We found Appliances Direct online and chose to get an induction hob from them. It arrived next day ( free delivery) and was well packaged.
I have put 4* and not 5 because of the surprise phone call shortly after purchasing it (about an hour).

The phone call was regarding taking out insurance. The lady was very friendly but I was a bit overwhelmed. Although I can cancel at any time I felt a bit pressured into it. Although it sounds a good coverage for a reasonable price I’m not sure if I have “paperwork “ to prove it. Also the hob sat a month before the electrician was able to come and fit it. So a month insurance for nothing!
I think I would use them again but be ready for the phone call.

We renewed our car insurance with RAC recently. We were given plenty of notice of the upcoming end of previous policy so had time to search around.
The process was quick and easy and I like the app and monthly updates and reviews on driving related issues.

I had a password problem and none of the FAQs were helpful so I phoned the helpline.( the number which was easily visible and I didn’t have to search pages of info to find it)
There was the usual automated message but once that was done the phone was answered in 2 rings by a very helpful human!
It was so refreshing to get straight to someone who could deal with my problem.
Sorry I don’t remember who I spoke with but she was so helpful and soon the problem was resolved.

I liked the initial contact by website followed up by a phone call. This made it personal.
Gavin the agent I spoke with was friendly and respectful and explained the policy and provision well.

I have used Free Prints Photobooks many times. There are lots of options- book size / shape, number of photos per page, background- I learn more each time I use it. Last time I used it I had a problem with photos not syncing from iCloud and others disappeared after being chosen but the help button showed lots of information to check and even I was able to follow it and sort the problem.
Delivery experience has always been good with sufficient but not ridiculous packaging.
I would have liked to overlay some photos, I haven’t found that option yet or it doesn’t exist.
I would recommend photobooks as someone who is not very technical or media savvy.

There’s nothing much I can say as I’ve not even set off on my trip and I hope I won’t need to claim anything. The website form was easy to use and it didn’t take long to get the insurance sorted.

Good early information regarding account maturing, with helpful information on what will happen and what options for reinvestment. Not pressured to reinvest with them.

The cards I ordered came 2 days later, earlier than anticipated!

This parking spot was so easy to find from the M1 and so close to the tube station.
Really great.
If other cars are parked it could be a bit tight to get into the middle spots, especially with a larger vehicle.

I ordered a paper back book set. Everything on-line was good and payment straight forward. The package arrived as per tracking messages. I dropped the star rating because the corner of set is a bit squashed and it’s a present for my grandchildren. Often these days there’s too much packaging but the box set was just sent in a plastic bag with no protection for the corners.
It’s not bad enough to return but takes away from the crispness of a new set.
I would still use WOB because they offer books at great prices.

Ben talked us through the health hazards associated with travel in the area we are going to. He then showed us the various vaccination options and what was most relevant for us.
The surroundings were comfortable and non clinical but administering the vaccination was very professional.

Easy to use the app. Photos arrived quickly. Postage costs reasonable though I had been told I would have postage deducted at end of the order.

Quick comparison of ferries for the route I needed and straight forward booking form.

I want to give a shout for Graham, kitchen Designer at the Lancaster branch. Really polite and interested in what we were saying about what we wanted from our new kitchen. He pointed out good and bad points , but had a solution To help make necessary adjustments. He was patient as we swopped and changed ideas and showed them on the graphics so we could make the choices we really wanted. He also worked on getting our bathroom order in and helped to sort discount for both orders.
I’ve seen bad press for Wickes and trust we will be happy with the products but in the meantime we can recommend Graham assomeone to consult about a new kitchen.
