Although running late
Although running late, kept us up to date with eta. When they got here the problem was such that the job could have been postponed. Instead, Craig phoned a colleague who came out to assist. They spent a considerable time replacing outside cable. They also made doubly sure everything was spot on before leaving.

First engineer said garden needed to be dug up. Had a call and another engineer came. He was great. Sorted out and got set up.
Extremely poor experience
On the 8th September, your first engineer turned up, never got closer than the front gate, took a couple of photos and left. I have viewed this on my CCTV timeline. He never actually entered the property, ring the doorbell or attempt to contact me. He then reported to Plusnet that he was unable to access the property or contact me. He lied! On the 28th October after hearing a banging on the frontdoor, I found your engineer there. The appointment was for between 13:00-18:00, he arrived at 10:30! So I was not expecting him for another 3hrs minimum!! He wasn't interested in discussing the situation, instead stated that he was about to cancel the job because I didn't answer the door!
He did a neat installation but doesn't understand anything beyond that. He connected my router to the output of the Plusnet router?! When it didn't work immediately, he said I should find out about router settings and IP addresses as they were different for fibre, which is complete rubbish. Overall, a very poor experience.

Shoutout to Openreach for a top-notch full fibre install! Zack and Darius and they colleague were absolute legends, not only did they get everything set up perfectly without leaving a trace of mess, but they also went above and beyond by helping move my fish tank. And yes, Boris the fish is officially a fan.
They treated Boris’s home with care and made sure he was safe and sound during the move. It’s not every day you meet engineers who are this thoughtful. Big thanks to Zack and Darius you’ve got a happy customer (and a happy fish)!

The engineer was polite,friendly and knowledgeable. The whole job was completed very quickly. The only issue I now have, which was not noticed until today is that there is quite a large void in my wall rendering to the side and behind where the box was fitted to the outside wall. This can now allow rain to enter into the connections. This will have to be addressed fairly quickly.
