Used to be good.....

25th Sept....by way of update, the complaint procedure is abysmal! Evri came back to me, but with entirely the wrong information about a parcel. Very frustrating. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

I have used Evri both as a sender and recipient, for several years and up until the last month, I would have said they are excellent.
HOWEVER, in the past couple of weeks, I have seen a dramatic change in the standard of service. Several parcels have been very badly damaged. Fragile goods have been smashed to pieces, despite being clearly marked "fragile". Couriers don't ring doorbells and just leave parcels in outside areas, in the open for anyone to lift and/or be exposed to the elements.

The final straw came today, when a customer of mine sent me photos of a box containing a well bubble wrapped, boxed and clearly marked "Fragile" all over it. The glass shade was completely destroyed, the box looked as if it had been used for football practice! I had hoped to be able to upload them here, but there isn't the option.

I think that some couriers see the "Fragile" mark and it's almost a taunt for them, to see just how much damage they can inflict on a parcel!

Very, very poor and I will not be using them again.

Fantastic

Really quick delivery! I ordered a coffee bean container and bag of coffee to sample. They were with me the following day - excellent!

The vacuum container is really nice and plenty big for 1kg of beans.

Now, the coffee....you can definitely taste the difference between it and a cheaper bean. They are a bit more expensive, but if you appreciate good coffee, why not spend a little more?

My vehicle was dealt with in a timely matter and was returned to me washed and hoovered!

Heard good reports about Oddballs, so when I discovered that they do ladies underwear, I purchased a few sale items.

I have not been disappointed. Super comfy, wash really well and I just love the funky patterns.

I've recommended Oddballs to friends and will definitely purchase from then again.

Better by name, definitely not by nature.

I have been a member for almost three years and one thing I can compliment the Centre on is the Gym Staff. Each and every one of training staff are friendly, approachable and always appear to be genuinely happy to see you in the gym or at one of their classes.

However, the facilities are nothing short of shambolic.
Firstly, the cleanliness and hygiene right throughout the Centre are extremely poor. The toilets are frequently dirty, floors and even walls soiled with substances I shudder to think of, as to their origin. Door locks broken, or not working (two cubicles on the top floor in particular), lack of basics like hand soap and/or toilet roll and clean toilet brushes are not a big ask. Given the level of footfall in the Centre, such things must be routinely checked and maintained.

The floor in the main class studio is DISGUSTING, there is no other word for it. It is astonishingly evident that it does not get regularly cleaned. There are hairs, dust, dirt, mud all over the floor, and those are just what can been seen by the naked eye. For a studio that can have as many as TEN classes a day in there (most at full capacity) it is wholly unacceptable that the floor is not properly brushed, cleaned/disinfected on a daily basis.

The main building itself, for something that was hailed as a multimillion pound, state of the art construction, is a huge let down. The main roof leaks almost every time there is any remotely heavy rainfall, rendering the main staircase unusable because it is a health and safety risk and is shored up by scaffolding. The far right corner in one studio has a puddle in it every time it rains, but at least someone tries to mitigate that by setting a bucket under the leak.

The ceiling at doorway to the back staircase has tiles missing and clear evidence of damp/leaking and yet, because the main staircase is perpetually out of use, this is one of the advised routes of access for the facilities upstairs.

I could go on, but I've made my full feelings known to the Centre itself.

For £45 a month, I really feel that members are being ripped off.

Follow up review from purchasing my new…

Follow up review from purchasing my new sofa earlier this year. It was delivered today by David and Jordan and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with, so friendly and didn't complain about having to carry the sofa up two flights of stairs!

This is my second purchase from EZ Living and will not be my last.

Wonderful experience. Donna Thompson, my sales rep could not have been more helpful from start to finish. The furniture itself (Brighton bed frame and bedside lockers) is of high quality and I am delighted with it.

Purchasing, yes. Selling, not great.

Third time I've used Music Magpie for purchasing a refurbished phone. I cannot complain about that, delivery was swift.
However, when selling my old phone (which appeared to me to be in very good working order), I was very disappointed to be told that the initial valuation of £110 had been reduced to a mere £20, citing "screen burn". I'll be interested to see if another company has the same result.

I am very sorry to learn that your experience hasn't been positive.

Having looked into your Sell order I can confirm that upon Quality Assessment, our technicians found that your device has screen burn. Whilst this does not necessarily affect the functionality of the device, it is classified under our ‘Faulty’ specifications. A screen burn is where you can see a faint outline of something that was once on the screen - such as an icon, the time, or lines - showing mainly on clear white screen. This can get worse over time, meaning that were we to buy this item we would have to replace the screen before selling it on and have to consider refurbishment costs in these instances.

We appreciate that customers may be unhappy with their regrades which is why we allow you to decline our offers and have the device in question returned. I can see that you opted to do this.

I am very sorry that selling with us did not work out on this occasion.
