What is OKA all about? Simply put, it’s a love affair with living well. Since the very beginning, we’ve been on a mission to create things that make time spent with friends and family more memorable. We believe that’s the secret to living beautifully: enjoying it. OKA started small, with three women bringing unique designs from the Far East to shoppers in the West. Lady Annabel Astor, a serial entrepreneur on a mission to find special items to decorate her holiday home with, invited two friends along: her sister-in-law Sue Jones, whose decorating pedigree included stints at Jasper Conran and Colefax and Fowler, and Lucinda Waterhouse, a skilled horticulturist whose company made exquisite faux flowers. Together they set out to create a catalogue of charming home upgrades. From the start, the OKA team has called on talented artisans from all over the world to bring its ideas to life. Our furniture and homewares prioritise beauty, comfort and style, but we choose items for their integrity, not because they fit a prescribed look. The magic of OKA is the mix: hand-picked global treasures, rich textures and patterns, and timeless furniture profiles. It’s ever-changing but unwaveringly British; elegant and easy-going; sophisticated but never stiff. And our name? OKA is a phonetic take on ochre, a colour that nods to the East, yet feels innately British. A blend of cultures and aesthetics working in perfect harmony, which is at the heart of everything we do. Building on over two decades of collections, 13 experiential stores in the UK, a website, and an ideas-packed magazine, we’ve become a destination for lovers of home, season after season. And the more we continue to follow our passion for design, the more we inspire others to find theirs.

Fantastic customer service! Very quick to respond and incredibly helpful.
Knutsford store never fails to impress . Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
Customer service above and beyond, I can’t praise this store enough. The staff go out of their way to be kind & courteous. I would like to give special thanks to Claire and Talia who assisted me with an on line order that was delivered broken. Harrogate replaced the broken products and matched the original sale price. Thank you to an incredible team who are clearly well managed and offered a master class in customer service with clear communication and understanding.
The light is perfect for what I needed and looks great - no wires or fiddly fitting required.
Prompt delivery and it looks great in situ
Two ornaments I brought for a gift were both beautiful very happy with both peices
The item I ordered ( green marble pear) was a total disappointment.
It did not match the online image.
It wasn't even green - more a beige colour with a dark line around it.
It did not feel luxurious or match the price point.
It felt like a lump of plaster rather than the glossy green marble I was expecting.
I paid £10 for delivery which I thought excessive. Now will also be charged £10 to return.
Will not be ordering from OKA again.
Phoned local shop, put item on hold for me with discount - easy transaction and helpful staff.
Customer Service is outstanding and products are beautiful. I’d buy from OKA again and again and again!
It’s difficult to understand the recycling. I spoke to someone to order my next supply the representative gave me the wrong information. I wanted my usual 3 month supply and ended up with 6 months. I don’t even know if the product has that shelf live. I like the actual product.
Exceptional customer service experience. I need to be honest to explain the experience. I ordered crockery from the Fenoglio range, unfortunately, two of the three packages arrived broken so I rejected the parcels. Chloe from customer services was incredible, due to the product being out of stock, she checked the stock quantities at Harrogate and arranged for those to be held until I could collect them. Thank you for being so kind, apologetic and creating a solution in super quick time.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They remember you and ask about your previous purchase And some in particular are an asset to the company. Making your experience like visiting friends. Which develops trust in your product. The showroom is a pleasure and the smiling staff complement it.
Excellent service and really good discount in sales! Thank you team Froxfield 🙌🏻
I was pleased with what I received but unfortunately they didn't include the whole order and I had to call the following day to make Oka aware. The lady in customer service was very helpful and I received the missing item within 48 hours. It was just a shame that I needed to follow up.
