I now have two pairs of LANX boots: The Edisford and The Aspinall. They are brilliant, 'proper' boots and I have no regrets spending a bit more than my usual budget. Beaufully made and finished in the UK too, solid and carefully designed. They have a look that no other boots in this ilk do. I have a horrible feeling a third pair of Lanx will be appearing. Truly, give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.
So happy a friend recommended this company to me! Bought my first piece recently (Buci blouse) and was blown away by the quality, fit, detail and fabric. AND, as others have mentioned, the beautiful and careful packaging. For me, this was a considered purchase but I will continue to shop with Palome as the value for money is undeniable. It's easy to spend as much on mediocre items. Here, the quality and timeless style shine through.
My experience with Dating Options has been nothing but positive. From the initial communication using a contact form on the company website, to the prompt response and Teams call with one of the consultants. Kerry was everything I hoped she would be during our conversation: friendly, professional, knowledgeable, thorough and positive. Above all, I finished the call feeling more hopeful than I have felt in a long while about finding a partner as this medium is tailor-made to each client; no 'one size fits' all approach here. So far, I have nothing but praise for Dating Options and wish I had taken the plunge to use the company earlier.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this positive review, it means the world to our dedicated team of matchmakers.
Received my feeder securely packaged and promptly. Easy to assemble; construction solid and neat. Birds adapted to their new feeder quickly and with enthusiasm. I've now ordered a second, compact feeder for a smaller area. Most importantly, I witnessed both a rat and a squirrel unable to either grasp the feeder or take the food of course.
Avoid like the plague! I have had issues with Shell Energy Broadband quite a few times, but decided to stick with the company as I got a reasonable deal for upgrading to super fast fibre broadband. However last night (and continuing to today) I have an issue with the router and connection. Despite spending almost 51 minutes on the phone with people from customer service it's STILL not resolved which means I cannot work or use my mobile phone. A person in standard customer service was unable to help and said she would put me through to the fibre team. A person in the fibre team was unable to help due to 'system' issues and said he would put me through to another team. I give up. STILL CAN'T WORK! Please don't go with Shell Energy for broadband as I suspect at some point in time you'll be extremely disappointed and frustrated. ADDENDUM: I now cannot connect to the internet for more than 3 seconds at at time. I have just called to ask how much it would cost to cancel my contract and when I was told over £400 (as I only went into the useless fast fibre broadband contract in March), just burst into laughter than tears. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH SHELL ENERGY BROADBAND AS YOU WILL REGRET IT. SECOND ADDENDUM Missed a call from Shell today (22/04/24). Called back as requested. Was asked to advise what the issue is with my broadband connection despite having had a conversation with about six people over a very long period. Point made.
Finding Caroline's studio and attending her classes and events has made a real difference to my life and I feel sure that positivity will continue. Although I am not currently a member, I have every intention of joining, having tried out almost all the classes now using individual passes. I appreciate so many elements of the experience, including those voiced by the other five star reviewers. From my experience attending the classes themselves to the warm welcome, beautiful spaces and passion behind Caroline's coaching and guidance ... to the opportunity to meet others through the social events organised with a cup of herbal tea and homemade cake on offer! Thank you for what you do for us all, Caroline. It's wonderful!

What a glowing review - thank you so much, Hani. I really appreciate your kind words + it makes me so happy to hear you feel this way. Thank you for being a part of it all.
No compassion; no understanding. Of course I would have been misguided to think that Parking Eye would look at my appeal details and grant a stay of execution for payment - £90!! As expected, the response to my appeal was to reel off, parrot-fashion, the fact that their signage is clear and that I overstayed my welcome. No acknowledgement of the reasons I gave for my extended stay in the car park or the multiple times I tried to remedy the situation. Just empty, sanctimonious words. I'm an NHS worker who for reasons Parking Eye was able to read in my appeal was unable to park in my own car park, and turned to the spaces in their site out of desperation. I suspect that in order to be successful in an appeal one would have to be on the point of death to the extent one were unable to move one's car. Even then, it would not surprise me if Parking Eye tried to send a penalty letter ... Shame on you ... shame on you, although it's obvious Parking Eye doesn't care in the slightest about any of these reviews. So many other people have had dreadful experiences. Silly me to have ever thought my appeal would be considered.
Tried to create a profile recently (I've had many in the past) but received a message indicating 'unknown error occurred'. Pointless message without any further explanation. Contacted Customer Services to ask and was sent a message that made no sense because it seemed to be a copy of a message sent to a different team at Match dealing with scammers and fake profiles. However, the upshot is that it looked as if Match believed me to be a scammer. I responded asking for more information. No reply. I sent a separate message to Match asking for clarification. No reply. Very unhelpful and really quite stupid. Why would a scammer contact customer services asking why their account had been blocked? My advice: don't bother with Customer Services. Seems to be manned by one person who is unable to read or do anything more than copy/paste text from a different email trail, without giving any explanation.
My complaint is about the Customer Services team or whichever team deals with reporting a scam/fake profile. I have now reported the SAME scam/fake profile five times. The same set of photos and the same profile information are used. In the username, only the digits used after the first name change so it's really not difficult to spot. Basically nothing happens, and no one cares. A virtually identical profile appears the same day or a few days later. So much for any thanks for ensuring the site stays safe. Nothing but words; no actions. PoF - please don't waste your time responding. It's pointless!
I hadn't used Ocado for some years but decided to place an order recently and was offered a free delivery slot. So far so good. Shopping arrived on time, delivered by a polite and friendly driver. HOWEVER this is where other shoppers need to be aware of the company's shady practices because when I checked my bank account later that evening, Ocado was holding TWO pending payments. One for the shopping which I recognised (circa £50) and one for a higher amount (circa £53). I called and was told that it's standard practice to withhold a certain amount from new shoppers' accounts in case there are problems with payments. However, the amount withheld was supposed to be a random 4 per cent of the total shop plus a random £2 which would NOT come to £52! Ocado told me to contact my bank. First Direct told me that the amount withheld has nothing to do with them. Ocado told me that the pending amount would be blocked in my account for a couple of days but never debited. NOT ACCEPTABLE. A few points: why is this not made transparent at the point of sale? I have checked my emails from Ocado and my receipt, but this is not mentioned anywhere. why was the second amount 'frozen' more than the amount of the spend? why did I have to spend nearly 45 minutes on the phone to Ocado and my bank trying to work out what was going on? I am sure this is covered somewhere on the website - possibly in FAQs - but shoppers should be told when they make an order that this horrible practice might happen; not be relied upon to search through the website retrospectively for answers. I have asked Ocado to delete my account. I refuse to shop there again and I would do the same thing if I were you.

Hi Hani, we are sorry for any confusion regarding the payment for your order, that this was not properly explained when you contacted us about this, and that you have deleted your account. We do inform customers on the checkout page next to the checkout button that we may take a pre-authorisation on the order, and that this will be more than the order amount to cover for bags, items priced by weight, and any substitutions you may receive. This is on the screen that you checkout an order on, and by clicking the place order button you have agreed to us taking this pre-authorisation. This will be up to £10 more than the order amount. As mentioned, this is a pre-authorisation, the money will never leave your account. In terms of this showing as a second charge, this is something that we have no control over. This differs from bank to bank, and this will have been the way that your bank handle this. When we take a payment for an order we immediately release the pre-authorisation back to you, however, this can take 7-10 days for your bank to process and for the money to drop back into your account. There is nothing further we are able to do to speed this up, as this is all down to your bank's processing times. As well as listing the information on the checkout page on the website, order confirmation emails you receive to confirm the order has been placed state: "If you're placing an order for a new address or payment method, or haven't shopped with us in the last 90 days, we may pre-authorise your payment for verification. This can include an additional estimated amount to cover the cost of carrier bags and items priced by weight. This amount is only reserved and never actually deducted from your account, although some card providers will show this reserve on their online statements. Once the delivery has been made and payment has been taken, pre-authorisation will be released back to your card.". On top of the page that you checkout the order on, and the email confirming your order that we send out, this is also in our terms and conditions under '5. Methods of Payment'. If you would like to discuss anything further, please contact us on one of our social media channels. - Rory
Ordered an item over a week ago. Still no sign of it. Have contacted Customer Support twice - no response. Contact telephone number is overseas - not local - so difficult for some (including me) to call. I should have checked the company out in advance and looked at the negative reviews. Another to avoid like the plague unless you're willing to a) spend time 'chasing' and b) probably never see the item you ordered again or receive it weeks later. Useless.
I complained about Dusk at the beginning of November and that seemed to have elicited a reply from their Customer Service department. However the promises made in the reply haven't translated into reality. So once again, dear readers, I urge you to avoid Dusk like the plague unless your expectations are low.

Hi Hani,
Thank you for sharing your concerns.
We're sorry for the frustration you experienced with our customer service. This doesn't meet our standards, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Your feedback is invaluable, and we're committed to learning and improving.
Avoid like the plague unless dreadful customer service is acceptable. Ordered three items in the sale for a good price. Didn't realise only one was available for dispatch immediately; the other two not available for one month and three months respectively. That was MY fault, I know. It didn't occur to me that anything ordered would not be available for so long so didn't check order confirmation details. However, I have since contacted Dusk TWICE for help, especially as one of the items should have been delivered by now and hasn't been received (with no update why). The result: The first time I was asked if the orders had been dispatched (how should I know?!) and the second time I have been completely ignored apart from a standard response indicating how busy the company is. I'm now not even sure if I'll ever receive my order so may have ended up paying £42 for two pillowcases. I won't repeat this mistake. Appalling service.

Hi Hani,
I am sorry you have struggled to contact us, this is far from the usual service we expect for our customers. We have received a higher influx of contact which has resulted in us falling short of our usual response times.
I would like to reassure you that we are doing all that we can to ensure we are providing the best DUSK experience from here on.
I can see this has been resolved, thank you so much for your patience.
If there's anything I can do to restore your faith in shopping with us in future, please do not hesitate to let me know.
I realise this is a negative review partly due to my personal situation, but nevertheless I would now avoid this company like the plague in light of my recent experience. A small plastic catch on my blind has broken which means the blind will not stay pulled down. An initial call to the company sounded hopeful - the person to whom I spoke said it would be possible to send out a 'small plastic part' to me so I emailed photographs of the window. Subsequently I was told a) the company will not supply the part and b) the only option I have is to buy a whole new blind. Finally c) the blinds are intended to be fitted by the user. Given that a) I have no idea how to fit the blind (having looked at the instructions), live on my own and have no one who can do this for me b) cannot even find anyone to pay who will do this for me ... it means I'm left with a non-functioning blind forever open. I also resent the assumption that everyone has someone who will do this type of thing for them if they cannot do it themselves. Not my case. Thank you, Keylite, for your kind consideration and understanding.
Parcel not delivered after 15 days. Tracker doesn't work. No reply to email. No one available to take a call. What more do you need to know! My buyer still doesn't have the items she paid for. And I haven't been paid because they are stuck somewhere. Appalling service. Avoid like the plague.
Not a review about the standard of work - a comment about the APPALLING and DANGEROUS driving I witnessed today from this company. If you trust someone like that particular driver to look after your car, good luck to you. Apparently the Highway Code doesn’t apply to him.

Good afternoon, I am sorry that you have had a poor experience with one of our drivers. Please can you email me your name and vehicle reg so that I can locate you on the system. Alternatively, if you have not had a repair from DWV then please email me the vehicle registration of the van that you witnessed to be dangerously driving. Please send this to seama.sandal@dwv.co.uk Thank you
Great choice of products and kit updated regularly. Prices are spot on, and some of the lines unusual to our market: not readily available on the high street. Communication is prompt and clear too. Personally wouldn’t ever bother to go out shopping again for my gym kit. SportPursuit has it all and more at better prices!
DO NOT SIGN UP for any of the courses offered by Reed because you risk the same thing happening to you as is happening to me. I paid for a course offered by OfCourse on the Reed website, and received an on-screen message indicating I would hear more in a few days. Nothing happened. My money has been debited but it's impossible to get a sensible answer from Reed via their contact form and impossible to even get a reply from OfCourse. Needless to say, no telephone number on the OfCourse website, and the only one I could find on the Reed website did not work. This is downright dishonest.
