transaction was really easy. I would definitely choose them again!
I sold my car to GivemetheVin and the entire process from start to finish was easy as could be. They gave me a great price and everyone I interacted with was very pleasant. I would recommend them to anyone looking to sell their car.
I would be very weary about doing any business with this company. They seem to have a tendency to breach the contract. I was offered $7800 for my Jeep Compass. I had signed all the paper work and documents to them. Even mailed my title to them the same day I got the check. In the contract, it states that a vehicle inspection would be conducted within 72 hours. I dropped my vehicle off at an Auto Auction on a Friday. I kept getting the run around with them, stating a third-party is supposed to perform the inspections. Then I was told inspections are done on Thursdays (that was never mentioned prior to me dropping off). I waited a whole week, basically kept getting the run around from Monica Padron. Here we are Friday 06/12/26 and I had to threaten them with a police report for fraud and theft for them to finally do something. Stating the check funds would be available and to wait 24 hours before cashing to ensure funds are available. With a vehicle sitting on a lot for a week, anything could have happened. I told Monica and another woman name Jennifer that per the contract that an inspection should have been done within 72 hours and I would not be liable for any damages done to the vehicle. The vehicle had a routine maintenance done prior to dropping it off and that no adjustments or alterations to the check could be made because they breached the contract. When a vehicle sits for too long without running, there is bound to be issues. There was also lack of communication, no one would pick up the phone unless I blew the phone up requesting updates. It took me threatening a police report for fraud and theft by deception for them to stop dragging their heels in this. I would not recommend doing business with them, I really don't see myself doing business in the future with them. I had really high hopes for this company, though they only offered $100 more than what Carvana offered me. I even checked their ratings on BBB. Just do your own research. This is purely based off my whole experience with them. I still have a useless check until Saturday. We shall see if I can cash it. Until then, seller beware!
***Edit- it shouldn't have taken over a week and a threat of theft and fraud for me to receive funds. Still won't be doing any future business with this company.
Carvana had a much better offer
Austin Parkey offers less than current market valuations
Give Me The Vin - was AWESOME and Super Easy to work with. To be honest, i initially tried Carvana, but after they messed around with the quote process - initial offer high, and then after a couple days waiting for paperwork - significantly reduced their offer. I immediately logged into GMTV, and the process was super easy / open / transparent / and NO - Bait and Switch..... They made me offer, i uploaded the requested information and pictures - so easy! When i delivered the car - the check was already waiting for me, and they even provided an Uber back to my location! I highly recommend GMTV!!!! Great Experience - from start to finish - Thank You both - Matt and Nick!!!!
Good price for a quick easy sell on my schedule. Perfect.
I learned of Givemethevin.com listening to the Car Pro radio Show on the weekends. When it came time to sell my vehicle I decided to try it out and did so by submitted the requested information through thier website. Once submitted, I received a respose via text within 24hrs. I gave them an honset assessement of the vehicles overall condition and they gave me an honest price that was competitive with I would have expected to sell it for on my own without the hassle. From there the process went exactly as thier provided documentation state and the office manager was in contact to navigate the process. The vehicle was picked up and I was paid in less than a week start to finish. The process was so simple and hassle free that I plan to work with Givemethevin.com in the future. The differnce in what they offered vs. what I would have asked if selling out-right was negligible when compared to the time & hassle saved. The staff was professional and punctual, try for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
I was skeptical but GMTV took me through every step. They always answered the phone and answered my questions. I was only 100% certain when my vehicle loan was paid in full. I highly recommend GMTV for a fair price on your vehicle.
I had such a great experience with these guys. Mom passed away & we needed to get rid of her 2002 minivan but most offers were incredibly lowball except for givemethevin. they were the closest to KBB estimate and were very professional & easy to work with. Highly recommended!

It was a quick online process. It did take me time to gather the items to get a quote. Once I received the offer it was lower than expected. On a great note, after speaking to a manger by phone, they raised the amount and I am happy to say they increased it to my liking. The next day, I signed a purchase agreement and drove the van to their closest drop off location that Saturday. It was an easy transaction, and I had a check in hand in less than 30 minutes. Thank you GMTV
Do not honour their $100 price match guarantee. Avoid - Shady. Dealt with JB Greer - he refused to pay the price match, claiming it was a fake offer.

GiveMeTheVIN is THE way to sell one's vehicle w/o any hassles and a fair offer to boot! Bryan Ly (817-241-4891) was my agent who handled my transaction process with complete professionalism, kindness and authentic personal support and guidance. Bryan loyally kept me apprised of the process throughout the entire procedure. Wow, such great customer service!! This is our 2nd vehicle we sold to GMTVin and, if need be, will use them again. For now, we are pro advocates and will always recommend this company to family and friends who want to sell their vehicle.
I was surprised by my experience. Their offer came in significantly lower than three other dealers who contacted me after I submitted my information through Kelley Blue Book.
In good faith, I shared an Edmunds appraisal for context and made it clear I was not expecting retail pricing, I understand dealers need margin. My expectation was simply to be somewhat below trade-in value.
However, they responded by stating that Edmunds reflects retail pricing and declined to proceed. This was confusing, as the appraisal I provided clearly outlined trade-in, private party, and dealer retail values.
Given their website claim, “Sell your car for the most money — one fast offer, zero hassle,” my experience did not align with that message.
Based on this interaction, I would not choose to work with them in the future.

Very happy with the whole process! Daniel was great to work with, as was Brian. 10/10 would recommend!
What a jerk. Typical used car salesman, Douglas, talking over you treating you like you're a child. I should have known better.

Horrible liars. They claim that they will beat every offer, but when U gave them proof, they denied it. It’s a complete scam. They actually believe their own BS and wanted to argue with me. After giving them proof, they would it acknowledge it. A complete scam!

They gave me a very fair offer for my car, and it was more then Carvana & CarMax. I did have to drop them the car 35min away from me VS Carvanas home pickup. But was still an easy process. my finance company was paid off in 5 days. Id would for sure give them a try in the future.
I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt this one was worth it. I was honestly a bit skeptical at first because the process seemed too easy—selling a car sight unseen? But everything they said was 100% real.
They gave me a fair offer, communicated clearly the whole time, and followed through exactly as promised. The process was smooth, fast, and completely hassle-free.
If you’re on the fence like I was, don’t be—these guys are legit. Highly recommend!
This place is a joke I don't know how people show their vehicles to this place they didn't even offer me a quarter of what the vehicle was worth I took it to the dealership and traded it in for four times what they offered me and didn't even purchase a vehicle I could have sold it to an individual for eight times the value they offered me like $1,500 on a 2015 Ford F250 4x4 in great shape the dealership gave me 8,000 cash could have sold it for $13,000 and they offer $1,500 they are crazy
