25th Sept....by way of update, the complaint procedure is abysmal! Evri came back to me, but with entirely the wrong information about a parcel. Very frustrating. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
I have used Evri both as a sender and recipient, for several years and up until the last month, I would have said they are excellent.
HOWEVER, in the past couple of weeks, I have seen a dramatic change in the standard of service. Several parcels have been very badly damaged. Fragile goods have been smashed to pieces, despite being clearly marked "fragile". Couriers don't ring doorbells and just leave parcels in outside areas, in the open for anyone to lift and/or be exposed to the elements.
The final straw came today, when a customer of mine sent me photos of a box containing a well bubble wrapped, boxed and clearly marked "Fragile" all over it. The glass shade was completely destroyed, the box looked as if it had been used for football practice! I had hoped to be able to upload them here, but there isn't the option.
I think that some couriers see the "Fragile" mark and it's almost a taunt for them, to see just how much damage they can inflict on a parcel!
Very, very poor and I will not be using them again.
