I’ve been ordering the large unsliced Wholewheat Sourdough since Aug 25 and the quality continues to be excellent- fresh, tasty and chewy as sourdough should be. They use DPD delivery service which is reliable and always keep you informed. Would highly recommend.

GOOD IN BREAD offer the best sourdough bread and the quality is constantly good. The slices are a little bit big for us as we like to toast the frozen slices and they are sticking out of the toaster. But this company is listening and will change that. I am glad we found them and enjoy their bread very much. They are the best.

As a type II diabetic I am trying to move to more natural foods with less processing and additives. Until recently like many I had purchased bread from supermarkets but unfortunately the product they call bread bares little relation to the bread I consumed in earlier life. The need for ease of production and extended shelf life has resulted in a product that really isn’t bread anymore. Even if you seek out a more expensive sourdough in a supermarket it frequently means its batch processed and sent out to the end sale point for finishing and baking off and a look at ingredient lists reads like a chemists contrived result not bread. Given this I looked in hope for locally baked bread however many of the local bakeries had closed down owners had retired and moved on. I started to search online for traditional baked bread. Soon I found Good In Bread and read the story of how the owner had come to setup the company and the range of products they produce. The website also dealt with methods of storage and ways to get the best out of the bread. I thought I will make a small order to try and see how it tasted and if I could make use of the service they provide. The order came via courier in very short time after placing the order. The sourdough I chose has one of the lowest glycemic indexes making it the preferred choice for me. From the outset I was very impressed by the speed of delivery fresh from the bakery. The taste, the texture of the bread is amazing, it made me realise what I had been missing. No chemicals no preservatives just natural product made how it used to be flour and water and not much else. It can be bought pre sliced or in half loaves. The slicing option meant that it came ready to freeze which I later discovered helps in many ways besides convenience and extended life. So now I remove the slices I need and keep those at room temperature, the bread keeps perfectly that way and as I use it I draw more slices from the freezer to the bread bin. So now I have a regular order by direct debit for my bread across 4 weeks before the next is delivered. The system is flexible and you can set how frequently the bread arrives. The system Good In Bread has in place ensures fresh bread is always available and consistently good. Finally I must mention their website contains excellent advice and they also produce other bakery products. I cannot rate them highly enough in all aspects they excel and I can recommend that you try a one off order to see for yourself just how good the bread really is.

I stumbled across an ad for this place and thought I'd give it a go as their selection looked so good. Well, one order in and I've become a subscriber! The bagels are the best I've ever had anywhere, same for their pastel de nata (& I'm something of a connoisseur 😂) and other sweet pastries. Even their orange juice is spectacular. I can't recommend them highly enough. Everything arrives so fresh, I toast the bagels as that's my preference, and they're just soooooo good. I now structure my grocery shopping around what I want to accompany my bagels & bread! Even my stomach is happy, which just about never happens, and certainly not with bread. Order immediately, you won't be disappointed.
