Worst dating app! Initially I signed up for free only to find I was being shown the SAME profiles over and over again despite having swipped left on them. i contacted customer service who suggested a delete the app and download it again. I did this and it made no difference. I decided to give the week subscription a go as according to the app I had over 200 likes and over 50 messages....when I paid, there wasn't this many likes or messages. I went through and swiped left on the ones I wasn't interested in, only to wake up today and see 10 of the same one's again appear AGAIN.

They do not even deserve 1 star.
They informed me of a like and match from a so called user so i subscribed for a week
I sent this person a message,and within 10 minutes,that profile had dissapeared..i feel i was scammed by this company.
Within that week.i got a number of likes.but no replies from any of my messages..please avoid this app like the plague,lets hope they get closed down soon..good Riddance to rubbish

Avoid at all cost. They close your account for sneezing. Want more money at every turn. Put this app out of business. Fake profiles galore. 90% ugly. Any genuine profiles will still be on here on in 10 years time.

I can ohnestly say its a total corrupt dating sight. Full of fake profiles. They just want your money... avoid at all costs

My gripe with this site is its design and functionality. It is REALLY poor for a modern day website. The layout is poor and not intuitive at all. Its like zero thought has been given to end user experience. It needs a total overhaul by a proper design team who actually know what they are doing.

Terrible site. (Match.co.uk not .com)Avoid at all costs. Why….well I have been locked out of my 6 month subscription 4 months in. No explanation, no correspondence just locked out. I think they use AI to decide on who to block and AI for support because I have done nothing wrong and the only response I have had is an automated message telling me to change my password which is not what the problem is. I am reporting them to the UK trading standards and issuing a claim in the courts for a refund.

I’ve just sent an email to Match telling them to cancel my membership. I’m the three weeks I’ve been on there I have had almost continual likes from Romance Scammers, two this morning already!!
Of I can spot them using ‘reverse image searches’, why can’t Match do the same?
What a waste of time and money.
I am a widow of two and a half years, I was ready to start to get my life back, but after my experience with Match, I’m very wary to trust anyone again.
I thoroughly recommend that you save your money and give Match a miss.

The site is full of scammers trying to scam you out of your money would never recommend anyone to try this dating app

Trust me when i tell you Match.com and all the other site's it own's are nothing but a great big scam and any positive review is fake so if you want to give away your hard earned money cancer research is a good bet.

Ive managed to connect with someone *for free* but you need subscription to write someone and the monthly payment is absolutely outrageous. So I've proceeded to delete my account. Guess what? I COULD NOT! DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH THESE SCAMMERS! I have pictures with everything, firstly I've asked the help line how to delete the account and they will send you an automatic email with the steps, but when you go back online to apply them, you will find that you DO NOT have those mentioned options. So I've sent 3 days ago, a couple of mails, ASKING TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT and I've got absolutely NO RESPONSE! Avoid! Super super dodgy

Match.com UK is honestly a let‑down. The platform feels outdated, the matches are mostly inactive, and if you’re lucky you might find one decent profile — but most are not okay or not responsive at all. It’s slow, overpriced, and the overall experience is just crap compared to what it promises. Definitely not worth the time or money.

In the discover section, they have cropped peoples photos for the desktop website so you only see half the photo, what on earth is the point of that?

Also they do not advertise anymore and numbers are getting smaller.

I will be unsubscribing at the end of the 6 month subscription.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. I have used Match on and off over a number of years. I can only say this latest experience has been the worst ever, so much so that I have deleted my account 10 days early rather than put up with such a substandard piece of software.
There are so many things wrong with it it is almost impossible to know where to start.
One thing apparent very early on when joining this time is how it has monetized several things that used to be available for free.
No you can't add a height preference when you search without paying for it, no you can't filter by interests unless you pay for it, no you can't hide your profile unless you pay for it - quite simply everything after paying the joining fee is an add on.
Then there is the app version where it is so easy to click a 'like' when you are looking at a profile - it's like a hair trigger! Then they only way you can 'unlike' them is to block them!
When a chap has paid for a priority service where they supposedly go to the top of prospective ladies lists you as that lady also have to pay an extra fee to be able to send them a message, super like or something - I am sorry but this is robbing enough without anything else. And also you need to deactivate your subscription as soon as you join or they automatically take another!
So, in conclusion just don't do it - it is a soulless awful experience..

I paid for two months and did go on a few dates, however, suddenly my account was ban and I did not do anything to warrant the ban. I contacted customer service many times and got a response 3 weeks after submitting form to resolve.

I was told that my email address does not exist on the site, afterwards they still attempted to take money from my account (which I blocked the payment prior), after completing a couple more "ban" forms they sent a very abrupt email as follows "As indicated in our previous email, all ban or content removal appeals must follow the instructions here.
We consider this matter closed and will not respond to further replies.

Adding to one of the reviews I read, the verification feature does not work, I tried numerous times, took photos and followed instructions as stated and nothing worked.

Wow thank god my six months has finished at the end of August. I could count on one hand how many interactions I have had. Thought that women want someone in there life to enjoy life and time with but I found a lot of women want someone who is like a guy with 6pk and totally fit and if women want that but you will find they will turn out wrong for you. Match.com is not like it used to be when I last used it years ago, waste of time and money I would give match.com and the women on there 0/10 😞😞
