Terry was lovely and welcoming. Helped me out massively in understanding how things work and was very patient with me. Lovely visit
Booked an engineer visit for a router issue and took time off work for the slot, no one showed up and no call to explain. Rebooked for the following week and the exact same thing happened again, with only a brief apology text sent after the window had already passed.

Emma and kashif were brilliant. Very helpful. Thank you
The worst broadband in the UK. Customer service has now been outsourced to India, and they literally have no clue. Every call takes about 40 minutes, and you end up with no resolution. It was decent at the start but constant lies about the network and services being down. Engineers not turning up, and when they eventually do, they just fob you off, basically saying it's not their problem. Seeking legal advice. Horrible company.

I had my fibre optic installation completed by Sky engineer Carl from Stafford. He explained the process through out looking after his own personal safety using his issued equipment. A1 job carried out made better by being a fellow Villa fan. UTV
Good morning,
The router has been rebooted, so please check your logs. The WiFi is still dropping. With regards to the contract, we are aware we have a 24-month agreement, but if the service being provided is unreliable, I do not see why we should have to pay. We could switch to another provider like BT or EE where the router functions without dropouts. It worked fine in the other rooms previously; we are still in the same apartment and the router is in an open area with nothing blocking it.
The Sky router does not have the same quality as the EE one, which is why the WiFi drops and the range is insufficient. Since we are in contract, you are essentially refusing to help unless we pay an extra £6 a month for a WiFi booster. It seems like a tactic to provide standard equipment that drops connections, and then require customers to pay extra when they raise a concern. This approach does not prioritize the customer.
Please review the logs and let me know how this can be resolved without additional charges.

They had average service over years of being with them, so I thought, better the devil you know and wanted them to move with me, long story short, they quoted 13mb speeds when gigabit was available, then tried to backtrack but couldn't sort out moving my account telling me I needed to call back after 24hrs...
5mins on the phone to ee and I was sorted!
Had a call yesterday from someone while driving calling to talk to me about my Sky service. Began asking me to confirm my details so I question why I have to confirm who I am when they've called me to try sell me something. Silence followed by call ending! Checked the number today +448007613372 and its a legitimate call so please train your staff on how to properly speak with customers. I hope the call was recorded for training purposes!

Moved to a small flat which Virgin didn't cover so I ordered Sky from a booth on the high street and was told I would get all channels with broadband and be able to record six programs at the same time all for a £66 per month.
When it turned up it was Sky Stream which does not allow recording and relies on a good internet connection. The box for the broadband was not powerful enough for a small flat so I had to upgrade to a better one at an extra £10pm. When I could take the buffering and zero service no longer I spoke to someone and they confirmed I could use the communal dish on the roof. After an engineers visit I now have a better service but the bill went up to £90pm. Days later I tried to watch football and couldn't because I didn't have HD so rang to get it and now paying over a hundred per month. Flicked onto Sky Sports to watch the cricket and couldn't watch that because I needed UHD...now paying over a £120pm. Each time I phone to get what I originally thought I had I get a new two year contract and get locked in again. Originally signed up in February but contracted until June 2028. Not the service I was expecting and will leave as soon as possible.

We have been customers with sky for years and the service we have had recently was appalling. A direct debit was missed, no notification of this from Sky and unfortunately I was in hospital at the time so couldn't check that the money had come out. We were then faced with a double bill for this month which I could not settle in full. I have called Sky multiple times this month. An advisor has something different every time. No accountability from the team for poor communication. Notes should of been taken, they hadn't, agreements made by advisors which shouldn't of been. Management not calling us back and trying to brush problem under the rug. Then I was blamed for their mistakes! Not how you treat customers. We will be looking at other options as this has completely disheartened us. Go to Sky if you want extremely poor customer care and no accountability for their actions.

My experience with Sky has been appalling. We were leaving the UK for 12 months to visit relatives in Australia. So as per Sky's policy I rang them in February to cancel my subscription which I subsequently did. I received an email confirming my account was cancelled on the 28th March 2026. However for the past 4 months Sky have been bombarding me with emails claiming I owed them £114.50. In the last month and a half they passed my case to a DEBT COLLECTION agency who also bombarded me with email demands. The stress this caused me was immeasurable. Because I was in Australia there was no way I was going to ring them and pay another penny. Trying to contact anybody via email proved nearly impossible as they explained that they couldn't talk to me as my account had been suspended. It has taken me until the 21st July to have this issue closed and receive a refund of £9.85. I was planning on getting Sky again when I returned to the UK in 2027, now I'd rather slit my wrists. THE WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET BY A COUNTRY MILE!!. Believe me when I say this is a shortened version of my horrible experience.

Customer service is a nightmare over 3 hours on phone passed on to 17 separate departments and still not resolved. I was with them less than a week and I couldn't take no more of the Customer service people who i rate as a minus 10

Just signed up for Broadband. However, I’ve not even begun the service and already been a litany of errors and utter incompetence.
My first impression was being posted an empty box - yes, that’s right, an EMPTY box. Postman commented to me that he thought it was empty when he delivered it. No hub.
Went on online chat, said they would complete a resolution form and someone get back to me in 10 days. No mention when a hub will be sent out before service is meant to be activated on 12th August. Chat correspondence has now disappeared! No communication, just silence now 🙄
Also, appears Sky have debited my account for £5 - no mention of this or what it was for. Who knows? It’s probably for the empty box I was sent 🙄.
I will chase one more time but if I don’t get immediate resolution or refund of the mysterious £5, it will be cancelled before it’s begun and I’ll be off to Plus net. Appalling first impression and Sky clearly from this are a bunch of absolute amateurs.
Please don’t tell me either to go in SM: Facebook or Instagram to contact you. I have neither and try and stay away from that sort of thing.
The clock is ticking and your time is running out Sky. Contact me and sort it. It is NOT for your customers or potential customers to run around after you trying to rectify your mistakes and incompetence. Wish I’d never bothered now if this is a snapshot of how the customer service is going to be.

15 years with Sky with TV Broadband and Mobiles. Over the last two years something changed and we have had to move our mobiles and broadband away from Sky due to very poor performance and delivery. Today the TV was cancelled and moved to EE after Sky were unable to register our house move (1970s house been there long enough) on their system even though there was a Sky dish fitted. The address issue aside they were thinking BT Openreach were able to fit new a cable to Sky dishes, which they're not. The Indian call centre felt like they were clueless and blagging it with no working knowledge - and this after two weeks of no progress and failed call backs, they said it would now be three weeks for a Sky Engineer, if they can fix the address issue. Nope. I cancelled straight away (they seem to be able to do that) and have now taken up the EE TV package - which is half the cost and has the all Sky channels we watch, plus pause and recording. EE are much more efficient too, so winner winner chicken dinner on moving to EE.

The first 2 weeks was frustrating because my broadband kept going off so
Sky kept checking it because it was my network that wasn’t connecting to it then it got fixed
After that it’s been terrific no more trouble at all and for half the price of my last server who I was was with for years so I’m very pleased with sky Broadband
