Do not use this company
Very bad experience with this retailer and recommend everyone stays well clear. They advertise items at a discounted price to encourage impulsive purchases but the sale period never expires despite the clock ticking down.
Purchased several posters for my son’s birthday in August and delivered was delayed. I asked for a refund as the delivery had missed my son’s birthday but they refused. It transpired that my posters were stuck at customs - the website clearly stated no customs fee when these posters were purchased, and have evidence of this. The posters were returned to the retailer but they still refused to give me a refund.
Please do NOT buy anything from this company.

- Our promotions and countdowns are updated regularly, and prices may remain discounted depending on stock and ongoing offers. The countdown timer reflects promotional campaigns but does not guarantee that a price will increase immediately after expiry.
- At the time of your order, our website clearly stated that customs fees may apply for deliveries outside the EU, including the UK. We're transparent about this in both our shipping policy and checkout process, and we have since further improved clarity on this point.
- Your parcel was returned to us because customs duties were not paid by the recipient, which unfortunately is beyond our control. Since the parcel was not collected and returned automatically, the refund policy you accepted at checkout does not apply, as the product was prepared and shipped as expected.
That said, we understand your frustration, especially when it involves a gift. We truly appreciate your feedback and are constantly working to make our process smoother and more transparent.

I bought 2 framed posters (A4 x1 & A3 x1) from Postersbase.com to include delivery which cost £54. I thought this was a lot of money but didn't mind paying it if they were high quality, and it included delivery. There was no mention whatsoever of customs charges at the point of sale. I then receive a 'fee' notice from my local post office stating that a parcel had not had the customs paid for and so to be able to collect it, I needed to pay the fee. I then look closer at the postersbase.com website (as there's was the only company I was awaiting a parcel from), which states that customers may be liable for customs fees. Upon arrival at the local post office, I had to pay just over £16.00 to collect them (A4 x1 and A3 x1 posters). It was Christmas Eve and these were a gift for my son so I felt I had no choice at this point. Needless to say I sent an email asking for an explanation and have attempted to send another email but I am now blocked! Zero response and zero accountability.

We’d like to clarify that customs charges for UK orders are clearly mentioned in our Terms & Conditions and also in our Shipping Policy on the website. That said, we completely understand how frustrating it can be to face unexpected fees during a busy time like Christmas.
Since then, we've improved our shipping options and now offer GLS Express Delivery, which allows customers in the UK to avoid paying customs duties, as all fees are included at checkout.
